This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.

WARNING: In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent.

Never pull on the cord when unplugging.

Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.

Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.

Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.

This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.

This appliance is for household use only.

WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible injury.

CAUTION: The surface can remain hot during or after use.

Do not operate the device connected to an external timer or a separate remote control system.

The rear of the appliance should be against the wall.

The oven gives off heat. You should therefore not place it close to combustible materials such as curtains or wood.

The clearance above the oven should be at least 50 cm and at least 20 cm at the sides.

Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant mat.

Ensure that the timer is in the “off” position when you are not using the unit.

Please ensure that the mains lead does not come into contact with the hot sections of the device.

Do not touch the hot parts of the device. Use an oven cloth if necessary.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Controls: To control the temperature, functions and timer.

Grill rack: For toasting, baking and cooking foods with little moisture.

Food Tray: For roasting and baking various foods that contain water or release water or oil during cooking.

Accessory Hook: Allows you to remove the food tray and grill and avoid burns.

Door Handle: Cool touch handle to prevent burns.

Glass Door: Clear tempered glass allows you to view the cooking process comfortably.

Before using your ORBEGOZO HOT 280 for the first time, follow these steps:

– Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.

– Remove all accessories (Grill rack, baking tray, crumb tray and accessory hook) from the appliance.

– Clean the oven and accessories with a damp cloth and then dry.

– Unroll the power cord completely. Then plug it into a power outlet.

– Set the function selector to Dual heat.

– Set the thermostat knob to 230°C.

– Set the timer to 15 minutes so that the oven runs empty (without food or accessories) during this period.

CAUTION: The oven may emit a slight odor and some smoke when used for the first time. This is normal and will disappear very quickly. Make sure the appliance is operated in a well-ventilated area.

For baking and roasting, it is advisable to always preheat the oven to the desired cooking temperature to achieve perfect cooking.

Place the crumb tray under the baking rack to prevent fat from dripping onto the heating elements and the bottom of the oven.

If the food being cooked is oily or greasy, two sheets of aluminium foil can be used. Place one on the crumb tray and cover the food with the other. This helps prevent oil and grease from splashing onto the oven walls during cooking.

Allow the oven to cool completely before cleaning. Unplug it from the power outlet.

The grill rack, baking tray and crumb tray can be cleaned in the usual way, either by hand or in the dishwasher.

Always use a damp sponge to clean the external surfaces. Do not use abrasive substances, as they may damage the coating. Be careful not to allow water or detergent to enter the oven through the ventilation holes on its surface.

Never immerse the oven in water or any other liquid.

To clean the interior, never use corrosive substances (spray detergents) or scratch the surfaces with sharp or pointed objects.

If the appliance is not kept clean, its surface may be damaged, which would negatively affect its lifespan and lead to a dangerous situation. The oven must be cleaned periodically and any food residue removed.

Remove and clean the crumb tray by pulling on its handle.

Wash it with soapy water and let it dry.

Never use abrasive substances.

Replace the tray.

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
