• Refrain from sitting on the seat for long periods to avoid low-temperature burns. For individuals who may be more susceptible (young children, the elderly, the ill, or those on certain medications), another person should turn off the toilet seat heater and set the dryer temperature to “Low”.

• If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer’s repair department or an equivalent specialist to avoid danger.

Electrical Safety:

• Do not use any power supply other than the specified AC 120 V, 60 Hz to prevent fire or excessive heat.

• Do not touch the power cord connection with wet hands, or during thunderstorms, to avoid electrical shock.

Physical Interaction:

• Do not stick a finger or anything else into the warm air outlet, and do not place anything on it or drape clothes over it.

• Do not install the product on moving vehicles like wheeled vehicles or boats.

• Do not do anything that may damage the power cord or power source connection, such as striking, yanking, twisting, or placing heavy objects on it.

To reduce the risk of electrocution with your TOTO SW4736AT40, follow these DANGER instructions:

1. Do not use the product while bathing.

2. Do not place or store the product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

Grounding Instructions:

This product must be grounded. Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. The product is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. This plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. If repair or replacement of the cord is necessary, do not connect the grounding wire to a flat-head terminal. Please observe the following cautions for safe operation and to prevent damage to your TOTO SW4736AT40:

Product Stability and Integrity:

• Do not use the product if the main unit is unstable, as it may come loose and fall.

• If the product is damaged, do not touch the damaged section. Replace it immediately.

• Do not apply strong force, mechanical shock, step on, or stand on the toilet seat, lid, or main unit. Do not place heavy objects on them.

• Do not lift the product by the toilet seat or lid. Do not raise the seat or lid while objects are resting on top of the unit.

• Push the main unit securely onto the base plate until you hear a click sound to prevent it from coming loose.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• When cleaning plastic parts, use a pH neutral kitchen detergent diluted with water. Do not use toilet cleaner, household cleaner, benzene, paint thinner, powdered cleanser, or a nylon scrubbing brush, as they can damage the plastic.

• To prevent a sudden water leak, do not remove the drain plug with water supply filter when the shutoff valve is open.

Water Supply and Freezing:

• Do not fold, crush, or damage the water supply hose.

• If a water leak occurs, always close the shutoff valve.

• In ambient temperatures of 32 °F (0 °C) or lower, prevent damage from freezing by regulating room temperature or draining the water.

• When not using the product for a long time, close the shutoff valve, drain the water, and turn the power OFF.

Operation:

• If the bowl is clogged, turn the power OFF and remove the clog before allowing auto flush to function to prevent overflow.

Batteries (for remote control):

• Make sure the plus and minus signs on the batteries are correct before inserting them.

• Remove depleted batteries immediately. When replacing, use two new batteries of the same brand.

• If the product will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent fluid leakage.

About the Built-in Body Sensor (for auto open/close)

The body sensor detects human movement. Be aware of the following:

• The sensor may detect movement through a door or wall, triggering the toilet lid to open.

• Depending on bathroom layout, the sensor may not detect properly, resulting in the lid not opening automatically.

• The sensor may not properly detect small children, and the lid may not open.

• When using the toilet in a standing position, the time it takes for “Auto flushing” or for the lid/seat to close depends on the bathroom layout.

• Do not block the body sensor. Detection may be difficult if the room temperature exceeds 30 °C (86 °F), if sunlight or a heater is directly on the sensor, or if the bathroom door is open.

About the Built-in Seat Sensor

The seat sensor turns on when you sit on the seat. For proper detection:

• Sit on the seat so the sensor touches your skin directly. A label indicates the sensor’s position.

• Detection may be difficult for small children depending on how they sit.

• The sensor may not detect properly if there is a seat cover or clothing between you and the seat.

• If you use a booster seat for infants, the sensor may not detect properly, and the lid may close automatically. Turn “Auto open / close” OFF before use.

• Wipe off any water droplets on the seat sensor, as they may cause a malfunction.

For Prevention of Damage:

• Wipe plastic areas like the main unit and remote control with a soft cloth tightly wrung out with water.

• Do not lean against the toilet lid.

• Do not use the product with the toilet lid removed.

• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, as it may cause color changes or malfunctions.

