How do I place or wall-mount the HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS?
You have two options for placing your HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS:
On a flat surface:
Place the soundbar on a stable, flat surface like a TV stand or shelf, centered below your television.
Wall-mounting:
To mount the soundbar on the wall, follow these steps:
1. Attach the wall-mount brackets to the bottom of the soundbar.
2. Drill two holes in the wall for the mounting screws. Ensure the screws used are 4mm/0.16″ in diameter and at least 30mm/1.18″ long.
3. Fasten the mounting screws into the wall.
4. Hang the soundbar on the fastened screws.
How do I connect the HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS to my TV?
You can connect your HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS to your TV using one of the following methods:
A) HDMI (ARC) Connection (Recommended):
Connect one end of the included HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the soundbar. Connect the other end to the HDMI (ARC) port on your TV.
B) Optical Connection:
Connect one end of an optical cable (sold separately) to the OPTICAL port on the soundbar. Connect the other end to the OPTICAL port on your TV.
How do I power on and set up the HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS?
1. Insert the included batteries into the remote control.
2. Connect the power cord to the POWER port on the back of the soundbar and plug the other end into a power outlet.
3. Press the Power (ن) button on top of the soundbar or on the remote control to turn it on.
4. After connecting your TV via HDMI ARC or Optical, press the TV button on the remote control to select the TV source.
How do I pair a Bluetooth device with the HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS?
1. Press the Bluetooth (∗) button on the remote control. The soundbar will enter pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to Bluetooth settings.
3. Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select “JBL Bar 2.0 Plus” from the list of devices to connect.
The effective range for Bluetooth connection is up to 10 meters (33 feet).
What are the functions of the USB ports on the HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS?
The HARMAN JBL BAR 2.0 PLUS has two different USB ports with specific functions:
• USB Type-A port: This port is for software upgrades. For the US version of the product, it also supports USB playback. For other versions, this port is for service only.
• USB Type-C port: This port is used exclusively for the wireless dongle of the JBL Bar 2.0 Sub, which is sold separately.
