The controls are located on the right side of your JVC HA-S190BT headphones. Here is how to use them:

Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the POWER/BASS button for 3 seconds.

BASS Mode: Press the POWER/BASS button once to switch between NORMAL and BASS mode.

Volume Control: Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to adjust the volume.

Play / Pause: Press the ►II button once.

Skip to Next Track: Press the ►II button twice (x2).

Skip to Previous Track: Press the ►II button three times (x3).

Answer / End a Call: Press the ►II button once.

Reject a Call / Switch between Phone and Headphones: Press and hold the ►II button for 1 second.

Activate Voice Guidance: Press and hold the ►II button for 2 seconds.

Please note that this unit cannot guarantee the operation of all remote control functions depending on the device type.

To pair your JVC HA-S190BT headphones, follow these steps:

1. Start with the headphones powered off.

2. Press and hold the POWER button. If you are using them for the first time, hold it for 3 seconds. For subsequent pairings, hold it for 7 seconds.

3. Continue holding the button until the indicator light starts blinking blue and red.

4. Enable Bluetooth on your device and select “JVC HA-S190BT” from the device list.

5. During the pairing process, if your device requires a PIN code, enter “0000”.

To charge your JVC HA-S190BT headphones, connect the included charging cable to the charging terminal on the headphones. When charging, be sure to use a USB to AC adapter with a DC 5V power output to avoid malfunction or abnormal heat generation.

When the headphones are almost out of charge, they will beep every 4 minutes.

If the System does not work correctly, charge the System to reset it.

If no BLUETOOTH device is connected for about 5 minutes, the JVC HA-S190BT System automatically turns itself off to save power.

The LED indicator shows the status of the headphones. The colors blue (🔵) and red (🔴) indicate the following:

Hearing Comfort and Well-Being

• Do not play your personal audio at a high volume. Hearing experts advise against continuous extended play.

• If you experience a ringing in your ears, reduce volume or discontinue use.

Traffic Safety

• Do not use while operating a motorized vehicle. It may create a traffic hazard and is illegal in many areas.

• You should use extreme caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations.

• Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear sound around you.

General Cautions

• To reduce the risk of electrical shocks or fire, do not remove screws, cover or cabinet, and do not expose the appliance to rain or moisture.

• Do not disassemble or modify the unit.

• Do not allow flammable, water or metallic objects to enter the unit.

• In dry air conditions such as in winter, you may feel some static shock when using the headphones.

• Should you start to feel ill while using the headphones, you should stop using them immediately.

• Be sure that your hair or any other objects do not get caught in the headband slider (adjuster) when adjusting the headband.

Avoid using the headphones in:

• places subject to excessive humidity or dust.

• places subject to extremely high (over 40 °C or 104 °F) or low (under 5 °C or 41 °F) temperatures.

DO NOT leave the headphones:

• exposed to direct sunlight.

• near a heater.

To protect the headphones, DO NOT:

• allow them to get wet.

• shake them or drop them against hard objects.

Ear Pad Maintenance:

The ear pads will wear out earlier than the other parts even in normal use or in normal storage due to the material characteristics. For replacement of the ear pads, consult with the dealer where you purchased the headphones.