• Keep radios and similar devices away from the product to avoid interference with the radio signal.

• If you use a booster seat for infants, remove it after use.

• Do not urinate on the main unit, toilet seat, or wand.

• When using a toilet cleaner, rinse it off within 3 minutes and leave the toilet seat and lid open to prevent vapors from causing a malfunction. Wipe off any cleaner that remains on the bowl.

For Prevention of Malfunctions and Failures:

• Do not block the remote control transmitter or receiver.

• Turn the power OFF if there is a risk of a lightning strike.

• A toilet seat cover or toilet lid cover cannot be used, as it may interfere with the body and seat sensors and prevent the lid/seat from opening or closing properly.

• Do not apply strong force to the remote control. Set it in the hanger when not in use to prevent it from being dropped. Be careful not to expose it to water.

• Do not place anything on the toilet seat or press it with your hands, as this may activate the seat sensor and cause the wand to spray water.

1. Insert the battery in the remote control

1.1. Remove the remote control from the hanger.

1.2. Open the battery cover, insert two AAA dry cell, alkaline batteries, and close the cover. When batteries are properly loaded, all LEDs on the remote control will light up for about 2 seconds.

1.3. Mount the remote control in the hanger.

2. Turn on the power

2.1. Insert the power plug. The wand will extend and then retract.

2.2. Check that the “Power” LED on the main unit illuminates.

If the light is off, switch the power to “ON” using the remote control. You can do this from the back of the remote by pressing the “Power ON/OFF” button for 3 seconds or longer, or from the front by pressing and holding the “Stop” and “Water pressure +” buttons for about 10 seconds, then pressing the “+” button, then the “-” button, then the “+” button again.

3. Open the shutoff valve

3.1. Fully open the shutoff valve.

The TOTO SW4736AT40 uses “EWATER+” (electrolyzed water) to automatically clean the wand and bowl. The sequence of automatic functions, based on default settings, is as follows:

1. As you approach:

• Auto open / close: The toilet lid opens automatically.

• Auto bowl CLEAN (Pre-mist): A mist is automatically sprayed inside the bowl to make it more difficult for dirt to adhere. The Bowl light lights up.

2. As you sit:

• Deodorizer: The deodorizer starts automatically to remove odors inside the bowl.

3. As you stand up:

• Auto power deodorizer: Starts about 10 seconds after you stand up and stops after about 60 seconds.

• Auto flushing: About 10 seconds after you stand up, the toilet flushes. The type of flush (light or full) depends on how long you were seated.

• Auto wand CLEAN: Only if washing functions were used. About 25 seconds after standing, the wand extends and cleans itself with EWATER+.

• Auto bowl CLEAN (After-mist): If washing functions were not used, after about 25 seconds, an EWATER+ mist is sprayed on the bowl.

4. As you move away:

• Auto flushing (for standing use): The toilet performs a light flush.

• Auto open / close: The toilet lid and seat close automatically.

Note: These mechanisms can be changed in the settings.

Operate the controls on the front of the remote control. A beep sounds when the main unit receives the signal. The basic functions are:

• Stop: Stops the Rear washing, Front washing, or Warm air drying operation.

• Rear washing: Washes your rear.

• Rear soft washing: Washes your rear with a soft, embracing water flow.

• Front washing: Serves as a bidet for ladies.

• Wide front washing: Gently washes a wide area.

• Warm air drying: Dries your rear.

• Water pressure adjustment (+/-): Adjusts the water pressure to one of five levels. [-] is softer, [+] is stronger.

• Wand position adjustment (▲/▼): Adjusts the washing position to 5 different points between front and rear.

• Pulsating washing: Washes with water pressure pulsating between soft and strong.

• Oscillating washing: The wand moves back and forth to wash your rear thoroughly.

Note: Washing and drying functions cannot be used if the seat sensor is not activated. Sit down so the seat sensor touches your skin directly.

The TOTO SW4736AT40 remote control includes several advanced functions:

• Wand CLEAN: Press to clean the wand with EWATER+. Water will also come out from around the wand after cleaning.

• Power deodorizer: Press to increase suction power and remove odor. This can only be used when seated.

