The TCHIBO 688 059 projector torch is designed for private use and not for commercial purposes. It is a torch that can also be used to project images.

The TCHIBO 688 059 is not a toy. Keep children under 36 months away. Small parts, that if swallowed, could cause internal burns and even death within two hours. If a battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns and even death. It is important to keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think that batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, see a doctor immediately.

Do not look straight into the light and do not direct the light into the eyes of other people or animals. The LED lights are very bright.

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Do not try to recharge them, as this could lead to an explosion or fire. If you use rechargeable batteries, we advise that these are removed from the product and charged by an adult. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the product before being charged.

If a battery has leaked, do not touch it with your bare hands. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Rinse the affected skin areas with water if necessary and consult a doctor immediately.

The terminals in the battery compartment must not be short circuited.

Do not subject the product to extreme temperature fluctuations, moisture, dust or direct sunlight.

Ensure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.

Take the batteries out of the product if they are empty or if you do not plan to use the product for a longer period of time. This will avoid damage that can be caused by leaking batteries.

Always close the battery compartment properly and ensure that the contacts are clean and dry before inserting the batteries.

Do not mix old and new batteries. Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix different types of batteries (e.g. alkaline with zinc-carbon batteries) or rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.

Due to the long service life of the light emitting diodes (LEDs), they are not necessary to replace. At the end of the service life, the whole product is worn out and must be disposed of.

Do not use any caustic, aggressive or abrasive cleaning products.

The batteries are already inserted in the TCHIBO 688 059. Before using the product for the first time, you must remove the battery protection strip.

1. Replacing the batteries: Unscrew the screw on the battery compartment lid and then remove the lid.

2. Insert new batteries as illustrated in the graphic and pay close attention to the correct polarity. Then replace the lid and tighten the screw.

1. Switching on the projector torch: Slide the on/off switch to the front to turn on the light.

2. Switching off the projector torch: Slide the on/off switch to the back to turn off the light.

3. Inserting a projection slide: Place the slide in the slot at the front of the torch head.

4. To display the next image: Turn the slide holder one step to the right to display the next image.

The product, its packaging and the batteries supplied have been manufactured from valuable materials that can be recycled. Recycling helps reduce the amount of refuse and benefits the environment. Dispose of the packaging at a local recycling point that sorts materials by type. Make use of the local facilities provided for collecting paper, card and lightweight packaging.

Devices marked with the symbol of a wheeled bin with a line through it must not be disposed of in old-device separate from your household waste. If you are no longer able to use your electrical or electronic device, every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of it in old-device separate from household waste, for example at a municipal collection point. Old devices are accepted there free of charge and will be recycled in an environmentally-friendly and resource-saving manner.

Disposable batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be discarded with household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to take used batteries to a local authority collection point or to return them to a retailer.
