This product is professional photographic equipment and should be operated by professional personnel only. Always follow these basic safety precautions:

1. Carefully read and fully understand the instruction manual before use.

2. This product is a professional lighting fixture; children are prohibited from using it. Children must be closely supervised by adults when approaching the fixture.

3. This is not an ordinary lighting fixture and must not be used for general illumination. Anyone with a history of eye damage or sensitivity should avoid using this fixture or looking directly at it.

4. Do not touch high-temperature parts such as flash tubes to avoid burns.

5. Do not point the flash directly at the eyes (especially a baby’s eyes) under any circumstances, as this could impair vision.

6. If the flash tube is damaged, stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

7. Do not use damaged equipment or accessories. Allow professional repair technicians to inspect it before use.

8. Stop using immediately if the product shell is cracked from impact to avoid electric shock.

9. This device is not waterproof. Keep it dry and avoid immersing it in water or other liquids. It should be installed in a ventilated and dry location.

10. Do not disassemble without authorization. If the product malfunctions, it must be inspected and repaired by authorized personnel.

11. Before storing the device, make sure it is completely cooled.

12. Do not place the device near alcohol, gasoline, or other flammable volatile solvents or gases.

13. Do not use or store this device in potentially explosive environments.

14. Do not use accessories not approved by our company.

15. Clean the device gently with a dry cloth. Do not use a wet cloth as it may damage the device.

The package for the GODOX IT30PRO F includes the following items:

Please ensure both the flash and camera are powered off before installation or disassembly.

Installing:

Insert the camera flash into the camera hot shoe base parallelly until it’s firmly locked.

Disassembling:

Press and hold the detach button, then take off the flash from the camera hot shoe base parallelly.

You can check the battery level indication on the LCD panel to see the remaining battery level. The meanings are as follows:

Power On: Press and hold the power button until the icon appears. Then, slide right on the screen or rotate the select dial anticlockwise to unlock. The device will turn off automatically if it stays locked for 6 seconds after power on.

Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the screen blacks out.

The WN Switch controls the flash coverage:

W Mode: The wide-angle diffuser is turned on. The flash range is extended, providing a more uniform flash at a closer distance.

N Mode: A relatively high light intensity can be maintained over a long distance compared to W mode.

In TTL mode, the camera’s metering system automatically adjusts the flash output for evenly exposed subjects and backgrounds.

Touch Screen Operation:

1. Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface.

2. Click the M/Multi/TTL icon to choose <TTL> and enter TTL auto flash mode.

3. Press the – or + icon to adjust the Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) amount among ±3 with ±1/3 increment each step, or directly pull the progress bar for quick adjustment.

Buttons and Select Dial Operation:

1. Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface.

2. Rotate the select dial to choose the M/Multi/TTL icon, then press the SET button to choose <TTL>.

3. Rotate the select dial to adjust the FEC amount among ±3 with ±1/3 increment each step.

In Manual Flash mode, the flash output is adjustable from 1/128 to 1/1 in 1/3 increment steps.

Touch Screen Operation:

1. Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface.

2. Click the M/Multi/TTL icon to choose <M> and enter M manual flash mode.

3. Press the – or + icon to adjust the power with ±1/3 increment each step, or directly pull the progress bar for quick adjustment.

Buttons and Select Dial Operation:

1. Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface.

2. Rotate the select dial to choose the M/Multi/TTL icon, then press the SET button to choose <M>.

3. Rotate the select dial to adjust the power with ±1/3 increment each step.

S1 and S2 photocell triggering is only available in M manual flash mode. You can switch between S1/S2 or turn off this function in the settings interface.

S1 Photocell Unit Setting: In M manual flash mode, the GODOX IT30PRO F can function as an optic S1 secondary flash. The flash will fire synchronously when the main flash fires. This helps create multiple lighting effects and has the same effect as using wireless triggers.

S2 Photocell Unit Setting: In M manual flash mode, the flash can function as an optic S2 secondary flash. This is useful when cameras have a pre-flash function. The flash will ignore a single “pre-flash” from the main flash and will only fire in response to the second, actual flash.

With a slow shutter speed, Multi flash mode fires a rapid series of flashes to capture multiple images of a moving subject in a single photo. You can set the flash frequency (Hz), number of flashes, and flash output.

