To use full screen navigation gestures on your HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9, first go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation and ensure Gestures is selected. Then, you can use the following gestures:

• Swipe along the bottom edge of the screen. Before using this, go to System navigation, tap Settings, and make sure Slide across bottom to switch apps is turned on.

• Swipe in an arc along the bottom edge of the screen.

To use Knuckle Gestures, first enable them by going to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures and enabling features like Take screenshot and Record screen. Once enabled, you can perform the following actions:

Take a screenshot: Knock twice on the screen with one knuckle.

Take a scrollshot: Knock on the screen with a knuckle and draw an “S” to take a scrolling screenshot.

Capture part of the screen: Knock and draw an enclosed area with a knuckle to capture part of the screen.

Record screen: Knock twice on the screen with two knuckles to start or end a screen recording.

You can use several other gestures on your HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9 for quick access:

Enter home screen customization mode: Pinch with two fingers on the home screen.

Enable lockscreen quick access panel: While the screen is locked, tap the screen and swipe up from the bottom with one finger.

Open quick access and notifications: Swipe down from the top of the screen.

The physical buttons on your HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9 have the following functions:

Power off/Restart: Long press the power button until the Power off and Restart menus appear, then tap the corresponding menu.

Volume up: Press the volume up button.

Volume down: Press the volume down button.

Screenshot: Press the volume down button and the power button simultaneously.

You can choose between two system navigation modes on your HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9:

Use gesture navigation:

Go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation and select Gestures. You can then:

• Return to the parent menu: Swipe inward from the left or right edge of the screen.

• Return to the home screen: Swipe up from the middle of the bottom edge of the screen.

• Access multitasking: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and pause.

• Close a task: In the multitasking interface, swipe up on a task card.

Use Three-Key Navigation:

Go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation, and select Three-key navigation. You can then:

• Touch the back key to return to the previous menu or exit the current app.

• Touch the home key to return to the home screen.

• Touch the recent tasks key to access the recent tasks screen.

1. On your new HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9, open the Device Clone app. Alternatively, go to Settings > System & updates > Device Clone, touch This is the new device, then touch Honor or Other Android.

2. Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install Device Clone on your old device.

3. On your old device, open the Device Clone app and touch This is the old device. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your old device with your new phone by scanning a code or connecting manually.

4. On your old device, select the data you want to clone, then touch Transfer to start cloning.

Note: Device Clone is only available on phones running Android 7.0 or later.

1. On your new HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9, open the Device Clone app. Alternatively, go to Settings > System & updates > Device Clone, touch This is the new device, then touch iPhone/iPad.

2. Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install Device Clone on your old device.

3. On your old device, open the Device Clone app and touch This is the old device. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your old device with your new phone by scanning a code or connecting manually.

4. On your old device, select the data you want to clone, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the data cloning.

Note: Device Clone is only available on phones running iOS 8.0 or later.

Set the Screen Timeout Period:

Go to Settings > Display & brightness > Sleep and select a screen timeout period.

Turn On the Screen:

You can turn on the screen in any of the following ways:

• Press the Power button.

• Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Wake screen, and enable Raise to wake or Double-tap to wake.

You can unlock your screen using one of the following methods:

Unlock with Password: Once the screen is turned on, swipe up from the middle of the screen to display the password input panel. Then, enter your lock screen password.

Use Face Unlock: Turn on the screen and align it with your face. Your phone will unlock once your face is recognized.

Use Fingerprint Unlock: Once the screen is turned on, the fingerprint icon will display on the screen. Touch the icon with an enrolled finger to unlock the screen.

Display Your Signature on the Lock Screen:

Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper, touch Lock screen signature, then type text to display on the lock screen. To remove it, touch Lock screen signature again and delete the text.

Launch apps from the lock screen:

You can launch common apps, such as Camera, Calculator, and Timer from the lock screen.

• Light up the screen, touch and hold the Camera icon at the lower right corner and swipe up to open Camera.

• Light up the screen, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open the quick operation panel, tap an icon to launch the app. This includes Flashlight, Calculator, Timer, etc.

Add service cards by swiping up app icons:

Swipe up app icons that support service cards to unfold them, and tap the pin icon in the upper right corner of the card to pin it to the home screen.

