• The product must not be electrically connected to fairy lights or anything similar.
• Remove the mains adapter from the wall socket if malfunctions occur during use, during thunderstorms, or before cleaning the product. To unplug, always pull on the mains adapter, not the connection cable. Ensure that the wall socket used is easily accessible so that you can quickly disconnect the mains adapter whenever necessary.

• When the connection socket is closed or when the mains adapter is connected, the lamp is protected against splashes of water, but is not waterproof. Protect it from heavy rain and puddles and do not immerse it in water.
• The product is suitable for outdoor use from a minimum temperature of approx. -10 °C. In temperatures colder than this, keep the product indoors as it may otherwise become damaged.
• The product is not made to withstand strong winds, storms, etc.! Dismantle the product in good time or stow in a sheltered location if strong winds or storms are forecast.
How do I assemble the lamp and connect it to the mains?
1. Assemble the lamp as illustrated in the user manual.
2. Insert one end of the connection cable into the connection socket on the bottom of the lampshade and the other end into the connection socket on the mains adapter. Screw the protective cap tight.
3. Insert the mains adapter into a wall socket.
How do I switch the lamp on, off, and adjust the brightness?
The lamp features a step-dimming function with three different levels of brightness.
• To turn the lamp on: Briefly tap the On/Off switch 1x. The LEDs will light up at 100% brightness.
• To change the light intensity: Press and hold the On/Off switch for approx. 2 seconds, several times if necessary. The light intensity will change as follows: 100% > 50% > 25% > 100% > 50% > 25% and so on.
• To turn the lamp off: Briefly tap the On/Off switch 1x.
With memory feature: The next time the lamp is switched on, it lights up at the brightness that was last set.
How do I charge the battery?
You can operate the lamp in battery mode or by connecting it directly to the mains power supply.
The rechargeable battery comes in a half-charged state. This is to prevent damage to it. Charge the rechargeable battery prior to first use. The charging time with an empty battery is approx. 4 hours.
Operating time with a full battery is:
• min. 4 hours (100 % light intensity)
• min. 8 hours (50 % light intensity)
• min. 16 hours (25 % light intensity)
You can also switch on the lamp while it is charging. However, it will take significantly longer for the rechargeable battery to be fully charged.
During charging, the charging indicator light on the underside is lit up in red. Once the battery is fully charged it turns green.
NOTICE – material damage: Always cover the connection socket with the protective flap after charging or whenever you remove the connection plug from the lamp to ensure that the connection socket is protected from moisture.
To preserve the rechargeable battery’s full capacity for as long as possible, you should recharge the battery every 2 months, even if you do not use the lamp. The battery will best hold its charge at normal room temperature. The lower the temperature, the shorter the battery life. If it does not charge, remove the connection cable for a minute and then try again.
How do I clean the lamp?
1. Disconnect the mains adapter and the connection cable, if necessary.
2. Wipe down all parts of the lamp with a slightly damp sponge.