• Flash output range: 1/128 – 1/4

• Number of flashes: 1 – 100

• Flash frequency: 1 – 100 Hz

Touch Screen Operation:

1. Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface and click the M/Multi/TTL icon to choose <Multi>.

2. Press the – or + icon to adjust flash power.

3. Press the upper number icon to enter the adjustment interface for the number of flashes and flash frequency. Slide the numbers to adjust the values.

Buttons and Select Dial Operation:

1. Press the MENU button, rotate the select dial to choose the M/Multi/TTL icon, and press SET to choose <Multi>.

2. Directly rotate the select dial to adjust flash power.

3. Press the SET button to choose the upper icons for number of flashes or flash frequency, then rotate the select dial to adjust the parameters.

Note: To avoid overheating, do not use multi flash more than 10 times in succession. After 10 times, allow the flash to rest for at least 15 minutes.

During multi flash, the shutter remains open until the firing stops. Use the following formula to calculate the shutter speed and set it with the camera:

Number of Flashes ÷ Flash Frequency = Shutter Speed

For example, if the number of flashes is 10 and the flash frequency is 5Hz, the shutter speed should be at least 2 seconds.

To use the GODOX IT30PRO F as a sender unit, you first need to enter Sender Mode.

Touch Screen: Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface, then click the wi-off/sender/receiver icon to choose the sender icon.

Buttons and Select Dial: Press the MENU button, rotate the select dial to choose the wi-off/sender/receiver icon, then press the SET button to choose the sender icon.

In Sender Mode, you can control groups M, A, B, C, and D. You can set each group to TTL auto flash mode or M manual flash mode.

Group Settings (Touch Screen):

1. In the menu, click the Gr/Multi icon to choose <Gr>.

2. Slide the screen up to enter the Gr interface. Slide up again to see more groups.

3. Press and hold a group box to switch among M (manual) flash, TTL auto flash, and OFF.

• If the value is white, the group is in M (manual) mode, and the value is flash power.

• If the value is green, the group is in TTL auto flash mode, and the value is flash compensation.

• OFF turns the group off.

4. Adjust flash power or compensation by clicking the – or + icon or by pulling the progress bar.

Group Settings (Buttons and Select Dial):

1. In the menu, rotate the dial to choose the Gr/Multi icon and press SET to choose <Gr>.

2. Rotate the select dial to choose a group.

3. Press and hold the SET button to switch among M (manual), TTL auto flash, and OFF.

4. Press the SET button to enter group settings, and rotate the select dial to adjust flash power or flash compensation.

To use the GODOX IT30PRO F as a receiver unit, you first need to enter Receiver Mode.

Touch Screen: Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface, then click the wi-off/sender/receiver icon to choose the receiver icon.

Buttons and Select Dial: Press the MENU button, rotate the select dial to choose the wi-off/sender/receiver icon, then press the SET button to choose the receiver icon.

Once in receiver mode, you can select the flash mode (TTL, M, Multi) and group (A, B, C, D) using the touch screen or buttons, and it will be controlled by a compatible Godox sender unit.

High-speed sync (FP flash) allows the flash to synchronize with all camera shutter speeds.

Touch Screen: Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface, then click the HSS icon to turn high-speed sync on or off.

Buttons and Select Dial: Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface, rotate the select dial to choose the HSS icon, then press the SET button to turn it on or off.

Note: The minimal flash power is 1/16 in HSS mode. For the GODOX IT30PRO F on Fujifilm cameras, you must also choose REAR flash mode in the camera settings (MENU > Flash Light Function Setting > REAR).

With a slow shutter speed, second-curtain sync creates a light train following the subject as the flash fires right before the shutter closes. To use this feature with the GODOX IT30PRO F, you need to set it on your Fujifilm camera. Choose MENU > Flash Light Function Setting > REAR flash mode on your camera.

Locking the Screen:

• Touch Screen: Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface, then click the screen lock icon to turn on the lock function.

• Buttons and Select Dial: Press the MENU button, rotate the select dial to choose the screen lock icon, then press the SET button to turn on the lock function.

