How do I provide power to the AUTOMATIONDIRECT C-MORE EA9-T7CL-R?
There are two methods to provide power to the AUTOMATIONDIRECT C-MORE EA9-T7CL-R panel: AC wiring or DC wiring.
AC Wiring
1. Install a C-more AC/DC Power Adapter (p/n EA-AC) to the rear of the touch panel.
2. Wire an AC voltage source of 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, to its AC connector.
3. It is recommended to use a 3.0A time delay AC supply fuse (ADC p/n: MDL3).
4. Turn on the power source and check the LED status indicators on the front and rear of the panel for proper indication.
The tightening torque specifications for the EA-AC adapter are as follows:
| Part | Torque Specification |
|---|---|
| Power supply cable torque | 71-85 oz-in (0.5-0.6 Nm) |
| Power connector mounting torque | 71-85 oz-in (0.5-0.6 Nm) |
| Mounting flange screw torque | 57-71 oz-in (0.4-0.5 Nm) |
DC Wiring
1. Wire a dedicated 12-24 VDC power source to the DC connector on the rear of the panel.
2. Include wiring for the ground terminal to a proper equipment ground.
3. The recommended DC supply fuse for 6″ – 10″ panels is 2.5 A (ADC p/n: MDL2-5).
4. Turn on the power source and check the LED status indicators.
Note: Use 60 / 75°C copper conductors only, 12 – 24 AWG.
The tightening torque specifications for the DC connector are as follows:
| Part | Torque Specification |
|---|---|
| Power connector screw torque | 70.4 oz-in (0.5 Nm) |
| Power connector mounting torque | 56 oz-in (0.4 Nm) |