• Flushing (Full/Light): Performs a full or light flush. (Button type varies by toilet model).

• Opening/closing the toilet seat and lid: Use the dedicated buttons to open and close the toilet lid, or the toilet seat and lid together.

• Personal setting: Up to four people can register their preferred “Water pressure,” “Wand position,” and “Warm water temperature” settings. Press the button to select your registered profile (1-4), then press the desired wash button.

• Low battery warning mark: This symbol will appear when the remote control batteries are low.

Buttons on the back of the remote control are used for configuration:

• “Power ON/OFF” button: Press and hold for 3 seconds or longer to turn the WASHLET operation ON/OFF.

• Energy Saver Buttons: Set Auto energy saver, Auto energy saver+, or Timer energy saver modes.

• Auto open/close ON/OFF: Changes the setting for the automatic lid function.

• Wand cleaning / Manual spray: Initiates wand cleaning or sprays an EWATER+ mist on the bowl.

• Temperature Buttons: Adjust Warm water, Toilet seat, and Drying air temperatures.

• Setting confirmation: The current setting can be discerned from the LEDs.

• Auto flushing ON/OFF: Changes the setting for the automatic flushing function.

You can set five different temperature levels (from low to high) and “OFF” for the water and seat.

1. Remove the remote control from the hanger.

2. On the back of the remote, choose and press the button for the temperature you want to set:

• Warm water temperature button

• Toilet seat temperature button

• Drying air temperature button

The current temperature level will appear on the front display.

3. Press the selected button repeatedly until your desired temperature level illuminates on the front display. The setting changes each time the button is pressed, cycling through the levels.

4. When finished, mount the remote control back in the hanger.

Note: The “Drying” air temperature cannot be turned “OFF”. If a button is not pressed for about 10 seconds, the display light will go off, but the setting will be retained.

To turn the warm water or toilet seat temperature “OFF”:

1. Remove the remote control from the hanger.

2. Select the “Toilet seat temperature” or “Warm water temperature” button on the back and press it.

3. Press the selected button repeatedly until the temperature level is set to “OFF”.

4. Mount the remote control in the hanger.

The following is a list of functions that can be customized on your TOTO SW4736AT40. The initial (default) setting is shown in bold.

You can select “Auto energy saver”, “Auto energy saver+”, or “Timer energy saver” to reduce power consumption.

To set “Auto energy saver” or “Auto energy saver+”:

1. Press the “Auto energy saver” button on the back of the remote control.

2. The setting changes each time the button is pressed, cycling through “Auto energy saver” (LED lit), “Auto energy saver+” (LED lit), and “OFF” (LED off).

• Auto energy saver: The product learns periods of infrequent use and automatically lowers the toilet seat temperature.

• Auto energy saver+: In addition to the auto energy saver feature, it also turns off the toilet seat heater during periods when the toilet is not used.

To set “Timer energy saver”:

Set this feature at the time you want the energy-saving period to start. For example, to save energy for 6 hours starting at 1 a.m.:

1. At 1:00 a.m., press the “Timer energy saver” button on the back of the remote control.

2. Press the button repeatedly until the “6” LED illuminates on the front. This will turn off the toilet seat heater for 6 hours every day starting at 1 a.m. You can also select 9 hours.

To turn Auto Flushing ON/OFF:

1. Press the “Auto flushing” button on the back of the remote control.

2. The setting changes each time the button is pressed. Check the “Auto flushing” LED on the front to see if it is set to “ON” (lit) or “OFF” (unlit).

To change the Auto Flush Delay (time before flush):

1. Press and hold the “Stop” button on the front of the remote until all LEDs start flashing (about 10 seconds).

2. Press the “Rear washing” button.

3. Press the “Front washing” button.

4. Choose and press a button to set the delay:

• Press “Water pressure -” button for SET 1 (Short, ~5 seconds).

• Press “Rear washing” button for SET 2 (Standard, ~10 seconds).

• Press “Water pressure +” button for SET 3 (Long, ~15 seconds).

To set Auto Flush Lid Closed (close lid before flushing):

1. Press and hold the “Stop” button on the front of the remote until all LEDs start flashing (about 10 seconds).

2. Press the “Rear washing” button.

3. Press the “Water pressure +” button.

4. Choose the setting:

• Press “Rear washing” button to turn ON (short beep).

