Important: Do not mix waterproof and non-waterproof items in the same load.

The Sanitized cycle is designed to eliminate common bacteria, viruses, and germs found in clothing. For correct operation, you must use hot water. Ensure that your home has a hot water supply connected to the installation. The cycle uses high-temperature water to ensure effectiveness. Put the detergent in the bottom of the tub and then add the clothes. This cycle is ideal for high-cotton items like towels, jeans, sheets, and bathrobes. For best performance, set the “Temperature” and “Water Level” knobs to the “Automatic” position.

The fabric softener dispenser automatically releases liquid fabric softener at the proper time during the cycle. Do not stop the washer or raise the lid during the first spin, as this will cause the dispenser to empty too soon. To use it, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the dispenser is securely attached to the agitator.

2. Use only liquid diluted fabric softener. Pour into the dispenser using the amount recommended on the package. Never pour fabric softener directly on clothes, as it may stain them.

3. Add water to the dispenser until it reaches the maximum fill line.

4. Select the FABRIC SOFTENER setting knob on the control panel for proper dispersion.

To clean the fabric softener dispenser:

1. Remove the dispenser from the top of the agitator.

2. Separate the dispenser cup from the cover by grasping the top and pushing down on the inside of the cup with your fingers. The dispenser cup will pop free from the cover.

3. Soak both the dispenser cup and cover in a solution of 3.8 liters of warm water, 1/4 cup (60 ml) of heavy-duty liquid detergent, and 1 cup (240 ml) of bleach.

4. If necessary, loosen any dirt accumulation with a clean, soft cloth after soaking. Do not use a stiff brush, as it may roughen the surface.

5. Rinse and reassemble the dispenser, then place it back on the agitator.

Wash Basket: Leave the lid open after washing to allow moisture to evaporate. To clean the basket, use a clean soft cloth dampened with liquid detergent, then rinse. Do not use harsh or gritty cleaners.

Fill Hoses: It is recommended to change the fill hoses every 5 years.

Exterior: Immediately wipe off any spills with a damp cloth. Try not to hit the surface with sharp objects.

Moving and Storage: Ask a service technician to remove water from the drain pump and hoses. Do not store the washer where it will be exposed to weather.

Long Vacations: Be sure the water supply is shut off at the faucets. Drain all water from the hoses if the weather will be below freezing.

Low: For delicates, synthetics, and special care knits. For items labeled “tumble dry low.”

The Lint Filter: Clean the filter before each use. Slide the grid out and move your fingers through the filter. Wax buildup may occur from fabric softeners; to remove it, wash the lint filter with soap and warm water. Dry completely before replacing. Do not operate the dryer without the lint filter and grid in place. A qualified technician should vacuum the lint from the dryer once a year.

The Exhaust Duct: Inspect and clean the exhaust duct at least once a year to prevent clogging, which can lengthen drying time. To clean it:
