How do I update the system software on my HONOR X6c?
You can update your HONOR X6c’s system online when an update is available.
1. Go to Settings > System & updates > Software update, and touch Check for updates.
2. When an update is available, you have two options:
– Manually Download and Install: Go to New version > DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL. It is recommended to connect to a Wi-Fi network to avoid data usage. Your phone will automatically restart once the update is complete.
– Update Overnight: Touch the settings icon and enable Auto-download over Wi-Fi and Update overnight. Your phone will automatically update and restart between 02:00 – 04:00. For this to work, ensure your phone is powered on, the screen is locked, no alarms are set for this period, and the battery is above 35% (or connected to a charger).
To disable automatic updates, go to the Software update screen, touch the settings icon, and disable Auto-download over Wi-Fi.