Unlocking the Screen:

• Touch Screen: Press and hold the screen for 2 seconds to unlock.

• Buttons and Select Dial: Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds to unlock.

To enter the wireless settings menu:

Touch Screen: Slide the screen top-down to enter the menu interface and click the wireless icon.

Buttons and Select Dial: Press the MENU button, rotate the select dial to choose the wireless icon, and press the SET button.

Channel Settings: To prevent signal interference, you can change the wireless channel (01-32). The sender and receiver units must be set to the same channel. Use the touch screen or buttons to select and change the channel.

ID Settings: To further avoid interference, change the wireless ID (OFF/01-99). The sender and receiver units must have the same ID to be triggered. Use the touch screen or buttons to select and change the ID.

Wireless Sync: This function helps quickly set the sender and receiver to the same channel and ID. On the GODOX IT30PRO F, select the SYNC icon. On the receiver unit (e.g., another iT30Pro or Lux Master), select its SYNC icon. For a sender unit like the X3, select the SYNC icon on both devices.

The sync cord jack is a Φ2.5mm plug. You can insert a trigger plug into this jack, and the flash will be fired synchronously with the camera shutter.

To avoid overheating and deteriorating the flash head, do not fire more than the number of continuous flashes listed below. In HSS mode, do not fire more than 40 continuous flashes at 1/1 full power in fast succession.

If you exceed these limits, the inner over-temperature protection may activate, increasing the recycle time to over 10 seconds. If this occurs, allow the flash to rest for about 10 minutes to return to normal. When over-temperature protection starts, an icon will be shown on the LCD display.

If your GODOX IT30PRO F is not triggering wirelessly, check the following:

1. 2.4G Signal Interference: Wireless base stations, 2.4G Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth, etc., can cause interference. Try adjusting the channel setting on your flash trigger (add 10+ channels) to find an undisturbed channel, or turn off other 2.4G equipment.

2. Flash Recycle Status: Ensure the flash has finished recycling (the flash ready indicator is lit) and is not in an over-heat protection state. If shooting continuously, you may need to downgrade the flash power output. If in TTL mode, try changing to M mode.

3. Distance Too Close: Check if the distance between the flash trigger and the flash is less than 0.5m. If so, turn on the “close distance wireless mode” on your trigger (e.g., set C.Fn-DIST to 0-30m on Xpro/X2T triggers).

4. Low Battery: Check if the flash trigger and the receiver have low batteries. Replace or charge them as needed.

5. Outdated Firmware: Check if the firmware for your flash trigger and camera is up to date. Upgrade the firmware if necessary.

• Attach the camera’s mounting foot securely to the camera.

• If the electrical contacts of the camera flash and camera are dirty, clean the contacts with a dry cloth.

• If the sync icons are not displayed in the camera’s view finder, wait until the flash is fully recycled and the flash ready indicator lights up.

• If the flash ready indicator does not light up after a long wait, check if the battery power is low. If it is, replace or charge the battery immediately.

• Standby Mode (Wi-off/Sender): If the standby function is on, the flash will enter sleep mode automatically after 90 seconds of idle use. Press the camera shutter halfway or any button to wake the flash unit.

• Auto Power Off: If the auto-off function is on, the flash will automatically shut down after 60 minutes (or 30/90 minutes) of idle use. You will need to restart the flash unit.

• If you used high-speed sync, the effective flash range will be shorter. Make sure the subject is within the displayed effective flash range.

• If the subject appears too dark or too bright, set the proper Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) value.

This product supports firmware upgrade through its USB-C port using a USB-C cable (sold separately). The upgrade requires the “Godox G3 V1.1 firmware upgrade software”. Download and install this software first, then choose the related firmware file for your device. Please refer to the latest electronic version of the instruction manual for detailed steps.

The GODOX IT30PRO F is compatible with the following Fujifilm camera models, which are categorized based on their flash control systems:

A Class: X-Pro2, X-T20, X-T2, X-T1, GFX50s, GFX50R, X-T30, X-T4, X-T3, X-S20, X-T5

B Class: X-Pro1, X-T10, X-E1, X-A3

C Class: X100F, X100T

The supported functions vary by camera class. Note: X100T does not support second curtain sync (REAR).
