Step 4. Select Projector > Bluetooth Speaker Mode. The Bluetooth Speaker Mode screen is displayed.

Step 5. Enable the Bluetooth function on the device you want to connect and select the projector’s name from the available device list.

The projected image turns off 10 seconds after the Bluetooth connection is established.

Step 6. Press the Esc button to exit Bluetooth Speaker Mode.

You can stream entertainment from your favorite apps on your phone, tablet, or laptop to the projector using Google Cast.

Step 1. Connect your device or computer to the same wireless network as the projector.

Step 2. Open the Google Cast-enabled app and press the Cast icon.

Step 3. Select your projector from the list of devices. The app will connect and start casting.

Step 4. To stop casting, press the Cast icon in the app and choose the disconnect option.

You can get the latest version of the projector firmware by using the Epson Projector Update app.

Step 1. Press the Home button on the remote control.

Attention: While updating the firmware, do not operate or turn off the projector.

Attention: Do not use canned air, as the gases may leave a flammable residue.

If the projector does not turn on when you press the power button, try these steps:

Step 1. Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the projector, to a working electrical outlet, and to the AC adapter.

Step 2. If you are using the remote control, check the batteries of the remote control.

Step 3. The power cord or the AC adapter may be defective. Disconnect the cord and contact Epson for help.

If the projector’s light source turns off unexpectedly, try the following solutions:

• The projector may have turned off due to the Shut-Off Timer setting. Press the power button to turn it back on. You can adjust this setting in System > Power & Energy > Shut-Off Timer.
• If there is no input signal for a set period, the projector may enter standby mode based on the No signal standby timeout setting. Press the power button to wake it. This setting is in Channels & Inputs > Inputs > HDMI 1 > No signal standby timeout.
• If the status indicator is lit orange, the projector has overheated and turned off. Let it cool down and check for blocked vents.

If no image is displayed, try the following:

• Check the projector’s status indicator to ensure it’s in normal operating status. Press the power button to wake it from standby.
• Check cable connections. Ensure they are secure and the power is on. Try connecting the video source directly to the projector or using a shorter HDMI cable.
• Check your video source. Turn it on and press play if necessary. If projecting from a laptop, ensure it is set to display on an external monitor.
• Ensure your Wi-Fi is on if trying to view online content.
• Turn off the projector and the connected video source, then turn them back on.
• Reset all projector settings to their default values.

If only a partial image is displayed:

• Adjust the image position using the Zoom & Shift setting.