Add service cards by editing the home screen:

Pinch two fingers on the home screen to enter the edit screen, tap Cards, select a service like Gallery or Weather, choose your preferred style, and tap ADD TO HOME SCREEN.

Set apps on the home screen as service cards:

Long press an app like Notepad, select Notepad cards in the pop-up list, choose a style, and tap SET AS EXPANDING CARD. The service card will appear the next time you swipe up on the app.

Set service card style:

Long press the Notepad app or a Notepad service card, select Notepad cards or More Notepad cards, choose your preferred style, and tap ADD TO HOME SCREEN.

Remove service cards:

Long press the service card, select Remove in the pop-up list, then tap REMOVE in the confirmation box.

Create big folders: Long press a standard folder and tap Enlarge. You can also long press the big folder to rename it.

Use big folders: Tap an app icon in the big folder to open it directly. If there are more than 9 apps, a layers icon appears in the lower right corner; tap it to expand the folder and view more apps.

Switch the display mode: Long press the big folder and tap Shrink to restore it to a standard folder.

The following table explains the common notification and status icons. Note that icons may vary by region and service provider.

Turn on a Shortcut Switch:

Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, then swipe down on it again to show all shortcuts.

• Touch a shortcut switch to enable or disable the corresponding feature.

• Touch and hold a shortcut switch to access the settings screen of that feature (supported by some features).

• Touch the settings icon to access the system settings screen.

Customize Shortcut Switches:

Touch the edit icon, then touch and hold a shortcut switch and drag it to the desired position.

Quickly Access Frequently Used App Features:

Touch and hold an app icon on the home screen until a pop-up menu is displayed, then touch a frequently used feature to access it. For example, touch and hold the Camera icon, then touch a shooting mode like Selfie or Video from the pop-up menu.

Add Frequently Used App Features to the Home Screen:

Touch and hold an app icon on your home screen to bring up the pop-up menu. Touch and hold the desired feature and drag it to your home screen to create a shortcut.

Use a Preset Wallpaper:

1. Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Wallpaper.

2. Touch an image you want to set as the wallpaper.

3. Set options like Blur (applies a blur effect) or Scrollable (enables the wallpaper to scroll on the home screen).

4. Touch the checkmark, then determine whether you’d like to set it as the wallpaper for the Lock screen, Home screen, or Both.

Set an Image from Gallery as Your Wallpaper:

1. Open Gallery, and open the image you want to set as your wallpaper.

2. Go to the menu (three dots) > Set as > Wallpaper, then follow the onscreen instructions.

You can take a screenshot using one of the following methods:

Use Your Knuckle:

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Take screenshot, and ensure that Knuckle screenshots is enabled.

2. Knock the screen twice in quick succession with one knuckle to take a screenshot.

Use a Key Combination:

Press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons simultaneously.

Use the Shortcut Button:

Swipe down from the status bar to access the notification panel, then tap the screenshot icon to take a full screenshot.

Take a Scrolling Screenshot:

There are two ways to take a scrolling screenshot:

• After taking a regular screenshot, a thumbnail will appear in the lower left corner. Swipe down on the thumbnail to start a scrolling screenshot.

• Tap the screen with one knuckle, keep it on the screen, and draw an “S” shape. The screen will automatically scroll down to take a screenshot. During scrolling, tap the scrolling area to stop.

Take a Partial Screenshot:

1. Knock on the screen with a knuckle and hold to draw an outline around the part of the screen you want to capture. Make sure your knuckle does not leave the screen.

2. The screen will display the movement trajectory and take a screenshot of the selected area. You can then drag the frame to resize it or touch a shape icon to change the shape.

3. Touch the save icon to save the screenshot.

You can start a screen recording using one of these methods:

Use a Key Combination: Press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons simultaneously to start screen recording. Press and hold both buttons again to stop.

Use a Shortcut:

1. Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, then swipe down again to show all shortcuts.

2. Touch Screen Recorder to start screen recording.

3. To stop, touch the timer at the top of the screen. The recording will be saved to Gallery.

Use Two Knuckles:

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Record screen, and ensure Record screen is enabled.

2. Knock the screen twice in quick succession with two knuckles to start. Knock twice again to stop.

To record your voice, touch the microphone icon after starting the recording to enable it.

