Use both hands to lift your machine out of the box, holding it by its base. Do not lift it out by the loop amplifier.

Place the remote control on top of the machine with the buttons facing down.

Press the Standby on/off button on your Dyson purifying fan heater or on the remote control to stop your machine. When in standby, it will continue to monitor the air quality.

Continuous monitoring allows your Dyson purifying fan heater to gather particulate matter and temperature information, which is displayed on the LCD screen. It is turned off by default. To turn it on, press and hold the Auto mode button on the remote control for 5 seconds. The LCD screen will indicate when continuous monitoring is turned on or off. Once turned on, it remains active until turned off again.

Press the Information menu button on the remote control to scroll through the information being monitored. Information about particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), indoor temperature, and filter life is shown on the LCD screen. When a particular type of pollutant causes air quality to decrease, a symbol for that pollutant will appear on the screen.

Set your Dyson purifying fan heater to Auto mode using the Auto mode button on the remote. The on-board sensors will intelligently adjust the machine’s settings according to the air quality. The machine will pause when the target air quality is reached and switch back on when air quality levels drop. The airflow speed will increase until the target air quality and temperature are reached.

Press the Airflow speed toggle button on the remote control to increase or decrease the airflow speed.

Press the Oscillation button on the remote control to circulate the air around the room. You can scroll through the oscillation angle settings from 0° to 350° by repeatedly pressing the button.

In Night mode, the machine continues to monitor and respond to air quality changes but uses its quietest settings and dims the LCD screen. Press the Night mode and Sleep timer button on the remote control to activate Night mode or scroll through the sleep timer options.

Heating mode: Press the Heating control button on the remote to set the required room temperature. Your machine will heat until the target temperature is reached and then pause.

Cooling mode: Press the Cooling mode button on the remote to switch your machine from Heating mode to Cooling mode (fan only).

The remaining filter life is displayed on the LCD screen. It will indicate when your non-washable filter needs replacing. You can also check the filter life via the Information menu button on your remote.

1. Before changing your filter, switch off and unplug your machine.

2. Push down on the buttons located on either side of your machine to release the outer cover (shroud).

3. Push down on the tabs on the filter to remove it from the outer cover.

4. Push the replacement filter into the outer cover, ensuring the tabs click securely into place.

5. Place the outer covers back into position on your machine and push firmly until they both click securely into position.

6. Plug in and switch on your machine.

7. Reset the filter life.

It’s important to reset the filter life after replacement. Press and hold the Night mode button on your remote control for 5 seconds. The display on your machine will countdown from five, indicating the filter life has been reset and your machine is ready to use.

To always get the best performance, it’s important to regularly clean your machine and check for blockages.

If your machine is dusty, wipe it with a damp lint-free cloth.

Look for blockages in the air inlet holes on the filter and the small aperture inside the loop amplifier.

Use a soft brush to remove dust and debris.

Do not use detergents or polishes to clean your machine.

If your machine displays an error code, try turning it off and then on again. If this doesn’t clear the error code, contact Dyson Customer Care.
