To register your appliance and enjoy peace of mind, follow these steps:

1. Open the camera app on your smartphone and point at the QR code to scan. The Product Registration QR code is located on the top surface or underside of your appliance.

2. Tap the notification or link that appears to open the registration form.

3. Complete your details to stay updated on better living services, safety notices, and shop for accessories.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments

• Farm houses

• By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments

• Bed and breakfast type environments

If you find the cooktop is damaged or marked, you must report it within 7 days if you wish to claim for damage/marks under the manufacturer’s warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

To ensure personal safety, please adhere to the following:

• Do not let persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental functions, or lack of experience and knowledge use the appliance without supervision.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the appliance when it is operating or cooling down, as accessible parts are hot.

• If the appliance has a child safety device, it is recommended that you activate it.

To avoid the risk of fire and electrical shock:

• All electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician.

• Before wiring, ensure the mains terminal is not live.

• Ensure the appliance is installed correctly to provide anti-shock protection. Loose connections can cause the terminal to overheat.

• Cables from other appliances must not touch the hot surface of the cooktop.

• The electrical supply cord should not touch the appliance or hot cookware, except at the terminal block connection point.

• The electrical installation must have an isolation device with a minimum contact opening of 3mm, such as line protecting cut-outs, fuses, and earth leakage trips.

To prevent damage to your appliance:

• Do not keep hot cookware on the control panel.

• Do not let cookware boil dry.

• Be careful not to drop utensils or cookware on the glass surface, as it can be damaged.

• Do not activate cooking zones with empty cookware or without cookware.

• Do not put aluminum foil on the appliance.

• Cookware made of cast iron, aluminum, or with a damaged bottom can cause scratches. Always lift these objects when moving them on the cooking surface.

Your cooktop has four induction cooking zones and a control panel:

• Left Front (LF zone): 2300 W, with Power function 3200 W (minimum cookware diameter =125 mm).

• Left Rear (LR zone): 2300 W, with Power function 3200 W (minimum cookware diameter =125 mm).

• Right Rear (RR zone): 1800 W, with Power function 2800 W (minimum cookware diameter =150 mm).

• Right Front (RF zone): 1400 W, with Power function 2500 W (minimum cookware diameter =120 mm).

Touch the ON/OFF sensor for 1 second to activate or deactivate the appliance.

The Automatic Switch Off function deactivates the appliance if:

• All cooking zones are deactivated.

• You do not set a heat setting after you activate the appliance.

• You spill something or place an object (like a pan or cloth) on the control panel for more than 10 seconds.

• A cooking zone becomes too hot (e.g., a saucepan boils dry).

• You use incorrect cookware. The symbol ‘F’ will appear, and the zone will deactivate after 2 minutes.

• You do not deactivate a cooking zone or change its heat setting for an extended period. The time depends on the heat setting.

The Automatic Heat Up function allows you to reach a necessary heat setting faster. It sets the highest heat setting for a short time and then decreases to your desired setting.

1. Touch P. The symbol ‘P’ will appear in the display.

2. Immediately touch + adjacent to the cooking zone you want to control. The symbol ‘A’ will appear in the display.

3. Immediately touch – adjacent to the same zone repeatedly until your desired heat setting is shown. After 3 seconds, ‘A’ will appear, indicating the function is active.

4. To stop the function, touch + adjacent to the element you want to control.

The Power function provides more power to an induction cooking zone for a maximum of 10 minutes, after which it returns to the highest standard heat setting. To activate it, touch P. The symbol ‘P’ will appear in the display. To deactivate, touch P adjacent to the element you are controlling.

Count Down Timer: This sets how long a cooking zone will operate for a single cooking session.

1. Select the cooking zone first.

2. Touch TIMER again and again until the indicator for the required cooking zone appears.

3. Touch + or – of the timer to set the time (00-99 minutes). The time will start counting down.

4. When the time elapses, a sound will operate, ’00’ will flash, and the cooking zone will switch off. Touch TIMER to stop the sound.

Minute Minder: You can use the timer as a Minute Minder when the cooking zones are not operating. Touch TIMER, then touch + or – to select the time. When the time elapses, a sound will operate and ’00’ will flash.

The PAUSE function sets all operating cooking zones to the lowest heat setting (keep warm). When Pause is active, you cannot change the heat setting, but the timer function continues to operate.

• To activate, touch || PAUSE. The keep warm symbol will appear.

• To deactivate, touch || PAUSE again. The previous heat setting will be restored.

The Bridge function connects the two left-hand cooking zones, allowing them to operate as one large zone, ideal for a griddle plate.

1. First, set the heat setting for one of the left-hand cooking zones.

2. To start the Bridge function, touch Bridge.

3. To set or change the heat setting for the bridged zone, touch one of the left-hand controls.

4. To stop the Bridge function, touch Bridge again. The cooking zones will then operate independently.

This function prevents accidental operation of the appliance.