View Notifications: When there is a notification reminder, unlock the screen and swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel and view it.

Clear Notifications:

• You can remove a notification by swiping right on it.

• You can touch the clear icon to clear all notifications.

Do not show notification: To not get disturbed by notifications, swipe left on the notification you want to process, tap the settings icon, and you can select:

• USE GENTLE NOTIFICATIONS

• DISABLE NOTIFICATIONS

• More settings

Adjust Volume: Press the Volume up or down button to adjust the volume.

Mute When Ringing: When your phone rings for a call or alarm, press the Power button to mute it.

Change Ringtone and Vibration:

1. Go to Settings > Sounds & vibration and tap Phone ringtone or Notification tone.

2. You can then:

• Set a ringtone: Select a system ringtone, or tap Music on device to select a local song.

• Set the vibration mode: Tap Vibration and select a mode. If you select Synchronized (default), the vibration will synchronize with the ringtone.

Toggle Ring, Vibration, or Silent Mode with Shortcuts:

1. Swipe down from the status bar to show the notification panel and continue swiping down to display the entire menu.

2. Tap Sound, Silent, or Vibration to toggle between modes.

Enable and Use Split-Screen Mode (Multi-Window):

1. Open an app, then swipe inward from the left or right edge and hold to bring up the Multi-Window dock.

2. Drag an app icon out of the Multi-Window dock to open it in split-screen.

To exit, touch and hold the line in the middle of the split screen and drag it until one pane disappears.

Use the Floating Window:

1. Swipe inward from the left or right edge and hold to bring up the Multi-Window dock.

2. Touch an app icon in the dock to open the app in a floating window.

You can then:

• Relocate: Drag the bar at the top of the window.

• Resize: Drag any corner of the window towards the center.

• Minimize: Touch the minimize icon at the top of the window to shrink it into a floating bubble.

• Close: Touch the close icon at the top of the window.

Enable Always On Display:

1. Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Always On Display, and enable Always On Display.

2. Set Display mode as prompted.

Customize Always On Display:

You can add personalized pictures, animations, signatures, artistic images, and different clock styles.

• Animated Display: In Always On Display > Images, select a picture or animation and tap APPLY.

• GIFs: In Images, tap the add icon, tap SELECT IMAGE, select a GIF, and tap APPLY.

• Artist’s Signature: In Graffiti, tap a signature style, enter text, customize it, and tap APPLY.

• Artistic Image: Under Artistic, choose a style, set the layout, and you can even extract colors from a photo by taking or selecting one.

• Clock Styles: Under Analog or Digital, swipe to browse styles, select one, and tap APPLY.

Wireless reverse charging is supported by devices that support the Wireless Charging Standard. Before using, ensure the battery level of your HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9 is higher than 20%.

1. Go to Settings > Battery, and enable Wireless reverse charging.

2. Power on the device to be charged, and place it on the center of the back of your phone. Do not place any metal objects between your phone and the device to be charged.

3. If the device does not start charging within 5 seconds, adjust its position and try again.

4. If the device to be charged is removed from the phone for more than 2 minutes during charging, Wireless reverse charging will automatically be disabled.

Project Wirelessly:

1. Prepare the large display. If it supports Miracast, turn on its wireless projection switch. If not, connect a wireless HDMI adapter to it.

2. On your phone, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, and turn on the wireless icon.

3. Swipe down again to show all shortcuts and enable Wireless Projection. Your phone will start searching for available display devices.

4. In the device list, touch the name corresponding to the large display or wireless HDMI adapter to connect.

Project Using a Wired Connection (Type-C Cable):

1. Prepare a Type-C cable (e.g., Type-C to HDMI, Type-C to DP).

2. Connect the Type-C end to your phone and the other end to the large display.

3. On the external display, set the corresponding input as the signal source.

Project Using a Docking Station:

1. Prepare a docking station with the necessary ports (e.g., HDMI, USB).

2. Connect your phone and the large display to the docking station. You can also connect a wired mouse and keyboard.

3. On the external display, set the corresponding input as the signal source.

After your phone screen is projected to a large display, go to the notification panel > Projection mode on your phone, and touch Desktop mode.

