Step 1. Place a single document face down on the document glass, or load documents face up into the document feeder.

Step 2. Select (scan) > Scan to PC > Local PC on the control panel (or Scan to > Local PC).

Step 3. Select the application program you want to use (default is My Documents) and press OK.

Step 4. Select the desired option and press OK.

Step 5. Scanning begins. The scanned image is saved in your computer’s “C:\Users\users name\My Documents” folder (the folder may differ depending on your OS).

Step 1. Place a single document face down on the document glass, or load documents face up into the document feeder.

Step 2. Select (fax) on the control panel.

Step 3. Adjust the resolution and darkness to suit your fax needs.

Step 4. Enter the destination fax number.

Step 5. Press (Start) on the control panel. The machine starts to scan and send the fax.

When the toner cartridge is near the end of its life, you may see white streaks or light printing. You can temporarily improve print quality by redistributing the remaining toner.

Step 1. Open the front cover of the printer.

Step 2. Pull out the toner cartridge.

Step 3. Gently shake the cartridge from side to side to distribute the toner evenly inside.

Step 4. Reinsert the toner cartridge back into the machine.

Step 5. Close the front cover securely.

If print quality does not improve, you will need to replace the toner cartridge.

When a toner cartridge has reached the end of its life, the machine will stop printing.

Step 1. Open the front cover.

Step 2. Remove the old toner cartridge from the machine.

Step 3. Unpack the new toner cartridge and gently shake it side-to-side to distribute the toner.

Step 4. Remove any protective covers or seals from the new cartridge.

Step 5. Insert the new cartridge into the machine until it clicks into place.

Step 6. Close the front cover.

When an imaging unit has reached the end of its life, the machine will stop printing.

Step 1. Open the front cover and pull out the toner cartridge.

Step 2. Hold the handle of the imaging unit and pull it out of the machine.

Step 3. Unpack the new imaging unit and remove any protective covers.

Step 4. Insert the new imaging unit into the machine, ensuring it is properly seated.

Step 5. Re-install the toner cartridge.

Step 6. Close the front cover.

You can check the remaining life of your supplies from the control panel.

Step 1. Select (Menu) > System Setup > Maintenance > Supplies Life on the control panel.

Step 2. Select the option you want to view and press OK.

Step 3. Press (Stop/Clear) to return to ready mode.

Cleaning the inside of the machine can clear and reduce print quality problems.

Step 1. Turn the machine off and unplug the power cord. Wait for the machine to cool down.

Step 2. Open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge.

Step 3. With a dry, lint-free cloth, wipe away any dust and spilled toner from the toner cartridge area and the cavity inside the machine. Be careful not to touch the transfer roller.

Step 4. Wipe the toner cartridge with a dry cloth to clean it.

Step 5. Reinsert the toner cartridge and close the front cover.

Keeping the scan unit clean helps ensure the best possible copies.

Step 1. Slightly dampen a soft, lint-free cloth or paper towel with water.

Step 2. Lift and open the scanner lid.

Step 3. Wipe the surface of the scanner glass and the document feeder glass (if applicable) until it is clean and dry.

Step 4. Wipe the underside of the scanner lid and the white sheet until it is clean and dry.

Step 5. Close the scanner lid.

To avoid paper jams, refer to the following guidelines:

1. Ensure that the adjustable guides are positioned correctly.

2. Do not overload the tray. Ensure the paper level is below the paper capacity mark.

3. Do not remove paper from the tray while your machine is printing.

4. Flex, fan, and straighten paper before loading.

5. Do not use creased, damp, or highly curled paper.

6. Do not mix paper types and sizes in a tray.

7. Use only recommended print media.

If your machine and access point (or wireless router) support Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS), you can easily configure the wireless network settings.

Using PBC (Push Button Configuration) Method:

Step 1. On the control panel, select (Menu) > Network > Wireless > WPS Setting > PBC. Or, press and hold the (WPS) button for more than 2 seconds.

Step 2. The machine will wait for up to two minutes.

Step 3. Within two minutes, press the WPS (PBC) button on your access point (or wireless router).

Step 4. The machine will connect to the network, and the display will show “Connected”.

Using PIN (Personal Identification Number) Method:

Step 1. On the control panel, select (Menu) > Network > Wireless > WPS Setting > PIN.

Step 2. An eight-digit PIN will appear on the display.

Step 3. Within two minutes, enter this PIN on the computer that is connected to the access point (in the router’s configuration settings).

Step 4. The machine will connect to the network.

To use this feature, you need an NFC and Wi-Fi Direct enabled mobile device (Android OS 4.0 or higher) with the Samsung Mobile Print app installed.

Step 1. Check that NFC and Wi-Fi Direct features are enabled on your mobile device and that the Wi-Fi Direct feature is enabled on your printer.

Step 2. Tag the NFC tag on your mobile device (usually on the back) over the NFC tag on your printer. Wait a few seconds for the Samsung Mobile Print app to start.

Step 3. In the app, select print mode.

Step 4. Select the content you want to print.

Step 5. Tag the mobile device over the printer’s NFC tag again. The mobile device will connect to the printer.

Step 6. The printer starts printing.

AirPrint allows you to print wirelessly from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. First, ensure your printer is connected to the same network as your Apple device.

Step 1. Open the email, photo, web page, or document you want to print on your Apple device.

Step 2. Touch the action icon.

Step 3. Select your SAMSUNG XPRESS M2875 printer model name and set any options as needed.

Step 4. Touch the Print button to print.

First, you must register your printer with your Google account. Ensure the printer is connected to a network with Internet access.

Registering from the Chrome Browser:

Step 1. Open the Chrome browser and sign in to your Google account.

Step 2. Enter your printer’s IP address in the address bar and press Enter.

Step 3. Click Login in the upper right corner of the SyncThru™ Web Service page and log in (default ID: admin, password: sec00000).

Step 4. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Google Cloud Print.

Step 6. A confirmation pop-up window from Google will appear. Click “Finish printer registration”.

Once registered, you can print from any Google Cloud Print™ enabled application or device by selecting your SAMSUNG XPRESS M2875 from the printer list.
