What important notes should I be aware of before and during toner cartridge replacement for the Samsung Xpress SL-M2020 or SL-M2026 printer?
Before opening the top cover, close the output support first.
Do not use sharp objects such as a knife or scissors to open the toner cartridge package. They might scratch the drum of the cartridge.
If toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash clothing in cold water. Hot water sets toner into fabric.
Shake the toner cartridge thoroughly, it will increase the initial print quality.
Do not touch the green underside of the toner cartridge. Use the handle on the cartridge to avoid touching this area.
How do I replace the toner cartridge in my Samsung Xpress SL-M2020 or SL-M2026 printer?
Use these steps to replace the toner cartridge.
1. Open the lower tray (1) and lift the top cover (2).
2. Remove the used toner cartridge from the printer.
3. Remove the protective shield on the new toner cartridge.
4. Gently rock the toner cartridge back and forth to distribute the toner.
5. Grasp the new toner cartridge by the handle and install it in the printer.
6. Close the top cover.