In Desktop mode, your phone and the large display work independently. You can use features like:

• Multi-window display: Open multiple windows at a time to multitask.

• File management: Save files to the desktop, create files or folders, and rename or delete files.

• Quick search: Search for documents and apps using the start menu search box.

• Quick app projection: Touch and hold an app icon on your phone to project and open the app on the large display.

To exit Desktop mode, go to > Projection mode and select Phone.

Connect by Using Bluetooth Search:

1. On your phone, swipe down from the status bar and enable Bluetooth.

2. Open PC Manager (version 10.0 or later) on your PC, go to Multi-screen Collaboration > Phone Collaboration > Other ways to connect, and select to search for your phone over Bluetooth.

3. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect.

Connect with a USB Cable:

1. Use a USB cable to connect your phone and PC.

2. On the PC, open PC Manager (version 10.1 or later).

3. Confirm to connect to the PC on your phone.

Drag and Drop Files:

After Multi-screen Collaboration is established, you can drag and drop files between your devices.

• From phone to PC: In the phone window on the PC, open Gallery or Files, select files, and drag them to a folder on your PC.

• From PC to phone: Drag a picture, video, or document from your PC to the Gallery or Files app in the phone window.

Use HONOR Share OneHop:

• Transfer pictures/videos from phone to PC: Select pictures/videos in Gallery on your phone, then place the NFC area of your phone against the HONOR Share detection area on the PC.

• Transfer a picture from PC to phone: Open a picture on your PC with Image Viewer, then place your phone against the PC’s HONOR Share area.

After connecting your phone and tablet for Multi-screen Collaboration, you can perform cross-device operations.

Access Phone Apps and Files from Your Tablet:

In the phone window on your tablet, you can:

• Open Phone to make a call by dialing a number.

• Open Messaging to view and reply to SMS messages.

• Open Gallery or Files to view photos, videos, and files from your phone.

Drag to Transfer Files Between Your Phone and Tablet:

1. Open Gallery or Files on either device, and touch and hold a picture, video, or document.

2. Select more files if needed, then drag them across to the other device when the dragging icon appears.

1. On the receiving device, enable HONOR Share.

2. On your sending HONOR MAGIC4 PRO 5G LGE-NX9, tap and hold to select a file or album you want to share, then tap the share icon.

3. Tap HONOR Share, then tap the name of the receiving device to send the file.

4. On the receiving device, tap ACCEPT to accept the transfer.

Received files can be found in Files > Phone > HONOR Share or in Gallery > Albums > HONOR Share.

1. Go to Tools > Smart Remote > Add (+), select the device type (such as TV, air conditioner, STB, etc.), and then the brand.

2. Point the infrared sensor on the top of your phone at the household appliance, and follow the onscreen instructions to add it to your remote control.

3. After adding the appliance, simply touch the power button icon to control it remotely.

There are multiple ways to open the Camera app:

From the Home Screen: From the home screen, open Camera.

From the Lock Screen: When the screen is locked, turn on the screen, then swipe up on the camera icon in the lower right corner to open the camera.

Portrait Mode:

1. Open Camera and select PORTRAIT mode.

2. Point the camera at your subject. You can tap the beauty icon to adjust the beauty effect or tap the bokeh icon to enable background bokeh.

3. Tap the shutter to take photos.

Take Night Shots:

1. Open Camera and select Night mode.

2. Steady your phone and touch the shutter button.

3. Your phone will adjust the exposure time. Keep your phone steady until the countdown finishes.

Take Wide Aperture Photos:

1. Open Camera and select APERTURE mode.

2. Touch where you want to focus. For best results, your phone needs to be within 2 m (about 7 ft.) of your subject.

3. Touch the aperture icon in the viewfinder and drag the slider to adjust aperture settings. A smaller aperture value creates a more blurred background.

4. Touch the shutter button to take a photo.

AI Photography helps you take better photos by intelligently identifying objects and scenes and optimizing the color and brightness settings accordingly.

1. Open Camera and select PHOTO mode.

2. Tap the AI icon to turn it on.

3. Frame the subject within the viewfinder. Once the camera identifies what you are shooting, it will automatically recommend a mode (such as food, beaches, or text).