To activate:

1. Activate the appliance with ON/OFF. Do not set any heat settings.

2. Touch || PAUSE for 4 seconds. The symbol ‘L’ will appear.

3. Deactivate the appliance with ON/OFF.

To deactivate:

1. Activate the appliance with ON/OFF. Do not set any heat settings.

2. Touch || PAUSE for 4 seconds. The symbol ‘0’ will appear.

3. Deactivate the appliance with ON/OFF.

To override for one cooking time:

1. Activate the appliance with ON/OFF. The symbol ‘L’ will appear.

2. Touch || PAUSE for 4 seconds. Set the desired heat setting within 10 seconds to operate the appliance.

3. When you deactivate the appliance with ON/OFF, the child safety device will be active again.

The SenseBoil® function automatically adjusts the temperature of water to prevent it from boiling over. It works best for boiling water and preparing potatoes.

1. Touch ON/OFF to activate the hob.

2. Touch Boil Protect to activate the function. A blinking icon will appear for the cooking zones on which you can use the function.

3. Touch the control bar of an available cooking zone (between heat setting 1-9) to start the function. If you do not choose a zone within 5 seconds, the function will not activate.

4. Once the function starts, indicators above the symbol will light up in sequence until the water reaches its boiling point.

5. When the hob detects the boiling point, it will emit an acoustic signal, and the heat level will automatically change to 5.

To deactivate the function, touch Boil Protect or manually adjust the heat setting on the control bar.

• The function does not work with cast iron or non-stick cookware. Enamelled steel pots are recommended.

• Fill the pot with 1 to 5 litres of cold tap water, leaving at least 4 cm from the rim empty.

• Ensure the total weight of water (or water and potatoes) is between 1-5 kg.

• If cooking potatoes, ensure they are whole, unpeeled, medium-sized, and completely covered with water.

• Avoid external vibrations (e.g., from a blender) near the appliance when the function is running.

• Add salt only after the water has reached the boiling point.

Hob²Hood is an advanced automatic function that connects your cooktop to a special compatible rangehood. The fan speed of the rangehood is defined automatically based on the mode and temperature of the hottest cookware on the hob.

Operating the function automatically: The default mode is H5. When you activate the hob, the hood will adjust the fan speed automatically based on boiling or frying detection. You can change the automatic mode (H0 to H6) in the settings.

Operating the fan speed manually: Touch the Auto symbol when the hob is active. This deactivates the automatic mode. You can then press the symbol to raise the fan speed by one level. Reaching the intensive level and pressing again will set the fan speed to 0, deactivating the hood fan.

For induction cooking, a strong electromagnetic field creates heat directly in the cookware.

• Correct cookware material: cast iron, steel, enamelled steel, stainless steel, and multi-layer bottoms with a magnetic core.

• Incorrect cookware material: aluminum, copper, brass, glass, ceramic, or porcelain.

• How to check: Place a magnet on the bottom of your pot or pan. If the magnet clings firmly, the cookware is suitable for induction cooking.

• Cookware bottom: The bottom of the cookware must be as thick and flat as possible for best results.

The noises you hear are normal for induction cooking and do not indicate a malfunction. The type of noise depends on the cookware and power level:

• Crackling noise: Cookware is made of different materials (sandwich construction).

• Whistle sound: You are using one or more cooking zones on high power, and the cookware is made of different materials.

• Humming: You are using high power levels.

• Clicking: Electric switching is occurring.

• Hissing, buzzing: The internal fan is operating.

The data in this table is for guidance only.

Clean the appliance after each use. Always use cookware with a clean bottom. Scratches or dark stains on the glass ceramic do not affect its operation.

1. Remove immediately: Use a special glass scraper at an acute angle to remove melted plastic, plastic foil, and food with sugar while the surface is still warm. If not removed immediately, it can cause damage.

2. Remove after the appliance is cool: Use a special cleaning agent for glass ceramic to remove limescale rings, water rings, fat stains, and shiny metallic discolorations.

3. Clean the appliance with a moist cloth and some detergent.

4. At the end, rub the appliance dry with a clean cloth.

If your hob won’t activate, check the following:

• Electrical Connection: Check if the hob is correctly connected to the electrical supply. Refer to the connection diagram.

• Fuse: Make sure that a blown fuse is not the cause of the malfunction. If the fuse blows repeatedly, contact a qualified electrician.

• Heat Setting: Ensure you set the heat setting within 10 seconds of activating the hob.

• Sensor Fields: Make sure you are touching only one sensor field at a time. If the control panel has water or fat stains, clean it.

This typically happens when you have placed something on one or more of the sensor fields on the control panel (e.g., a cloth, a pan). Remove the object from the sensor fields to resolve the issue.

An ‘F’ symbol appearing on the display can indicate several issues:

• No cookware: There is no cookware on the cooking zone. Place cookware on the zone.

• Unsuitable cookware: The cookware is not suitable for induction cooking. Use suitable cookware.

• Incorrect cookware size: The diameter of the cookware bottom is too small for the zone. Use cookware with correct dimensions.

• Empty pot: The power may be too low due to an empty pot. Do not activate a zone with an empty pot on it.

• Liquid other than water: The pot contains liquid other than water (e.g., oil), which can interfere with certain functions.

If you hear a beep, the indicators blink, and the SenseBoil® function does not start, it means none of the cooking zones are ready to be used with the function. This is because there is some residual heat on the cooking zones you want to choose, or they are still in use. Finish your previous cooking activities and choose a free cooking zone without any residual heat.

This indicates an error in the hob. Deactivate the hob and activate it again after 30 seconds. If the error code appears again, disconnect the hob from the electrical supply for 30 seconds, then connect it again. If the problem continues, you will need to speak to an Authorised Service Centre.
