To install the batteries, slide open the cover on the back of the remote control. Insert the two included batteries, making sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends with the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. Once the batteries are in place, slide the cover back on until it clicks shut.

The EPSON LIFESTUDIO GRAND EH-LS670W offers multiple connection options:

• eARC/ARC compatible AV system: Use an Ethernet compatible HDMI cable to connect your AV system to the HDMI 2 (eARC/ARC) port.

• Other HDMI devices: Connect devices such as camcorders, Blu-ray players, or gaming consoles to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 3 ports.

• Headphones: Plug wired headphones into the 3.5mm audio out jack.

• External Speakers: Connect an external audio system, like a soundbar, using the Optical Out port.

• USB Devices: Connect devices like digital cameras or USB flash drives to the USB-A ports.

Place the EPSON LIFESTUDIO GRAND EH-LS670W on a stable, level surface parallel to your screen or wall. For proper ventilation and clearance, ensure there is at least 11.9 inches (30.1 cm) of space between the back of the projector and the wall, and at least 4.0 inches (10 cm) of space on both sides of the projector.

To achieve your desired 16:9 screen size, place the EPSON LIFESTUDIO GRAND EH-LS670W according to the distances in the table below. The distances correspond to the numbered labels in the installation diagram:

• Distance 1: From the back of the projector to the screen surface.

• Distance 2: From the front of the projector to the screen surface.

• Distance 3: From the surface the projector is on to the bottom of the projected image.

Follow these steps to turn on your projector:

1. Connect the power cable firmly into the power inlet on the back of the projector.

2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a working electrical outlet.

3. Press the power button on the top of the projector. The status light will turn blue, indicating the projector is on.

You can adjust the image in the following ways:

• Image Size: To make the projected image larger, move the projector closer to the screen. To make the image smaller, move the projector further away from the screen.

• Image Shape/Level: If the image is tilted or not level, you can adjust the feet on the bottom of the projector. Turn the feet to raise or lower the corners of the projector until the image is perfectly rectangular on your screen.

To adjust the image focus, locate the focus lever on the side of the EPSON LIFESTUDIO GRAND EH-LS670W. Move the lever up or down until the projected image appears sharp and clear.

During the initial setup process, a screen will appear prompting you to pair your remote control. To pair it, hold down the ‘Home’ and ‘Enter’ buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds while keeping the remote near the projector. Once paired, you can proceed with the setup by selecting your language.

To check for and install the latest firmware updates, follow these steps:

1. From the Google TV home screen, navigate to and select Apps.

2. Find and open the Epson Projector Update application.

3. If the application is not installed, use the search function to find “Epson Projector Update” and install it from the app store. Then, open the app to check for updates.