4. To disable the recommended mode, tap the ‘x’ next to the mode text or turn off the AI icon.

Take Wide-Angle Photos (Rear Camera):

1. Open Camera and select PHOTO mode.

2. Ensure that AI is enabled. Aim the camera at a building or large scene, and the camera will automatically recommend Super wide angle mode. Touch Wide to use it.

3. You can also drag the zoom slider or pinch in or out to adjust the zoom level.

4. Touch the shutter button to take a photo.

Automatically Switch to Wide Angle for Selfies (Front Camera):

When the front camera detects multiple people in the frame, it will automatically switch to the wide angle to fit more people into your photo.

1. Open Camera, select PHOTO or PORTRAIT mode, then switch to the front camera.

2. Ensure that Bokeh is disabled in PORTRAIT mode.

3. When there are three or more people in the viewfinder, the camera will automatically switch to the widest angle. You can also drag the zoom slider to manually switch zoom levels.

4. Touch the shutter button to take a photo.

1. Go to Camera > MORE and select Panorama mode.

2. Touch the icon on screen and set the pan direction.

3. Point the camera at your starting point, then touch the shutter button to start shooting. Move the camera in the direction of the arrow displayed on the screen, keeping the arrow on the center line.

4. Touch the stop button when you are finished.

Shoot Photos in Documents Mode:

1. Go to Camera > MORE and select DOCUMENTS mode.

2. Frame the document you want to shoot within the viewfinder, then touch the shutter button.

3. The camera will automatically identify the text area, unskew the image, and remove any shadows.

Adjust the Text Area Manually:

If you are not satisfied with the automatic skew correction:

1. Go to Gallery > Albums > Camera, then touch the photo you wish to adjust.

2. Touch the document icon above the photo.

3. Drag the four corners to customize the correction area. Then touch the checkmark. Your phone will reshape the photo as a flat, rectangular image.

Pro mode gives you full control over settings like ISO, shutter speed, and focus.

In the PRO mode in the Camera app, you can adjust the following:

• Metering mode (M): Choose between Matrix, Center-weighted, or Spot metering.

• ISO sensitivity (ISO): Tap and drag the slider. Increase for low-light, decrease for well-lit environments.

• Shutter speed (S): Tap and drag the slider. Lower for stationary scenes, increase for moving scenes.

• Exposure compensation (EV): Tap and drag the slider to adjust brightness.

• Focus mode (AF): Choose between AF-S (Single), AF-C (Continuous), or MF (Manual focus).

• White balance (WB): Select a preset or adjust the color temperature manually.

To record videos in Pro mode, tap the video icon. You can also tap the LUT icon to select and apply a LUT filter.

Shoot Slow-Mo Videos:

1. Go to Camera > MORE and select Slow-mo mode.

2. Touch the speed setting (e.g., 4x or 8x) to select a speed.

3. Touch the record button to start recording.

4. Touch the stop button to end the recording.

Adjust the Slow-Mo Part in Videos:

1. Go to Gallery and select a slow-mo video.

2. Touch the play icon. During playback, touch the screen to display the editing area.

3. Drag the sliders to adjust the part you want to be played in slow motion.

Use Time-Lapse to Create a Short Video:

1. Go to Camera > MORE and select TIME-LAPSE mode.

2. Place your phone in a steady position, using a tripod if necessary.

3. Touch the record button to start, then touch the stop button to end the recording.

1. Go to Camera > MORE and select MULTI-VIDEO.

2. Tap the mode selection icon, then select a multi-video mode:

• Front/Rear: Split-screen view of front and rear cameras.

• Rear/Rear: Displays both a panoramic and a close-up view from the rear camera.

• Picture in Picture: The front view is in a small floating window over the rear view.

• Front or Rear: Only the front or rear view is displayed.

3. Tap the record button to start recording. During recording, you can tap or swipe up to enable the multi-video mode or tap the camera icon to take a picture of the current frame.

4. Tap the pause or stop button to pause or end recording.

1. Go to Camera > MORE and select Story mode.

2. Touch a template to preview the effect. Touch the start icon to begin.

3. Your phone will instruct you to take several shots. Touch the record button for each shot until all are recorded.

4. To shoot a different scene, exit the camera. Your shots are saved automatically and you can continue later.

5. When you are finished, your phone will automatically splice the shots and create a video clip with music.

6. When finished, touch the export icon to export the video to the Videos album.

You can adjust camera settings to take photos and videos more quickly. In the Camera app, tap the settings icon to access these options:

• Adjust the Aspect Ratio: Go to Camera > Settings > Aspect ratio and select an aspect ratio.

