1) +/- : Increase or decrease the volume level.

2) Play Button (▷): Play, pause or resume.

Press to toggle between different light patterns.

Press to turn Off / On, all the lights.

Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the strobe light on or off.

Press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

Press and hold for 2 seconds to enter True Wireless Stereo (TWS).

Press and hold for 10 seconds to forget all paired devices.

6) Power Button: Turn the power on or off.

1) AUX: Connect to an external audio device through a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).

2) USB: Connect to a USB storage device or charge an external USB device.

3) DC: Connect to a car charger.

4) AC: Connect to AC power supply.

5) INPUT: Connect to the analog audio output jacks of an analog device through RCA (red/white) audio cable (not supplied).

6) OUTPUT: Connect to the analog audio input jacks of an analog device through RCA (red/white) audio cable (not supplied).

7) MIC: Connect to a microphone.

8) GUITAR: Connect to the guitar.

For best quality sound, ensure the two tweeters are placed on the upper side of the speaker box. Place the speaker on a flat, stable surface with the rubber feet side down. You can place the speaker vertically or horizontally, and it will automatically optimize the sound to adapt to the placing orientation.

Note: Do not sit on the speaker or push it. Otherwise, it may result in malfunction and cause personal injury and/or property damage.

The HARMAN JBL PARTYBOX 200 can be powered by an AC wall outlet or a DC car charger outlet. Use only the provided power cord.

Using AC Power:

1. Plug one end of the AC power cord into the power connector on the back of the speaker.

2. Plug the other end into a wall outlet.

Using DC Power (Car Charger):

1. Connect the car charger to the DC power jack of the speaker.

2. Connect the other end to your vehicle’s car charger outlet.

1. Press the Bluetooth button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device, choose “JBL PartyBox 200” to connect.

3. Once successfully connected, audio will stream from your device to the speaker.

Notes:

The speaker can memorize a maximum of 8 paired devices. The ninth paired device will replace the first one.

The operational range is approximately 10 meters (30 feet).

If a PIN code is requested, enter “0000”.

Bluetooth performance can be affected by the distance between the product and your device and the environment of operation.

To exit Bluetooth mode, insert a USB storage device.

To terminate the Bluetooth-enabled device:

Turn off the speaker.

Disable Bluetooth on your device.

Move the speaker beyond the Bluetooth operational range.

To reconnect the Bluetooth-enabled device:

When you turn on the speaker next time, it will try to reconnect to the last connected device automatically.

If not, manually select “JBL PartyBox 200” on your Bluetooth device to start a connection.

Plug your USB storage device, such as an MP3 player, into the USB port of your HARMAN JBL PARTYBOX 200. The music will play automatically. If it does not, please check that the USB device contains playable audio content in a supported format.

Notes on Source Priority:

When the USB source is not playing, Bluetooth can break in and play music from the phone.

When USB is playing, Bluetooth cannot break in USB.

Priority goes to USB, then Bluetooth, and then Aux.

Supported Audio Formats:

AUX Connection (3.5mm cable):

To play music from a portable audio device, ensure no Bluetooth or USB device is connected.

1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied) to the headphone socket of your portable audio device and the AUX connector of the speaker.

2. Turn on your portable audio device and it will start playing.

Note: To exit AUX mode, choose Bluetooth or USB as a source first.

INPUT Connection (RCA cables):

To play music from an analog device like a TV or DVD player, ensure no Bluetooth, USB, or AUX connection is available.

1. Connect a pair of RCA audio cables (red/white, not supplied) to the RCA audio output sockets on the analog device.

2. Connect the other end to the INPUT (L/R) connectors on the rear of the speaker.

You can mix sound from a microphone (not supplied) or an electric guitar (not supplied) with another audio source.

1. Rotate the MIC/GUITAR volume knob counterclockwise to turn down the volume.

2. Connect your microphone or guitar to the MIC/GUITAR jack of the speaker.

3. Sing through the microphone or play guitar.

To adjust the volume of the main audio source, press +/-.

To adjust the volume of the microphone or guitar, rotate the MIC/GUITAR volume knob.

Caution: When not using the microphone or guitar, decrease the MIC/GUITAR volume to minimum and remove them from the jack.

Yes, you can use the HARMAN JBL PARTYBOX 200 as a battery charger for your rechargeable USB devices. Connect your USB device to the USB port on the rear of the speaker to begin charging.

Before carrying the speaker, make sure that all the cords are disconnected. To avoid personal injury and/or property damage, hold the product firmly while carrying.

1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button (∗) on both speakers simultaneously for 5 seconds. The TWS connection will be built up. By default, the speaker connected to your smartphone is the master speaker (L channel), and the other is the slave speaker (R channel).

2. Press the L/R button on one speaker to toggle between L channel / R channel / Stereo. The other speaker will change its setting automatically.

3. To exit TWS mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button (∗) for 5 seconds on either speaker, or power off the speaker.

Ensure the HARMAN JBL PARTYBOX 200 is powered by an AC source to go into Demo Mode.

To enter or exit demo mode, press and hold the Play (▷) and BASS BOOST buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

In demo mode, all input sources are disabled. All buttons except + / – / Play (▷) / Light / BASS BOOST are disabled.

Note: The PartyBox has 3 x 30 seconds music tracks built-in for demo mode.

Playback in Demo Mode:

Press Play (▷) once to start, pause, or resume play.

Press Play (▷) once after a pause to play the next track.

When the HARMAN JBL PARTYBOX 200 is powered by an AC or DC power source, the product will enter standby mode if there is no action for 20 minutes. If you press the power button or there is a Bluetooth stream break-in while in standby mode, the speaker will enter normal mode.

If the unit will not turn on, check if the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and to the PartyBox.

If there is no sound from the speaker, try the following:

Make sure that the PartyBox is powered on.

Make sure that the volume level is turned to an audible level.

Make sure that it is connected to a music source.

Check if you have enabled the Bluetooth function of the device.

The PartyBox may already be connected to another Bluetooth device. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker to disconnect and pair with a new device.

If you experience poor audio quality, it may be due to poor Bluetooth reception. Try moving the device closer to the PartyBox, or remove any obstacle between the device and the PartyBox.
