To ensure optimal performance of your ROBOROCK QR 598 FCC, follow these placement guidelines for the docking station:

• Place the dock on a hard and level floor, not on carpet (B1, B1-1).

• Position it flat against a wall.

• To prevent the robot from falling, maintain a distance of at least 4m (13ft) from stairs (B1-2).

• Ensure there is adequate clearance around the dock: more than 0.5m (1.6ft) on both sides and more than 1.5m (4.9ft) in front (B3, B3-1, B3-2, B3-3).

• Place the dock in an area with a good WiFi signal and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

1. Connect the power cable to the back of the docking station and store the excess cable in the provided slot (B2-1).

2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a wall outlet (B2-2).

3. Place the robot vacuum onto the docking station to turn it on and begin charging. The status indicator light will illuminate (B2-3).

4. Remove the Clean Water Tank, open the lid, fill it with clean water, close the lid, and reinstall it in the dock (B4, B4-1).

5. Ensure the Dirty Water Tank is empty and correctly installed (C1).

2. Press the latches on the main brush cover to release and remove it (D1-5).

3. Lift the main brush out (D1-6).

4. Remove the end caps from both sides of the brush (D1-7).

5. Clean any hair and debris tangled around the brush and in the bearings (D1-8).

6. Re-attach the end caps, insert the main brush back into its compartment, and securely lock the cover in place (D1-9).

1. Turn the robot upside down.

2. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw securing the side brush (D2-1).

3. Pull the side brush off to clean it of any tangled hair or debris (D2-2).

4. After cleaning, re-attach the side brush and secure it with the screw.

1. Slide the mop cloth mounts off from the bottom of the robot (D3-1).

2. Peel the mop cloths off of the mounts.

3. Wash the mop cloths with clean water and let them air dry completely before reattaching (D3-2).

2. Use a small, flat tool to gently pry out the omni-directional (front) wheel and its axle (D4).

3. Clean any hair and dirt from the wheel and the axle.

4. Press the wheel and axle assembly firmly back into place until it clicks.

Dustbin Cleaning:

1. Open the robot’s top cover and press the latch to remove the dustbin (D5-1).

2. Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into the trash (D5-2).

3. Rinse the dustbin thoroughly with clean water. Do not use any soap or detergents (D5-4).

4. Allow the dustbin to dry completely before putting it back in the robot.

Filter Cleaning:

1. Remove the filter from the dustbin (D5-3).

2. Tap the filter against a surface to dislodge dust (D6-1).

3. Rinse the filter under running water. Do not scrub or touch the filter surface with brushes or sharp objects (D6-2).

4. Let the filter air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it (D6-3).