• Enable Location Tag: Enable Location tag to tag your location in photos and videos.

• Add Device Watermarks: Enable Add watermark. Photos and videos shot with the rear camera will have a device watermark added.

• Use the Assistive Grid: Enable Assistive grid to help you line up the perfect shot.

• Enable Mirror Reflection: When using the front camera, touch the settings icon to enable or disable Mirror reflection.

• Mute the Shutter Sound: Enable Mute to mute the camera shutter sound.

• Capture Smiles: Enable Capture smiles. The camera will take a photo automatically when it detects a smile.

• Use the Horizontal Level: Enable Horizontal level to display a horizontal guiding line on the viewfinder.

1. Open Gallery, touch the thumbnail of the photo you want to edit, then touch the edit icon to access the editing features.

• Crop and rotate: Touch Crop, select a frame, then drag the grid or its corners. To rotate, touch Crop and drag the angle wheel.

• Add a filter effect: Touch Filter to select a filter.

• Adjust photo effects: Touch Adjust to change brightness, contrast, saturation, and more.

• Other: Touch More to edit the photo in other ways, such as by adding a color splash, blur, doodle, or label.

2. Touch the save icon to save your edits.

You can access the collage feature in either of the following ways:

• On the Discover tab in Gallery, touch Create collage, select the desired photos, then touch CREATE.

• On the Photos or Albums tab, touch and hold to select desired photos, then go to More (three dots) > Collage.

After selecting photos:

1. Select a template.

2. You can then relocate, adjust, or rotate a photo within the grid. You can also add or remove borders by touching Frame.

3. Touch the save icon to save the collage. It will be saved in the Albums > Collages folder.

Add Albums:

1. Go to Gallery > Albums.

2. Touch the add icon, name the album, then touch OK.

3. Select the photos or videos you want to add, and then move or copy them to the album.

Sort Albums:

1. Go to Gallery > Albums > More (three dots) and touch Sort albums.

2. Drag the icon next to an album to the desired position. Touch Reset to return to the default order.

Move Photos and Videos:

1. Open an album, then touch and hold to select the photos and videos you want to move.

2. Touch More (three dots) > Move to select the desired album.

Block Albums:

Block third-party app albums to prevent them from being displayed in Gallery.

1. In the Others list, touch the album you want to block.

2. If a blockable icon is displayed at the top, go to More (three dots) > Block.

Deleted photos and videos are temporarily moved to the Recently deleted album and permanently deleted after a certain period.

To recover them before they are permanently deleted:

1. In the Recently deleted album, touch and hold to select the items you want to recover.

2. Touch the restore icon to restore them to their original albums.

If the original album has been deleted, a new one will be created.

1. Access the recent tasks screen. If using Gestures, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold. If using Three-key navigation, touch the recent tasks key.

2. On the recent tasks screen, you can:

• Swipe across to view app previews.

• Touch an app preview to access an app.

• Swipe up on an app preview to close an app.

• Swipe down on an app preview to lock it. A lock icon will appear. Locked apps will not be closed when you clear all apps.

• Swipe down again on a locked app preview to unlock it.

• Touch the clear icon to close all apps (except for those you have locked).

Manually create contacts: On the Contacts screen, tap the add icon, enter the contact’s information, and tap the checkmark to save.

Scan business cards: On the Contacts screen, go to More (four dots) > Scan, aim at the business card, and tap to shoot. The system will identify the information and populate the new contact fields.

Scan QR code: On the Contacts interface, go to More (four dots) > Scan, and aim at the contact’s QR code.

Merge duplicate contacts: On the Contacts interface, go to More (four dots) > Settings > Organize contacts > Merge duplicate contacts, select the duplicates, and tap Merge.

Share contacts: On the Contacts interface, long press a contact to select it, and tap Share contact. Or select multiple contacts and tap More > Share contact.

