To use full-screen navigation gestures on your HONOR MAGIC5 5G, first go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation and ensure Gestures is selected. The gestures are as follows:

Return to the previous screen: Swipe inward from the left or right edge of the screen.

Return to the home screen: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.

Access multitasking screen: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and hold.

End a task: In the multitasking screen, swipe up on the task card.

Switch apps: Swipe along the bottom edge of the screen. You may need to first go to System navigation, tap Settings, and ensure Slide across bottom to switch apps is turned on. Alternatively, you can swipe in an arc along the bottom edge of the screen.

To enable knuckle gestures on your HONOR MAGIC5 5G, go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures and enable the desired features like Take screenshot and Record screen.

Take a screenshot: Knock twice on the screen with one knuckle.

Take a scrollshot (scrolling screenshot): Knock on the screen with a knuckle and draw an “S”.

Capture part of the screen: Knock and draw an enclosed area with a knuckle.

Record screen: Knock twice on the screen with two knuckles to start or end a screen recording.

Here are some additional gestures and button shortcuts for your HONOR MAGIC5 5G:

Enter home screen customization mode: Pinch with two fingers on the home screen.

Enable lockscreen quick access panel: While the screen is locked, tap the screen and swipe up from the bottom with one finger.

Open quick access and notifications: Swipe down from the top of the screen.

Power off/Restart: Long press the power button until the Power off and Restart menus appear, then tap the corresponding menu.

Volume up: Press the volume up button.

Volume down: Press the volume down button.

Screenshot: Press the volume down button and the power button simultaneously.

You can choose between gesture navigation, three-key navigation, or a navigation dock on your HONOR MAGIC5 5G.

Use gesture navigation: Go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation and select Gestures.

Use Three-Key Navigation: Go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation, and select Three-key navigation. You can then use the on-screen keys to go back, go to the home screen, and access recent tasks. You can touch Settings within this menu to configure key combinations.

Use the Navigation Dock: Go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation > More, and enable Navigation dock. A floating dock button will appear. You can drag it, touch it to go back, touch and hold to go home, or touch, hold, and swipe to view recent tasks.

Device Clone allows you to transfer basic data like contacts, calendar, images, and videos from your old phone to your new HONOR MAGIC5 5G.

Migrate Data from an Android Device:

1. On your new HONOR MAGIC5 5G, open the Device Clone app (or go to Settings > System & updates > Device Clone). Touch This is the new device, then touch Honor devices or Other Android devices.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install Device Clone on your old device.

3. On your old device, open the Device Clone app and touch This is the old device. Follow the instructions to connect the two devices by scanning a code or connecting manually.

4. On your old device, select the data you want to clone, then touch Transfer to begin. (Note: The old device must be running Android 7.0 or later).

Migrate Data from an iPhone or iPad:

1. On your new HONOR MAGIC5 5G, open the Device Clone app. Touch This is the new device, then touch iPhone/iPad.

2. Follow the instructions to download and install Device Clone on your old device.

3. On your old device, open the Device Clone app and touch This is the old device. Follow instructions to connect by scanning a code or connecting manually.

4. On your old device, select the data you want to clone and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. (Note: The old device must be running iOS 8.0 or later).

Lock the Screen:

The screen will lock automatically after a period of inactivity. To manually lock it:

• Press the power button.

• Pinch two fingers on the home screen to enter the editing interface, tap Cards, swipe up to find Classic widgets, and tap Screen Lock to add a lock widget to your screen.

Turn On the Screen:

• Press the Power button.

• Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Wake screen, and enable Raise to wake or Double-tap to wake.

Unlock the Screen:

• With Password: Once the screen is on, swipe up from the middle to display the password input panel and enter your lock screen password.

• With Face Unlock: Turn on the screen and align it with your face. The phone will unlock once your face is recognized.

• With Fingerprint Unlock: With the screen on, touch the fingerprint icon on the screen with an enrolled finger.

Connect to Mobile Data:

1. Ensure mobile data is available on your SIM card.

2. Connect by either:

• Swiping down from the status bar to open the notification panel, swiping down again to show all shortcuts, and turning on Mobile data.

