To ensure proper operation of your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC, follow these placement guidelines for the docking station:

1. Place the dock on a hard, level floor against a wall (B3-1).

2. Keep the area around the dock free of clutter (B1, B1-1).

3. Do not place the dock near stairs or drop-offs (B1-2).

4. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the dock: ample space in front (B3-2) and on both sides (B3-3) to allow the robot to return for charging without obstruction.

Follow these steps to set up your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC docking station:

1. Connect the power cable securely into the port on the back of the docking station (B2-1).

2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable wall outlet (B2-2).

3. Place the ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC robot onto the dock, aligning its charging contacts with those on the dock. The robot will begin to charge (B2-3).

To replace the dust bag in your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC’s auto-empty dock, follow these instructions:

1. Lift open the top cover of the dock (C1).

2. To remove the full bag, pull the handle upwards. This action will automatically seal the bag for clean disposal (D10).

3. Dispose of the old dust bag.

4. Insert the new dust bag by sliding it down into the designated slot until it is firmly in place (D11).

5. Close the top cover of the dock.

To install the main brush on your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC, please follow these steps:

1. Turn the robot vacuum upside down to access the underside.

2. Squeeze the two latches on the main brush cover and lift it off (D1-6).

3. Insert the main brush, starting with one end, into the designated slot (D1-8).

4. Press the other end of the brush down until it clicks securely into place (D1-9).

5. Re-attach the main brush cover, ensuring it clicks into place on both sides (D1-7).

For optimal performance, clean the main brush of your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC regularly:

1. Remove the main brush from the robot as described in the installation instructions.

2. Detach the caps from both ends of the brush (D2-1).

3. Use a cleaning tool to cut and remove any hair or debris wrapped around the brush (D2-2).

4. Wipe the main brush (D7-1) and the brush compartment on the robot (D7-2) with a soft cloth to remove any residual dust or dirt.

5. Reassemble and reinstall the brush.

Maintain your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC by cleaning the dustbin and filter as follows:

1. Press the dustbin latch and remove the dustbin from the robot (D3-1).

2. Open the dustbin lid (D5-1) and empty the contents (D5-2).

3. Remove the filter from the dustbin (D4, D6-1).

4. To clean without water, gently tap the filter against a surface to dislodge dust (D5-3).

5. For a deeper clean, you can rinse the dustbin (D3-2) and the filter (D6-2) under running water. Do not use soap or detergents.

6. Important: The filter must be completely air-dried for at least 24 hours before re-installing it. A wet filter can cause damage (D6-3).

7. Once dry, place the filter back into the dustbin (D5-4) and insert the dustbin back into the robot.

To ensure accurate navigation and operation, clean the sensors of your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC using a soft, dry cloth:

1. Gently wipe the wall sensor located on the side of the robot (D8-1, D8-2, D8-3).

2. Turn the robot upside down and gently wipe the multiple cliff sensors on the bottom of the robot (D8-4, D8-5).

Regularly clean the auto-empty dock to keep your ROBOROCK QR T78 FCC functioning correctly. Make sure to unplug the dock before cleaning.

Charging Contacts (D9):

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the charging contacts on the dock and on the robot. Do not use water or a wet cloth for this task.

Air Inlet (D12):

1. Unscrew and remove the air inlet cover located on the dock base (D12-1, D12-2).

2. Wipe the air inlet and the inside of the cover with a dry cloth to remove any dust buildup (D12-3).

3. Re-attach the cover and tighten the screws (D12-4).

Dock Base and Air Duct (D13):

1. Remove the high-speed maintenance brush from its storage spot on the dock (D13-1).

2. Use the brush to clean out any debris from the air duct inside the dock base (D13-2).

3. Return the maintenance brush to its storage spot after cleaning (D13-3).