Create groups:

1. Open Contacts and select the Groups tab.

2. Tap New, enter the group name, and tap OK.

3. Tap Add members, select the contacts to add, and tap Add.

Edit groups:

On the Contacts interface, select Groups, and enter the group you want to edit.

• Add member: Tap Add members to add more contacts.

• Remove member: Long press a member and tap Remove from group.

• More operations: Tap More to find options like Remove members for bulk removal, Group ringtone, Delete group, and Rename.

Send group messages or emails:

On the Contacts interface, select Groups, enter a group, then:

• Tap the message icon to send a group message.

• Tap the email icon to send a group email.

Answer or Reject an Incoming Call:

If you receive a call when the screen is unlocked:

• Touch the green phone icon to answer the call.

• Touch the red phone icon to reject the call.

• Touch the message icon to reject the call and reply with a message.

Enable Call Waiting:

This feature lets you answer a new call while already in another. Go to Phone > More (four dots) > Settings > More > Call waiting.

Answer a New Incoming Call During a Call:

1. When you receive a new call, touch the green phone icon to answer it, which places the first call on hold.

2. Touch the swap icon or touch a held call in the call list to switch between the two calls.

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Open Phone, go to More (four dots) > Settings, and touch Call forwarding.

2. Select a forwarding method, then enter and confirm the target number.

Filter Spam Calls:

1. Go to Phone > More (four dots) > Blocked > Settings icon.

2. Touch Call block rules and toggle on the switches for the types of calls you want to block.

Block Incoming Calls from Specific Numbers:

• Go to Phone > More (four dots) > Blocked > Settings icon > Blocklist, touch the add icon, then add the phone numbers you want to block.

• Open Phone, touch the Contacts tab, touch the contact you want to block, then choose More (four dots) > Block contact.

Manage Blocked Calls:

Go to Phone > More (four dots) > Blocked. You can then:

• Touch a record to call back, add to trustlist/contact, or delete.

• Touch Clear to delete blocked calls in batches.

• Touch Block rules to change the block rules.

1. Go to Settings > Security > Emergency SOS, and touch Emergency contacts to add an emergency contact.

2. Enable Also send SOS message and Auto-SOS call, and set related permissions as prompted.

Once enabled, if you are in an emergency situation, press the Power button five times in quick succession. Your phone will automatically send a message with your current location to your emergency contacts. It will also automatically call your emergency contacts one by one and play a pre-recorded SOS message, then end the call.

Add an alarm:

1. Go to Clock > Alarm, tap the add icon to add an alarm.

2. Follow the prompts to set the ringtone, repeating interval, etc.

3. Tap the checkmark to save the settings.

Modify or Delete an Alarm: Touch an existing alarm to modify or delete it.

Snooze an Alarm: When an alarm rings, touch the snooze button or press the Power button.

Turn Off an Alarm: When an alarm rings, swipe left or right on the button that appears at the bottom of the screen to turn it off.

App Twin enables you to log in to two WhatsApp or Facebook accounts simultaneously. Note that App Twin is only supported by some apps.

To enable it, go to Settings > Apps > App Twin, and enable App Twin for the desired app. The twin app will then be displayed on the home screen.

You can use the Cleanup feature in System Manager.

1. Open System Manager, then touch Cleanup.

2. When the scan is complete, touch CLEAN UP after each item and delete any files you don’t need.

Manually clean up trash files: Go to Cleanup and tap Clean up next to the trash file category to manually review and delete files.

Clean Up Duplicate Files: On the Cleanup screen, touch Duplicate files, then select unwanted files to delete them.

Add a Personal Email Account:

1. Open Email on your phone, then select from the available mailbox providers.

2. Enter your email address and password, touch Sign in, and follow the onscreen instructions. The system will automatically connect to the server.

Add an Exchange Account:

1. Contact your company email server administrator to get the domain name, server address, port number, and security type.

2. Open Email and select Exchange.

3. Enter your email address, user name, and password.

4. Touch Manual setup and enter the server details. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the configuration.

1. Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Fingerprint ID. Follow the on-screen prompts to set or enter the lock screen password.

2. Tap New fingerprint > ADD FINGERPRINT to start enrolling your fingerprint.

3. Place your finger on the in-screen fingerprint sensing area. Press on the area until the phone vibrates and release. Repeat this operation with different sections of the same finger until the enrollment is complete.