• Going to Settings > Mobile network > Mobile data, and enabling Mobile data.

Enable 5G:

5G offers higher data transfer rates and shorter latency. Please note that 5G services are only available in some regions and not all devices support it.

1. Confirm your SIM card supports 5G with your network carrier and have them enable the service.

2. If you have two SIM cards inserted, go to Settings > Mobile network > SIM management and set the SIM you want to use for data as the default. If only one SIM supports 5G, it must be set as the default data card to use 5G.

Enable Dual SIM 5G:

If both of your SIM cards support 5G, you can enable it on both simultaneously.

1. Go to Settings > Mobile network > Mobile data > More.

2. Turn on Dual SIM 5G.

If your HONOR MAGIC5 5G has two SIM cards inserted, you can configure the following settings:

Set Default Mobile Data and Calling SIM: Go to Settings > Mobile network > SIM management and set SIM 1 or SIM 2 as the default for mobile data or calls.

Enable Call Forwarding Between SIMs: This feature forwards calls to your other SIM if one is unreachable. This requires carrier support.

1. Go to Settings > Mobile network > SIM management > Call forwarding between SIMs.

2. Select a call forwarding mode and turn on the corresponding switch.

Quickly Switch the Default Mobile Data SIM:

1. Swipe down from the status bar to show all shortcuts. Turn on Mobile data.

2. Touch the text under the Mobile data icon until a prompt appears, then select a SIM card and touch OK.

You can share your phone’s mobile data or Wi-Fi connection using a personal hotspot, Bluetooth, or USB.

Share via Personal Hotspot:

Go to Settings > Mobile network > Personal hotspot and enable Personal hotspot. You can then set the device name, password, and view connected devices. You can also set a data limit and AP band.

Share via Bluetooth Tethering:

1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and enable it. Pair your phone with the other device.

2. Go to Settings > Mobile network > Personal hotspot > More, and enable Bluetooth tethering.

3. On the paired device’s Bluetooth settings, tap next to your phone’s name and enable Internet access.

Share via USB Tethering:

1. Use a USB cable to connect your phone to a computer.

2. On your phone, go to Settings > Mobile network > Personal hotspot > More, and enable USB tethering.

VoLTE (Voice over LTE) provides fast call connection times and high-quality voice and video calls.

Enable VoLTE:

Contact your carrier to activate the VoLTE service for your SIM card. If your phone has dual SIMs and both support VoLTE, it can be enabled for both. If your device supports a 5G network, enabling 5G will typically enable the VoLTE feature by default.

Make a Video Call:

Video calls are only possible when both parties are using VoLTE-activated devices.

1. Open the Phone app and touch the Contacts tab.

2. Select the contact you want to call and touch the video call icon to start the call.

3. During a regular voice call, you can also touch the video icon to switch to a video call.

1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and enable Wi-Fi.

2. Connect to a network using one of the following methods:

• Select a network from the Available networks list. A password is required for encrypted networks.

• To manually add a network, scroll to the bottom, touch Add network, and enter the SSID (network name) and password.

A Wi-Fi icon in the status bar indicates that the phone is connected.

Wi-Fi Direct allows you to transfer large files to a nearby HONOR device more quickly than Bluetooth without pairing.

1. On the receiving device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and enable Wi-Fi.

2. On the receiving device, go to More settings > Wi-Fi Direct to start searching for nearby devices.

3. On the sending device, touch and hold to select the files you want to share, touch the share icon, and select Wi-Fi Direct.

4. Touch the icon of the receiving device to establish a connection and share the files.

5. On the receiving device, accept the transfer request. The received files can be found in Files > Browse > Phone > Download > Wi-Fi Direct.

View Notifications: When you have a notification, unlock the screen and swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel and view it.

Clear Notifications:

• Remove a single notification by swiping right on it.

• Touch the clear icon to clear all notifications. Note that some system notifications or notifications from apps running in the foreground cannot be cleared.

Manage Notification Display:

To avoid being disturbed by certain notifications, swipe left on the notification you want to manage, and tap the settings icon. You can then select:

• USE GENTLE NOTIFICATIONS

• DISABLE NOTIFICATIONS

• More settings

Adjust Volume with Buttons: Press the Volume up or down button.

