The low static speed tap 4 is for external static pressures below 0.5″ WC. The high static speed tap 5 is used for external static exceeding 0.5″ WC. To adjust the speed, move the blue wire to the appropriate speed tap on the motor terminal block as required by the application.

The airflow for the continuous fan (speed tap 1) is always set at 50% of the speed tap 4 airflow.

Electrical Wiring: Power Wiring Grounding

• Field wiring must comply with the National Electrical Code.

• This product must be sufficiently grounded in accordance with (C.E.C. in Canada) and any applicable local ordinance.

• Supply wiring must be 75°C minimum copper conductors only, in accordance with the National Electrical Code (C.E.C. in Canada) and any applicable local ordinance.

Several accessories are available for the DURASTAR DRF2TA3624ASTNJB1F:

• Drain Pan Over Flow Switch (RXHK-A01): This switch detects a condensate drain blockage and shuts down the outdoor unit to prevent structural damage.

• Bottom Return Conversion Kit (RXHK-B02): This kit is used to divert the return air from the standard front return to a bottom return configuration. It is compatible with indoor unit model DRF2TA-FR36.

• Louvered Cabinet Grill (RXHK-C02): This is a decorative grill that covers the return air opening of the front return air handler. It is compatible with indoor unit model DRF2TA-FR36.
