To set up the docking station, follow these steps:

1. Place the docking station on a hard, level floor against a wall. Ensure the area around it is clear of obstacles.

2. Do not place the dock in cluttered areas or near stairs.

3. Attach the ramp to the front of the dock base.

4. Connect the power cable to the back of the docking station and plug it into a wall outlet.

5. Store the excess cable within the cable management slot on the back of the dock.

6. Remove the clean water tank, open the lid, fill it with water, and close the lid securely.

7. Re-insert the clean water tank into the docking station until it clicks into place.

8. Close the top lid of the docking station.

9. Place the ROBOROCK QR 798 FCC robot onto the docking station to power it on and begin charging. The status indicator light on the dock will illuminate.

Follow these steps to clean the main brush:

1. Turn the robot upside down.

2. Squeeze the latches on the main brush cover and remove it (D1-5).

3. Lift the main brush out of the robot (D1-6).

4. Remove the caps from both ends of the main brush (D1-7).

5. Use the cleaning tool’s blade to cut and remove any hair tangled around the brush (D1-8, D2-1).

6. Re-attach the caps to the ends of the main brush.

7. Re-insert the main brush into the robot, ensuring it is seated correctly (D1-9).

8. Lock the main brush cover back into place.

To clean the dustbin and washable filter:

1. Open the top cover of the robot and press the latch to remove the dustbin (D5-1).

2. Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a trash can (D5-2).

3. Remove the washable filter from the dustbin (D5-3).

4. Rinse the inside of the dustbin with clean water and let it dry completely (D5-4).

5. Repeatedly tap the washable filter to remove loose dust (D6-1).

6. Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water (D6-2).

7. Allow the filter to dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it. Do not use a wet filter (D6-3).

8. Once dry, place the filter back into the dustbin and reinstall the dustbin in the robot.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance. Here is how to clean various components:

Mop Cloth (D3):

1. Remove the mop bracket from the robot (D4).

2. Peel the mop cloth off the bracket (D3-1).

3. Rinse the mop cloth under running water and let it dry (D3-2).

Side Brush (D7):

1. Unscrew and remove the side brush (D7-1).

2. Clean any debris from the brush and its mounting point.

3. Reinstall and tighten the screw (D7-2).

Wheels and Sensors (D8):

1. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the Omni-directional wheel (D8-1), main wheels (D8-2), and the side brush (D8-3).

2. Wipe the charging contacts on the bottom of the robot (D8-4).

3. Wipe all the cliff sensors located on the bottom of the robot (D8-5).

To maintain the docking station, perform the following cleaning tasks:

Dock Base (D9):

Wipe the dock base, charging contacts, and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not pour water directly on the dock.

Dirty Water Tank (D10):

Remove the dirty water tank from the dock, open the lid, and empty the contents. Rinse the tank with clean water and reinstall it.

Water Filter (D11):

Remove the water filter located in the dock base. Rinse it under clean water to remove any debris and place it back.

High-Speed Maintenance Brush (D12):

1. Open the brush compartment cover (D12-1).

2. Remove the high-speed maintenance brush (D12-2).

3. Clean any debris from the brush and the compartment (D12-3).

4. Reinstall the brush and close the cover (D12-4).

Dock Base Tray (D13):

1. Press the latches on the sides to unlock and remove the dock base tray (D13-1).

2. Rinse the tray with water (D13-2).

3. Reinstall the tray into the dock base until it clicks into place (D13-3).