• Press “Front washing” button to turn OFF (long beep).

To turn Auto Open / Close ON or OFF:

1. Press the “Auto open / close” button on the front of the remote. The setting changes each time the button is pressed. Check the corresponding LED to confirm if it is ON (lit) or OFF (unlit).

To change the Auto Close Delay (time before lid/seat closes):

1. Press and hold the “Stop” button on the front of the remote until all LEDs start flashing (about 10 seconds).

2. Press the “Front washing” button.

3. Press the “Rear washing” button.

4. Choose the delay time:

• Press “Water pressure -” for SET 1 (Short, ~25 seconds).

• Press “Water pressure +” for SET 2 (Standard, ~90 seconds).

To change the Auto Open Delay (time before lid opens after closing):

1. Press and hold the “Stop” button on the front of the remote until all LEDs start flashing (about 10 seconds).

2. Press the “Front washing” button.

3. Press the “Water pressure +” button.

4. Choose the delay time:

• Press “Rear washing” button for SET 1 (Standard, ~15 seconds).

• Press “Front washing” button for SET 2 (Middle, ~30 seconds).

• Press “Water pressure -” button for SET 3 (Long, ~90 seconds).

To choose whether the Lid or Seat and Lid opens automatically:

1. Press and hold the “Stop” button on the front of the remote until all LEDs start flashing (about 10 seconds).

2. Press the “Front washing” button.

3. Press the “Water pressure -” button.

4. Choose the setting:

• Press “Rear washing” button for “Lid only” (long beep).

• Press “Front washing” button for “Seat and lid” (short beep).

To set Auto Wand CLEAN:

1. Press and hold “Stop” until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Water pressure +” button.

3. Press “Rear washing” button.

4. Press “Water pressure +” for ON (short beep) or “Water pressure -” for OFF (long beep).

To set Auto Bowl CLEAN (pre-mist/after-mist):

1. Press and hold “Stop” until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Water pressure +” button.

3. Press “Front washing” button.

4. Press “Water pressure +” to “spray” (ON, short beep) or “Water pressure -” to “do not spray” (OFF, long beep).

To set Deodorizer (when seated):

1. Press and hold “Stop” until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Water pressure -” button.

3. Press “Front washing” button.

4. Press “Water pressure +” for ON (short beep) or “Water pressure -” for OFF (long beep).

To set Auto Power Deodorizer (after standing up):

1. Press and hold “Stop” until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Water pressure -” button.

3. Press “Water pressure +” button.

4. Press “Rear washing” for ON (short beep) or “Front washing” for OFF (long beep).

To set Night Light (changes Soft/Bowl light to night mode):

1. Press and hold “Stop” and “Water pressure +” buttons until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Front washing” button.

3. Press “Water pressure +” button.

4. Choose the setting:

• Press “Rear washing” for ON (short beep).

• Press “Front washing” for STANDBY (OFF) (long beep).

• Press “Water pressure -” for TIMER (set a time window) (short beep).

To turn Soft Light ON/OFF:

1. Press and hold “Stop” and “Water pressure +” buttons until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Rear washing” button.

3. Press “Front washing” button.

4. Press “Water pressure +” for ON (short beep) or “Water pressure -” for OFF (long beep).

To turn Bowl Light ON/OFF:

1. Press and hold “Stop” and “Water pressure +” buttons until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Rear washing” button.

3. Press “Water pressure +” button.

4. Press “Rear washing” for ON (short beep) or “Front washing” for OFF (long beep).

You can register preferred settings for “Wand position”, “Water pressure”, and “Warm water temperature” for up to four users.

To Register a Personal Setting:

1. Press the “Personal setting lock” button (icon with 4 dots) to select the location you wish to register (Register 1, 2, 3, or 4). The setting changes each time the button is pressed.

2. During a wash function (like “Rear washing”), adjust the Wand position, Water pressure, and Warm water temperature to your preference using their respective buttons.