4. Then, tap OK.

Once enrolled, you can touch the in-screen fingerprint sensing area on the lock screen to unlock your phone.

1. Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Face Recognition and enter your lock screen password. If you haven’t set one, set a 6-digit PIN or another password type.

2. Select Enable raise to wake.

3. Tap GET STARTED and follow the on-screen instructions to enroll your facial data.

For more accurate recognition, you can also add an alternate look by tapping Set an alternate look on the Face Recognition screen.

Enable App Lock:

Go to Settings > Security > App Lock > Enable, then follow the onscreen instructions to set the App Lock password and select the apps to lock. If you have enabled face or fingerprint unlock, you can link App Lock with a face ID or fingerprint ID as prompted.

Change the App Lock Password or Security Questions:

Enter the App Lock settings screen, go to Settings icon > Password type, and select Lock screen password or Custom PIN as the App Lock password.

Cancel or Disable App Lock:

On the App Lock settings screen, do the following:

• Cancel App Lock for specific apps: On the list of locked apps, toggle off the switches beside the apps you want to unlock.

• Reset App Lock: Go to Settings icon > DISABLE APP LOCK > DISABLE. This will cancel all locks and clear all App Lock settings.

Enable Power Saving Mode:

Go to Settings > Battery (or System Manager > Battery icon), and enable Power Saving mode. A leaf icon will then be displayed in the status bar.

Enable Smart Charge:

Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings, and enable Smart Charge. This feature learns from your charging habits to manage the charging process intelligently and prolong battery life.

Enable Smart Battery Capacity:

Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings, and enable Smart Battery Capacity to intelligently adjust the maximum available battery capacity and prolong the battery lifespan.

Display Battery Percentage in the Status Bar:

Go to Settings > Battery, touch Battery percentage, and select whether the percentage will be displayed inside or next to the battery icon.

1. When you log in to an app for the first time, your phone will automatically prompt you to save the password. Touch SAVE when prompted.

2. If you log out of the app, the next time you log in, your device will autofill the username and password once you have verified your identity with your lock screen password, fingerprint, or face ID.

If you accidentally touch NEVER SAVE, you can re-enable the autofill feature for that app by going to Settings > Security > Password Vault > Manage autofill for apps, and toggling on the switch next to the app.

Enable and access the PrivateSpace:

1. Go to Settings > Privacy > PrivateSpace > Enable and follow on-screen instructions to create the PrivateSpace.

2. You can enter your PrivateSpace from the lock screen using the corresponding fingerprint or password, or by going to Settings > Privacy > PrivateSpace in MainSpace and tapping LOG IN.

Transfer Files Between MainSpace and PrivateSpace:

1. In PrivateSpace, go to Settings > Privacy > PrivateSpace, and touch MainSpace to PrivateSpace or PrivateSpace to MainSpace.

2. Select the files you want to transfer, touch Move, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Delete the PrivateSpace:

You can delete the PrivateSpace in either of the following ways:

• In the MainSpace, go to Settings > Privacy > PrivateSpace and tap More (three dots) > Delete PrivateSpace.

• In the PrivateSpace, go to Settings > Privacy > PrivateSpace, and tap DELETE.

1. Go to Settings > System & updates > Software update, and touch Check for updates.

2. When an update is available, you can either manually download and install it or update automatically overnight.

• Download and install the update package: Go to New version > DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL. It is recommended to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

• Update overnight: Touch the settings icon, and enable Auto-download over Wi-Fi and Update overnight. Your phone will automatically update and restart between 02:00 – 04:00 if it is powered on, the screen is locked, no alarms are set, and the battery is above 35%.

Reset Network Settings: This will reset your Wi-Fi, mobile data network, and Bluetooth settings. It will not delete any other data. Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset, touch Reset network settings, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Restore All Settings: This operation will reset all network settings, your lock screen password, and the home screen layout. Enrolled fingerprints and facial data will be deleted. Other data or files will not be deleted. Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset, touch Reset all settings, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Restore Factory Settings (Erase all data): This operation will erase all data on your phone. Make sure to back up your data before proceeding. Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset > Reset phone, touch Reset phone, and follow the onscreen instructions.
