To answer an incoming call on your SONY WH-1000XM4, double-tap the touch sensor on the right earcup. To end the call, double-tap the touch sensor again.

You can use your SONY WH-1000XM4 as wired headphones by plugging the supplied headphone cable into the headphone jack on the left earcup. Connect the other end to the headphone jack of your audio device. This method can be used even when the headphones are powered off.

Quick Attention Mode on the SONY WH-1000XM4 allows you to quickly lower the volume of your audio to hear your surroundings without removing the headphones. To activate it, place your entire hand over the touch sensor on the right earcup. The audio volume will decrease, and ambient sound will be captured by the microphones. Remove your hand to return to your normal listening experience.
