To set up the PYLE PDWM1980 system and avoid interference, each unit may have many presented channels. When using multiple receiver/transmitter sets together, ensure each unit is set to a different channel.

1. The transmitter and antenna should be kept in a barrier-free, linear relative position.

2. Do not place the receiver close to a metal surface or digital equipment.

3. Try to keep the receiver 1.5 meters above the floor and 1 meter away from the wall.

The handheld transmitter microphone has the following parts:

1. Power signal lamp

2. LED display

3. Battery Cover

4. Frequency-change button

5. Power switch

1. Make sure the receiver is powered OFF.

2. On the transmitter, press and hold the frequency-change button, then press and hold the power button until the display starts flashing.

3. Turn ON the receiver. You will see the receiver’s RF light flashing.

4. Attention: For receivers with an LED display, turn ON the receiver and wait for 3-5 seconds.

5. Return to the transmitter and press the frequency-change button again.

6. Matching is successful if the RF light on the receiver is solid ON or the LED display shows the frequency. If not, repeat steps 1 through 5.

Connect the connector of the supplied lavalier microphone to the connecting jack of the transmitter. Set the transmitter to work in the wireless lavalier system mode.

Connect the connector of the supplied headset microphone to the connecting jack of the transmitter. Set the transmitter to work in the wireless headset system mode.

To charge the microphone, connect the charging cable to the charging socket on the receiver and the corresponding port on the microphone.

CAUTION: When charging the microphone, you MUST NOT use AA batteries to power it. You MUST use a 14500 lithium battery.

1. Ensure that transmitters are matched to their corresponding receivers to prevent frequency interference. Refer to the “Matching receiver and transmitter” procedure.

2. Use different frequencies among the transmitters. The difference in frequency between each transmitter should be 3-4MHz.

If there is no sound and the transmitter display or light is off, please try the following solutions:

1. Turn on the transmitter.

2. Make sure the battery is installed correctly.

3. Replace the batteries.

If there is no sound and the receiver display or light is off, make sure the adapter is plugged into the receiver DC socket and that the adapter is properly supplied with power.

If the receiver display or light indicates an RF signal but the sound is weak or absent, follow these steps:

1. Turn up the receiver volume.

2. Check the cable connection of the receiver.

If the receiver display or light indicates no RF signal while both units are powered on, try the following:

1. Remove the receiver away from metal objects.

2. Check if there is a barrier between the receiver and transmitter.

3. See the “Matching receiver and transmitter” section to re-pair the units.

If you are experiencing distortion or unwanted noise, and the receiver display or light indicates an RF signal, try these solutions:

1. Remove any interference sources nearby.

2. Change the working frequency of the receiver and transmitter.

3. Replace the transmitter batteries.

4. If using many sets together, increase the working frequency interval of the systems.

5. Maximize the volume button.

If you press the power button and the transmitter does not work or shuts down after a second, please perform the following steps:

1. Replace the batteries.

2. Re-press the power button after a few seconds.
