To ensure proper operation of your ROBOROCK QR 5T7 FCC, place the dock according to these guidelines:

1. Position the dock on a hard, level floor, flat against a wall.

2. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 ft) of clearance on each side of the dock (B3-1).

3. Keep at least 1.5 meters (4.9 ft) of clear space in front of the dock (B3-3).

4. Make sure there is enough vertical space above the dock to remove the water tanks easily (B3-2).

5. Avoid placing the dock in areas with direct sunlight or where objects might block the dock’s location beacon.

6. Do not place the dock near stairs, ledges, or other drop-offs to prevent the robot from falling (B1-2).

Follow these steps to set up and power on your dock:

1. Place the dock on a level floor against a wall, following the placement guidelines.

2. Connect the power cable securely into the power port on the back of the dock (B2-1).

3. Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable wall outlet (B2-2).

4. Place the robot vacuum onto the dock to begin charging. The robot’s power indicator will light up, confirming it is charging (B2-3).

To prepare the dock for mopping, follow these steps:

1. Remove the clean water tank from the dock (B4-1).

2. Open the lid of the clean water tank, fill it with clean water, and then close the lid securely (C1).

3. Place the filled clean water tank back into its position on the dock.

4. Ensure the dirty water tank is also correctly installed in the dock. It should be empty before starting a cleaning cycle.

To install or replace the main brush, follow these instructions:

1. Turn the robot vacuum over to access its underside.

2. Press the two latches on the main brush cover simultaneously and lift the cover off (D1-6).

3. Pull the old main brush out of its compartment (D1-7).

4. Insert the new main brush, ensuring it is properly aligned (D1-8).

5. Replace the main brush cover, pressing down firmly until both latches click into place (D1-9).

Follow these steps to attach the mop cloth:

1. Slide the VibraRise mop cloth along the slot on the mop mount until it is evenly attached (D2-1).

2. Align the mop mount with the corresponding slots on the bottom of the robot and slide it into place until you hear a click, indicating it is secure (D2-2).

To maintain your robot’s suction power, empty and clean the dustbin regularly:

1. Lift the top cover of the robot vacuum.

2. Press the dustbin release latch and remove the dustbin (D3-1).

3. Open the dustbin lid and empty all contents into a trash can (D3-2, D5-2).

4. For a more thorough cleaning, you can rinse the inside of the dustbin with clean water after removing the filter (D5-3, D5-4). Let it air dry completely before reassembly.

Cleaning the filter is crucial for performance. Follow these steps:

1. Remove the dustbin from the robot and then remove the filter from the dustbin (D4).

2. Tap the filter to dislodge loose dust and debris (D6-1).

3. Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water to wash away remaining dirt (D6-2).

4. Important: Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it. Do not use heat to dry it, and avoid touching the filter mesh while it is wet (D6-3).

5. Once completely dry, place the filter back into the dustbin.

To keep the main brush working effectively:

1. Remove the main brush from the robot as instructed for replacement.

2. Use a cleaning tool or scissors to carefully cut and remove any hair, string, or debris that has become tangled around the brush and its bearings (D7-1).

3. Remove the caps on both ends of the brush and clean out any trapped hair or debris (D7-2).

4. Reassemble the brush caps and reinstall the main brush into the robot.

To ensure your ROBOROCK QR 5T7 FCC navigates and operates correctly, regularly wipe the following parts with a soft, dry cloth:

– The Wall Sensor on the side of the robot (D8-1).

– The Cliff Sensors on the bottom of the robot (D8-2).

– The Charging Contacts on the bottom of the robot (D8-3).

– The Omni-Directional Wheel at the front (D8-4).

– The Side Brush (remove it to clean any tangled hair or debris) (D8-5).

To ensure a good charging connection, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the charging contacts on both the robot vacuum (D8-3) and the dock (D9). It is important to use a dry cloth only; do not use a wet cloth or any cleaning solutions, as this could damage the components.

Regular maintenance of the dock is essential for the mopping function. Follow these steps:

1. Empty Dirty Water Tank: Remove the dirty water tank, open the lid, pour out the contents, and rinse the tank with clean water before replacing it (D10).

2. Clean High-Speed Maintenance Brush: Release the maintenance brush latch, remove the brush, clean it of any dirt or debris, and reinstall it securely (D11, D12-1).

3. Clean the Dock Base: With the maintenance brush removed, use a cloth to wipe the mop washboard and the surrounding area inside the dock base to remove any accumulated grime (D12-2, D12-3, D12-4).

4. Clean the Water Filter: Lift the water filter out of the dock base (D13-1). Rinse it thoroughly under running water to clear any blockages (D13-2). Place the clean filter back into its slot (D13-3).