3. Press and hold the “Personal setting lock” button for about 5 seconds or longer. The setting is now registered.

To Use a Personal Setting:

1. Press the “Personal setting lock” button to turn on the LED for your registered location (1-4).

2. Press the wash button you want to use (e.g., “Rear washing”).

To Turn the Personal Setting Memory ON/OFF:

This setting determines whether the product remembers the last used pressure and position.

1. Press and hold the “Stop” and “Water pressure +” buttons until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

2. Press “Rear washing” button.

3. Press “Water pressure +” button.

4. Press “Front washing” button. The current setting is displayed.

5. Press “Water pressure -” button to toggle between ON and OFF.

6. Press “Stop” button to complete.

You can change when the toilet lid opens upon entering the bathroom by adjusting the body sensor’s detection range.

1. Press and hold the “Stop” button on the front of the remote until all LEDs on the remote control start flashing (about 10 seconds).

2. Press the “Front washing” button.

3. Press the “Rear washing” button.

4. Press the “Front washing” button again. The current setting is displayed via the “Water pressure” LEDs.

5. Use the “Water pressure -” and “Water pressure +” buttons to select a setting from SET 1 to SET 5. The setting changes each time a button is pressed.

• SET 1 (Shortest): Detects nearer

• SET 5 (Longest): Detects farther

6. Press the “Stop” button to complete the setting.

Cleaning the Main Unit (Approximately daily):

1. Turn the power “OFF”.

2. Wipe the unit with a soft cloth that has been soaked in water and wrung out thoroughly. For heavy dirt, use a soft cloth with diluted, pH neutral kitchen detergent, then wipe again with a water-soaked cloth.

3. Turn the power “ON”.

Attention: This is an electric appliance. Be careful not to let water seep inside or leave detergent in the gap between the main unit and bowl unit. Do not put cleaning solution directly on the warm air outlet or wand cover.

Cleaning Between the Main Unit and Bowl Unit (Approximately once a month):

1. Turn the power “OFF”.

2. Press the “Main unit removal button” and pull the main unit toward you to remove it from the base plate.

3. Clean the top of the bowl unit and the bottom of the main unit with a soft cloth and diluted detergent.

4. Mount the main unit back onto the base plate, aligning it and pressing firmly until a click is heard.

5. Turn the power “ON”.

Cleaning the Toilet Lid (Approximately once a month):

1. Turn the power “OFF” and remove the main unit.

2. To remove the toilet lid, slightly tilt it forward, pull the left side outward to disconnect the hinge, and then remove the lid.

3. Wipe the lid with a soft cloth soaked in water and wrung out.

4. Reinstall the lid by aligning the right side pin and hinge, then pulling the left side outward to mount the hinge with the tab.

5. Reinstall the main unit and turn the power “ON”.

To clean the wand if you notice dirt (approximately once a month):

1. Extend the wand.

You can do this from the back of the remote control by pressing the “Wand cleaning” button. Alternatively, you can extend it from the front of the remote control:

• Press and hold the “Stop” and “Water pressure +” buttons until remote LEDs flash (about 10 seconds).

• Press “Water pressure +” button.

• Press “Front washing” button.

• Press “Rear washing” button.

The wand will extend and spray water for cleaning. It automatically retracts after about 5 minutes.

2. Wipe the extended wand.

Wipe the wand with a soft cloth that has been soaked in water and wrung out thoroughly.

Attention: Do not pull, push, or press the wand with excessive force, as this may cause damage or malfunction.

3. Retract the wand.

Press the “Stop” button on the remote control. The wand will retract.

Cleaning the Deodorizing Filter (Approximately once a month):

1. Turn the power “OFF”.

2. Locate the deodorizing filter on the right side of the main unit. Hold the tab and pull outward to remove it.

3. Clean the filter with a tool such as a toothbrush. If washing with water, dry it completely before reinserting.

4. Reinsert the deodorizing filter, pushing it firmly until a click sound is heard.

5. Turn the power “ON”.

Cleaning the Drain Plug with Water Supply Filter (Approximately every 6 months, or if water pressure is weak):

1. Close the shutoff valve to stop the water supply.

2. Press the “Wand CLEAN” button to release pressure from the water supply pipe.

3. Turn the power “OFF”.

4. Open the toilet seat and lid.

5. On the front-left side of the unit, open the cover by inserting a flat-head screwdriver in the hook. Then, use the screwdriver to loosen the drain plug and pull it out.