Mute When Ringing: When your phone rings for a call or alarm, press the Power button to mute it.

Change Ringtone and Vibration:

1. Go to Settings > Sounds & vibration and tap Phone ringtone or Notification tone.

2. Select a system ringtone or tap Music on device to choose a local song. For a dual-SIM phone, you can set ringtones for each SIM separately.

3. Tap Vibration and select a vibration mode. Synchronized (default) will vibrate with the ringtone’s rhythm.

Toggle Sound Modes with Shortcuts: Swipe down from the status bar to show the notification panel and swipe down again. Tap the Sound, Silent, or Vibration icons to toggle between modes.

Flip to Mute: To mute an incoming call by flipping the phone over, go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Mute ringtone/Reduce volume and ensure Flip to mute ringtone is on.

Set Default Volumes: Go to Settings > Sounds & vibration to set the default volume for Ringer, Alarms, Music, and Calls.

Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the device vibrates and displays the logo.

Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds, then touch Power off and Touch to power off.

Restart: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds, then touch Restart and Touch to restart.

Forcefully Restart: If your phone is not working or turning off normally, press and hold the Volume down and Power buttons for more than 10 seconds to force a restart.

Multi-screen Collaboration allows for cross-device control, file sharing, and file editing. You can connect your phone and PC in several ways:

Connect via HONOR Share OneHop:

1. Ensure the PC supports the feature and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and PC Manager enabled.

2. On your phone, enable NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

3. Place the NFC area on the back of your phone against the HONOR Share label on the PC until your phone vibrates or plays a tone.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect.

Connect via Bluetooth Search:

1. On your phone, enable Bluetooth.

2. Open PC Manager (version 10.0 or later) on the PC, go to Multi-screen Collaboration > Phone Collaboration > Other ways to connect, and select to search for your phone. Place your phone near the PC keyboard.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connect with a USB Cable:

1. Connect your phone and PC with a USB cable.

2. Open PC Manager (version 10.1 or later) on the PC.

3. Confirm the connection on your phone.

Once connected, you can drag and drop files between devices, edit phone files on the PC, and answer phone calls through the PC.

You can connect your HONOR MAGIC5 5G to a Windows PC using the Link to Windows feature to manage notifications, photos, calls, and files.

1. On your phone, go to Settings > More connections > Link to Windows.

2. The first time you use it, tap Link your phone and PC. On your Windows PC, open a browser and follow the instructions to get a QR code.

3. Scan the QR code on the PC screen with your phone and follow the prompts to complete the connection.

4. In subsequent uses, simply enable Link to Windows on your phone to connect.

This function requires both the phone and PC to be connected to the internet.

You can connect your phone and an Honor tablet for cross-device operations. Note that only some Honor tablets support this feature.

Connect over Bluetooth:

1. On your tablet, swipe down from the status bar and enable Multi-Screen Collaboration.

2. On your phone, swipe down from the status bar and enable Bluetooth.

3. Hold your phone close to your tablet and follow the on-screen instructions to connect.

Scan QR code to connect:

1. On your tablet, enable Multi-Screen Collaboration, and on the collaboration screen, touch Scan to connect.

2. Ensure your phone is connected to the Internet, and connect as prompted.

Once connected, you can display your phone screen on the tablet, use phone apps, drag files, and edit files from your phone on the tablet.

You can project your screen wirelessly or with a wired connection.

Project Wirelessly:

1. Check if your large display supports Miracast. If it does, turn on its wireless projection switch. If not, connect a wireless HDMI adapter to it.

2. On your phone, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel and turn on Wi-Fi.

3. Swipe down again to show all shortcuts and enable Wireless Projection. Your phone will search for available display devices.

4. In the device list, touch the name of your large display or wireless HDMI adapter to connect.

Project Using a Wired Connection:

You can use a Type-C cable (Type-C to HDMI, DP, or MiniDP) or a docking station.

1. Connect one end of the Type-C cable to your phone and the other end to the large display.

2. On the external display, set the corresponding input (HDMI, DP, or MiniDP) as the signal source.

When using a docking station, connect the phone and display to the station, and you can also connect a wired keyboard and mouse.

