The Auto-Empty Dock for the ROBOROCK QV 35S FCC includes the following parts:

1. Place the Auto-Empty Dock on a hard, level surface against a wall. Ensure there is adequate clear space around it for the robot to navigate back to the dock (B1, B1-1).

2. Connect the power cable to the back of the dock and plug it into a suitable wall outlet. Store any excess cable neatly (B2, B2-1, B2-2).

3. Power on the ROBOROCK QV 35S FCC by pressing and holding the power button until the indicator light turns on (B2-3).

4. Place the robot onto the dock to charge. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with the contacts on the dock (B3, B3-1).

To clean the main brush, follow these steps:

1. Turn the robot vacuum upside down.

2. Press the two latches on the main brush cover to release it (D1-5).

3. Remove the main brush cover (D1-6).

4. Lift the main brush out of the robot (D1-7).

5. Remove the bearings from each end of the brush.

6. Use a cleaning tool or scissors to cut and remove any hair or debris tangled around the brush (D1-8, D1-9).

7. Reinstall the bearings, place the main brush back into its compartment, and securely clip the main brush cover back into place.

To clean the side brush:

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw holding the side brush in place (D2-1).

2. Remove the side brush and clean off any tangled hair or debris (D2-2).

3. Re-attach the side brush and tighten the screw.

1. Gently pull the omni-directional wheel and its axle out from the bottom of the robot (D3-1).

2. Rinse the wheel and the axle with water to remove any hair and dirt (D3-2).

3. Allow the parts to air dry completely.

4. Press the wheel and axle firmly back into place until they click (D4).

To clean the filter and dustbin:

1. Lift the top cover of the robot and remove the dustbin (D5-1).

2. Open the dustbin lid and remove the washable filter (D5-2).

3. Rinse the filter repeatedly under running water. Do not touch the filter surface with your hands or brushes (D5-3).

4. Shake off excess water from the filter and allow it to air dry for at least 24 hours (D5-4).

5. While the filter is drying, rinse the inside of the dustbin with water (D6-2).

6. Let the dustbin dry completely before reassembling (D6-3).

7. Once dry, reinstall the filter and place the dustbin back into the robot.

Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe all sensors and charging contacts. Do not use cleaning solutions or wet cloths.

On the Robot (D8):

Wipe the four Cliff Sensors on the bottom (D8-1).

Wipe the Wall Sensor on the side (D8-2).

Wipe the Charging Contacts on the bottom (D8-3).

Wipe the Carpet Sensor (D8-4, D8-5).

On the Auto-Empty Dock (D9):

Wipe the Charging Contacts on the dock base.

When the dust bag is full:

1. Open the top lid of the Auto-Empty Dock.

2. Lift the dust bag up and out by its cardboard handle. The handle will automatically seal the bag to prevent dust from escaping.

3. Dispose of the full bag.

4. Slide a new disposable dust bag into the slot until it is firmly in place (D10).

5. Close the dock lid.

If you are using the cyclonic dustbin instead of disposable bags:

1. Remove the dustbin from the dock base (D12-1).

2. Twist the cyclone separator counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it (D12-2).

3. Rinse both the dustbin and the cyclone separator with clean water (D12-3).

4. Allow all parts to air dry completely.

5. Once dry, reassemble the cyclone separator into the dustbin and place it back into the dock (D12-4).

If you suspect a blockage in the dock’s air duct:

1. Unplug the dock from the power outlet.

2. Remove the dock’s dustbin (D13-1).

3. Unscrew and remove the air duct cover located at the bottom of the dock (D13-2).

4. Visually inspect the air duct for any obstructions and clear them out. Wipe the duct and cover with a dry cloth.

5. Re-attach the air duct cover and tighten the screws.

6. Reinstall the dustbin (D13-3).