6. Clean the filter with a tool such as a toothbrush. Also remove any dust from inside the hole of the drain plug.

7. Reinstall the drain plug using the screwdriver to tighten it securely. Close the cover until you hear a click.

8. Turn the power “ON”.

9. Open the shutoff valve.

If there is a water service interruption, follow these steps:

1. Before starting, turn “Auto flushing” OFF in the settings.

2. To flush the toilet, use a large bucket to pour water strongly into the center of the bowl unit.

3. If the water level in the bowl is low after flushing, add more water to prevent odors.

4. When the water supply is restored, first use water in a bath or kitchen to remove air from the water supply pipes before using the TOTO SW4736AT40. This prevents air or foreign objects from entering the product.

5. After water is restored, perform a full flush with the toilet.

If the low battery warning mark on the remote control is flashing, please replace the batteries.

Replacing the batteries:

1. Unplug the power plug for the main unit.

2. Remove the remote control from its hanger.

3. Open the battery cover and replace both with new AAA batteries. The low battery warning mark should disappear.

4. Mount the remote control in the hanger.

5. Turn the power “ON”.

Attention: “ON” and “OFF” settings for functions like the energy saver may be canceled when the batteries are replaced. You will need to set them again.

When the ambient temperature is likely to drop to 32 °F (0 °C) or lower, take measures to prevent freezing.

Attention: Do not use the energy saver feature in these conditions, as it may damage the product.

Method 1: Keep the Bathroom Warm

1. Set “Auto flush” and “Auto open/close” to “OFF”.

2. Set the toilet seat temperature to “High”.

3. To maintain the temperature, close the toilet seat and toilet lid after finishing work.

Method 2: Drain the Water (If bathroom cannot be heated)

1. Before starting, set “Auto flush” and “Auto open/close” to “OFF”.

2. Close the shutoff valve.

3. Drain the water from the toilet tank (manipulate the flush lever/button until water stops).

4. Press the “Wand CLEAN” button to release pressure from the supply pipe.

5. Turn the power “OFF”.

6. Drain the pipe by opening the drain plug with water supply filter located on the side of the unit.

7. If the water supply hose is exposed, drain the water from it as well.

8. Reinstall the drain plug and close the cover.

If the toilet will not be used for a long time, drain the water to prevent malfunctions or contamination.

1. Close the shutoff valve. The water supply will stop.

2. Drain the water from the toilet tank by manipulating the flush lever/button until the water stops.

3. Press the “Wand CLEAN” button on the remote control to release the pressure from the water supply pipe.

4. Turn the power “OFF” by unplugging the unit.

5. Drain the pipe:

• Open the toilet seat and lid.

• Insert a flat-head screwdriver in the hook of the cover on the side of the unit to open it.

• Loosen the drain plug with water supply filter with the screwdriver and then pull it out.

6. Once drained, reinstall the drain plug and close the cover.

If there is a risk of freezing, you can add antifreeze solution to the water in the bowl. Collect it before using the toilet again and dispose of it properly.

1. Open the shutoff valve. Check that water is not leaking from a pipe or the main unit.

2. If the power is not on, turn the power ON. The “Power” LED will illuminate.

3. Discharge water from the wand:

• Keep your hand or arm in contact with the seat sensor to activate it.

• Press the “Rear washing” button to discharge water from the wand. You can catch the water in a paper cup.

• Move your hand or arm away from the seat sensor.

If the remaining water has frozen and no water comes out:

Heat the inside of the bathroom, and warm the water supply hose and shutoff valve using a cloth soaked in warm water.

Before calling for service, please check the following:

A: Is the Power LED illuminated? (Is the main unit working?)

• Is the breaker on the distribution board turned on? Check for a power outage or a tripped breaker.

• Is the “Power ON/OFF” setting on the remote control set to “OFF”? Switch it to “ON”.

• Is the “Power” LED on the main display flashing? This means the main unit is not mounted properly. Mount it correctly.

B: Is the Energy saver LED lit?

• While the LED is lit, the energy saver is in operation. This may cause the toilet seat temperature to be reduced or the heater to be turned off.