HONOR Share is a wireless sharing technology for quickly transferring files between devices.

Enable or Disable HONOR Share:

• Swipe down from the status bar to show all shortcuts, then turn HONOR Share on or off. You can also touch and hold the icon to access its settings.

• Go to Settings > More connections > HONOR Share to enable or disable it.

Share Files Between Phones:

1. On the receiving device, enable HONOR Share.

2. On the sending device, touch and hold a file or album to select it, tap the share icon, tap HONOR Share, then tap the name of the receiving device.

3. On the receiving device, tap ACCEPT.

One-Touch Printing with HONOR Share:

When a supported printer is nearby, you can print pictures or PDF files from your phone.

1. Ensure the printer is powered on and connected (via Wi-Fi, WiFi Direct, or discoverable via Bluetooth).

2. On your phone, preview the file to be printed, then go to Share > HONOR Share.

3. Once the printer is discovered, touch its name, adjust settings on the preview screen, and touch PRINT.

The HONOR MAGIC5 5G offers various modes and features for photography.

Burst Photos: In PHOTO mode with the rear camera, touch and hold the shutter button or a Volume button to take a sequence of photos.

Timed Photos: Go to Camera > (Settings) > Timer and select a countdown. The phone will take a photo after the countdown ends.

Voice Control: Go to Camera > (Settings) > Audio control. You can set it to take a photo when you say a keyword (like “cheese”) or when it detects a loud sound.

Gesture Control (Selfies): In PHOTO or PORTRAIT mode with the front camera, tap the gesture icon. Raise your palm towards the camera to trigger a 2-second countdown and take a photo.

Night Mode: Select Night mode for sharper, brighter photos in low light. Keep the phone steady until the exposure countdown finishes.

Wide Aperture Photos: Select APERTURE mode to shoot photos with a blurred background. Touch the screen to focus, then touch the aperture icon and drag the slider to adjust the blur effect.

Panoramic Photos: Go to Camera > MORE > Panorama. Touch the shutter button and move the camera in the direction of the on-screen arrow to capture a wide photo.

Super Macro: Go to Camera > MORE > Super macro to shoot close-ups of small objects. Alternatively, in PHOTO mode, move the camera very close to an object, and it may automatically switch to Super macro mode.

Story Mode: Create an engaging video with templates.

1. Go to Camera > MORE > Story.

2. Touch a template to preview it, then touch the start button.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to take several shots. The phone will automatically splice them into a video clip with music.

Slow-Mo Videos: Capture fleeting moments in detail.

1. Go to Camera > MORE > Slow-mo.

2. Touch the speed icon (e.g., 4x or 8x) to select the slow-motion speed.

3. Touch the record button to start and stop recording.

Time-Lapse Videos: Condense a long period into a short video.

1. Go to Camera > MORE > TIME-LAPSE.

2. Place your phone in a stable position (a tripod is recommended).

3. Touch the record button to start and stop recording.

Gallery offers a wide range of editing features.

Basic Editing:

1. Open Gallery, touch the thumbnail of the photo you want to edit, then touch the edit icon.

• Crop and rotate: Touch Crop, select a frame, and drag the grid. Drag the angle wheel to rotate.

• Add a filter: Touch Filter and select one.

• Adjust effects: Touch Adjust to change brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.

• Other: Touch More for features like color splash, blur, doodle, or label.

2. Touch the save icon to save your edits.

Add Stickers: In the editing screen, go to More > Stickers, select a sticker type (Time, Weather, Mood), and drag it to position it.

Pixelate Photos: In the editing screen, go to More > Mosaic. Select a mosaic style and size to cover parts of the photo. Use Eraser to remove the mosaic.

Add Albums:

1. Go to Gallery > Albums.

2. Touch the plus icon, name the album, then touch OK.

3. Select the photos or videos you want to add to the new album.

Sort Albums:

1. In the Albums tab, go to the menu icon and touch Sort albums.

2. Drag the icon next to an album to move it to the desired position.

Hide Albums:

1. In the Albums tab, tap an album, then long press to select the picture or video you want to hide.

2. Tap the menu icon > Hide > OK.

3. To view hidden items, go to the Albums tab, tap the menu icon > Hidden items.

Block Albums: To prevent third-party app albums from being displayed in Gallery, touch the album you want to block in the Others list, then go to the menu > Block.

