These instructions are for your safety. Please read them before use and keep them for future reference. The TCHIBO 645 940 is intended for decorative and not accent lighting and is not a toy. For safety reasons, it must not be used by children, and should be kept away from children and animals.

The product is intended for private use, not for commercial purposes.

The TCHIBO 645 940 is suitable for indoor use only. The product is not suitable for the outdoors and complies with protection type IP44 (splash-proof) only when the plug connector is correctly connected. The mains adapter is suitable for indoor use only. Protect the product from splashes of water, such as rain. However, you should protect it from direct water radiation. In case of damage, do not use the product.

Only connect the product to a properly installed wall socket with a mains adapter that matches the technical specifications of the product. The power supply must be easily accessible so that the power cord can be disconnected from the mains in an emergency.

During thunderstorms, and if the product is not going to be used for a long time, unplug the mains adapter from the wall socket.

Do not connect the product to other fairy lights or strings of lights.

Do not connect the product to the mains while it is still in its packaging.

The power supply can only be cut off by unplugging the mains adapter. If the power cord is cut by any chance, the product has to be destroyed and cannot be used anymore. The cable is not suitable for underground installation.

The bulbs are built-in and cannot and must not be replaced.

Do not use any chemical, aggressive or corrosive agents to clean the product.

First, ensure the product is untied in its wiring, strong stars, etc., and that the cable is not knotted. Then follow these steps:

1. Insert the mains adapter into the socket on the product and screw the connector ring on tight.

2. Insert the mains adapter into a wall socket.

3. To switch the product on continuously:

Press the switch on the mains adapter 1x.

4. To switch the product on with the timer function:

Press the switch on the mains adapter 2x. The light chain will now be lit for 6 hours. Afterwards, it switches off automatically for 18 hours. This cycle is repeated as long as the timer is active.

5. To switch the product off:

Press the switch on the mains adapter 3x.

Please note: If the mains plug is being disconnected from the wall socket, the timer sequence will be interrupted. For renewed timer function, press 2x switch ON and so on.

Before cleaning, unplug the mains adapter from the wall socket.

Wipe the lights off with a dry, soft and lint-free cloth.

Appliances marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obligated to dispose of old appliances separately from household waste. Information about collection points where old appliances can be disposed of free of charge is available from your local authorities. The product is suitable for outdoor use and complies with protection type IP44. To meet the environmental requirements, the used product with its packaging that can be recycled must be taken to special collection points. This way, the materials can be recycled. The cardboard box and composed packaging for this product are made of recyclable materials.