C: Is the remote control working?

• Is the low battery warning mark flashing? Replace the batteries.

• Is the remote control transmitter or the remote control receiver on the main unit blocked? Remove any obstructions, dirt, or water droplets.

If the wand or washing water does not come out, or if the pressure is weak, please check the following:

• Seat Sensor: Are you sitting properly on the toilet seat? Ensure your skin is in direct contact with the seat sensor. Seat covers or clothing can block it.

• Water Temperature: When the ambient temperature is low, it takes time for the water to warm up before the wand comes out.

• Water Failure: Has a water failure occurred? If so, press the “Stop” button and wait for service to be restored.

• Shutoff Valve: Is the shutoff valve fully open?

• Filter: Is the drain plug with water supply filter clogged? Clean the filter.

• Pressure Setting: Is the water pressure set to a low level? Adjust it.

• Safety Stop: If the toilet has been used continuously for 2 hours or longer, operation may stop for safety. Stand up from the seat and then use it again. A significant drop in water supply pressure can also trigger a safety stop; in this case, turn the power off and on again.

If a function stops unexpectedly, check the following:

• Automatic Stop: “Rear washing,” “Front washing,” and related functions stop automatically after about 5 minutes of continuous use. The warm air dryer stops after about 10 minutes.

• Seat Sensor Detection: Does the seat sensor have difficulty detecting you? If you get up slightly or shift your weight to the side while on the seat, the sensor may temporarily stop detecting your presence, causing the function to stop. Ensure you are sitting firmly on the seat so your skin touches the sensor.

If auto flushing is not working or is delayed, please check the following points:

• Is “Auto flushing” set to “OFF”? Set it to “ON”.

• Is this happening within 60 seconds after a previous flush? The feature is disabled for this period to prevent multiple flushes.

• Was the time spent sitting on the toilet seat less than about 6 seconds? Auto flush does not activate for very short sitting times. Use the remote control to flush.

• Are you using the toilet in a standing position? The water flows after a maximum of about 20 seconds from when you leave the bathroom.

• Does the body sensor have water droplets or dirt on it? Wipe it off.

If the toilet lid opens on its own:

• The body sensor can detect movement through a wall or door in front of the toilet, causing the lid to open. You can change the detection range of the body sensor or turn “Auto open/close” to “OFF”.

• If a urinal or wash basin is also in the bathroom, the sensor may detect someone using it, causing the lid to open.

If the toilet lid closes on its own:

• Check if “Auto open/close” is “ON”. You can turn it “OFF”.

• Is “Auto close delay” set to the shorter setting [SET 1]? You can change it to the longer delay.

• Is something interfering with the seat sensor? A toilet seat cover, clothing, or not sitting directly on the sensor can cause issues. Ensure your skin touches the sensor directly.

If Pre-mist and After-mist do not work:

• Check if “Auto bowl CLEAN” is set to “OFF”. Set it to “ON”.

• Pre-mist is not activated if you use it immediately after a previous user leaves the bathroom.

• Pre-mist does not work when the toilet seat is open.

If the Pre-mist sprays out spontaneously:

• The body sensor can detect movement through a wall or door, causing the “Auto bowl CLEAN” function to pre-mist even when you are outside the bathroom. You can set “Auto bowl CLEAN” to “OFF”.

• If the washing functions are not used for about 8 hours, “Auto bowl CLEAN” starts automatically and mist is sprayed inside the bowl unit.

You may hear sounds from the main unit even when it’s not being used for the following reasons:

• Automatic Cleaning Cycles: If “Auto wand CLEAN” or “Auto bowl CLEAN” is set to “ON” and the washing functions have not been used for about 8 hours, the unit will perform a cleaning cycle. You may hear the sound of the wand being cleaned with EWATER+ or the sound of EWATER+ mist being sprayed into the bowl.

• Post-Operation Draining: After functions like “Auto wand CLEAN” are performed, you may hear the wand extending and draining remaining water from the product.

• Fan Ventilation: You may hear the fan ventilating the unit for about 30 minutes after certain functions.

• Freeze Prevention: Operating noise may occur when the wand extends to discharge remaining water to prevent damage due to freezing.