Take a Screenshot:

• Knuckle Screenshot: Knock the screen twice with one knuckle (ensure this is enabled in Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Take screenshot).

• Key Combination: Press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons simultaneously.

• Shortcut Button: Swipe down from the status bar to access the notification panel and tap the screenshot icon.

Take a Scrolling Screenshot (Scrollshot): After taking a regular screenshot, a thumbnail appears. Swipe down on the thumbnail to start a scrolling screenshot. Alternatively, use the knuckle gesture: knock and draw an “S” on the screen.

Take a Partial Screenshot: Knock on the screen with a knuckle and hold to draw an outline around the part of the screen you want to capture.

Record Screen:

• Key Combination: Press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons simultaneously.

• Shortcut: Swipe down from the status bar to show all shortcuts and touch Screen Recorder.

• Two Knuckles: Knock the screen twice with two knuckles (ensure this is enabled in Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Record screen).

To record your voice during a screen recording, tap the microphone icon after starting the recording.

Multi-Window allows you to open apps in a split screen or floating window.

Enable Split-Screen Mode:

1. Open an app.

2. Swipe inward from the left or right edge of the screen and hold to bring up the Multi-Window dock.

3. Drag an app icon out of the Multi-Window dock to open it in split-screen.

Drag and Drop Between Apps: You can drag and drop images, text, and documents between the two apps in split-screen view.

Manage the Multi-Window Dock:

• To add an app, touch the plus icon in the dock, select the app, and touch Done.

• To move or remove an app, touch the plus icon, then drag the app to a new location or tap the remove icon on its corner.

Switch Between Split-Screen and Floating Window:

• Split-screen to floating window: Touch and hold the bar at the top of a split-screen pane and drag it to the side (in Portrait mode) or to the bottom edge (in Landscape mode).

• Floating window to split-screen: Touch and hold the bar at the top of the floating window and drag it to the upper/lower part of the screen (in Portrait mode) or to the left/right (in Landscape mode).

Uninstall an App:

• On the home screen, touch and hold the app icon, then touch Uninstall.

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, touch the app, then touch Uninstall. (Some system apps cannot be uninstalled).

Manage Background Apps:

1. Access the recent tasks screen by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and holding (if using Gestures) or touching the recent tasks key (if using Three-key navigation).

2. From here you can swipe to view app previews, tap a preview to open an app, swipe up to close an app, or swipe down to lock an app so it isn’t closed in batches.

Clear the Cache of an App:

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, select the app, then go to Storage > CLEAR CACHE.

App Twin allows you to log in to two different accounts for the same app (e.g., WhatsApp or Facebook) simultaneously. Note that only certain apps support this feature.

To enable it, go to Settings > Apps > App Twin and toggle on the switch for a supported app. A twin of that app will be created and displayed on the home screen.

Set Your Wallpaper:

• Preset Wallpaper: Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Wallpaper. Touch an image, adjust options like Blur or Scrollable, and touch APPLY.

• Image from Gallery: Open Gallery, open the image you want, go to the menu > Set as > Wallpaper, and follow the instructions.

Manage the Home Screen Layout:

• Rearrange icons: Touch and hold an icon until it enlarges, then drag it to a new position.

• Auto-align icons: Pinch two fingers on the home screen to access settings, then enable Auto-align. This fills empty spaces automatically when apps are removed.

• Lock layout: In the home screen settings, enable Lock layout to prevent icons from being moved.

Use App Drawer: To store your apps in a drawer instead of on the home screens, go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Home screen style, and select Drawer.

Use Eye Comfort Mode: This mode reduces harmful blue light and displays warmer colors to relieve eye fatigue.

• Turn on/off: Swipe down from the status bar for shortcuts and tap Eye Comfort. Or, go to Settings > Display & brightness > Eye Comfort & Sleep and turn on Enable all day.

• Schedule: In the Eye Comfort & Sleep settings, turn on Scheduled and set the Start and End times.

Enable Dark Mode: This feature uses a dark color scheme to reduce screen brightness.

• Turn on/off: Swipe down for shortcuts and tap Dark mode. Or, go to Settings > Display & brightness and tap Dark to enable or Light to disable.

• Schedule: In Display & brightness settings, turn on Auto-switch and tap Schedule. You can choose From sunset to sunrise or set a Custom time.

Set up Fingerprint ID:

1. Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Fingerprint ID and enter your lock screen password.

2. Tap New fingerprint > ADD FINGERPRINT.

3. Place your finger on the in-screen fingerprint sensing area. Press and release, repeating with different sections of your finger until enrollment is complete.

Set up Face Recognition:

1. Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Face Recognition, and enter your lock screen password.

2. Select Enable raise to wake for a better experience.

3. Touch GET STARTED and follow the on-screen instructions to enroll your facial data.

Set the Lock Screen Password:

1. Go to Settings > Biometrics & password and touch Lock screen password.

2. Enter a 6-digit password. Alternatively, touch CHANGE UNLOCK METHOD to select a different password type (e.g., pattern).

You can manage your phone’s battery life in Settings > Battery.

Enable Power Saving Mode: This mode restricts background apps and visual effects to reduce power consumption. Go to Settings > Battery and enable Power Saving mode. It is recommended when the battery is below 20%.

Enable Performance Mode: This mode adjusts settings for maximum performance but will drain the battery more quickly. In the Battery settings, enable Performance mode. (This feature is available on select devices only).

Enable Smart Charge: This feature learns your charging habits to reduce battery wear by managing the charging process, especially for overnight charging. Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings and enable Smart Charge.

Display Battery Percentage: Go to Settings > Battery, touch Battery percentage, and select whether to display it inside or next to the battery icon.

App Lock lets you lock apps containing private data to prevent unauthorized access.

Enable App Lock:

Go to Settings > Security > App Lock > ENABLE. Follow the on-screen instructions to set the App Lock password and select the apps you want to lock. If you have face or fingerprint unlock enabled, you can link it to App Lock for easier access.

Change the App Lock Password:

Enter the App Lock settings screen, go to the settings icon > Password type, and select Lock screen password or Custom PIN.

Cancel or Disable App Lock:

• Cancel for specific apps: On the list of locked apps, toggle off the switches beside the apps you want to unlock.

• Disable completely: Go to the settings icon > DISABLE APP LOCK > DISABLE. This will cancel all locks and clear all App Lock settings.

You can add multiple user accounts or a guest account to your phone.

Add a User or Guest Account:

1. Go to Settings > Users & accounts > USERS > Current user.

2. Touch Add user or Add guest, then follow the on-screen instructions to add the account.

Switch Between Accounts:

• Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, touch the user icon, then touch the profile picture of the account you wish to switch to.

• Go to Settings > Users & accounts > USERS > Current user, and touch the name of the account.

Delete a User or Guest Account:

As the owner, go to Settings > Users & accounts > USERS > Current user, touch the name of the account you wish to delete, then follow the on-screen instructions.

There are several types of resets available on your HONOR MAGIC5 5G.

Reset Network Settings: This will reset your Wi-Fi, mobile data network, and Bluetooth settings. It will not delete any other data. Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset, and touch Reset network settings.

Restore All Settings: This resets all network settings, your lock screen password, and the home screen layout. Enrolled fingerprints and facial data will also be deleted. Other data or files will not be deleted. Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset, and touch Reset all settings.

Restore Factory Settings (Factory Reset): This will erase all data on your phone, including your accounts, app data, system settings, installed apps, music, images, and all files in the internal storage. Make sure to back up your data before performing this action. Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset > Reset phone, touch Reset phone, and follow the on-screen instructions.

1. Go to Settings > System & updates > Software update, and touch Check for updates.

2. If an update is available, you can either manually download and install it or set it to update automatically overnight.

• Download and install now: Go to New version > DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL.

• Update overnight: Touch the settings icon, and enable Auto-download over Wi-Fi and Update overnight. Your phone will update and restart between 02:00 and 04:00, provided it is powered on, the screen is locked, no alarms are set for that period, and the battery is above 35%.

Before updating, it is recommended to back up your user data and ensure your phone is running an official system version.
