To enjoy all smart features and services on your TCL Q7C Google TV, a free Google account, a free TCL account, and a reliable broadband internet connection are required.

Please follow these safety precautions for your TCL Q7C:

• Ensure your domestic mains supply voltage matches the voltage indicated on the identification sticker at the back of the TV.

• The maximum ambient temperature should not exceed 35° Celsius. Do not cover the vents and leave sufficient space for adequate ventilation.

• Moisture in the room where the set is installed should not exceed 75% humidity.

• During thunderstorms, disconnect the TV set from the mains and aerial to protect it from electrical surges.

• If you notice a smell of burning or smoke, unplug the TV set immediately. Do not open the TV set yourself.

• Do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.

• To prevent the spread of fire, keep candles or other open flames away from this product at all times.

• Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine or fire.

• To prevent injury, the apparatus must be securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.

A television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:

• ALWAYS use cabinets or stands or mounting methods recommended by the manufacturer of the television set.

• ALWAYS use furniture that can safely support the television set.

• ALWAYS ensure the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.

• ALWAYS educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.

• ALWAYS route cords and cables connected to your television so they cannot be tripped over, pulled or grabbed.

• NEVER place a television set in an unstable location.

• NEVER place the television set on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the television set to a suitable support.

• NEVER place the television set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the television set and supporting furniture.

• NEVER place items that might tempt children to climb, such as toys and remote controls, on the top of the television or furniture on which the television is placed.

Use a glass-cleaning product to clean the screen and a soft cloth with mild detergent to clean the rest of the set. It is important to avoid using strong detergents, alcohol-based, and abrasive products as they may damage the screen.

You should also dust the vents at the back and sides regularly. If an object or liquid enters the appliance, unplug it immediately and have it checked by an authorized engineer.

The Bluetooth technology in your TCL Q7C uses a 2.4GHz frequency. Because of this, close proximity to Wi-Fi access points, routers, or microwave ovens might interfere with Bluetooth audio streaming. If you experience interruptions in audio reception, you should restart your Bluetooth device to find a frequency with fewer interferences. If issues persist, move closer to the TV or increase the space between the TV and the source of interference.

This operation requires at least two people, depending on your TV’s dimension. To ensure a safe installation, observe the following safety notes:

• Check that the wall can support the weight of the TV set and wall mount assembly.

• Follow the mounting instructions provided with the wall mount. For certain models, make sure to screw the hexagonal VESA wall mounting screw bosses (and screws) provided with the set into the nuts for the wall mount at the back of your set before wall mounting.

• The TV set must be installed on a vertical wall.

• Make sure to use only screws suitable for the material of the wall.

• Make sure that the TV set cables are placed so that there is no danger of tripping over them.

You can access channels on your TCL Q7C using several methods on the remote control:

• Using the Navigation Direction buttons: Press ∧/∨ on the remote control to scroll through the channels.

• Using the OK button: Press the OK button to display the channel list, then press ∧/∨/〈/〉 and OK to select channels.

• Using the CH∧/∨ buttons: Press the CH∧/∨ buttons on the remote control to scroll through the channels.

• Using the numeric buttons: Press the corresponding numeric buttons to access channels directly.

• Using the 123 button: Press 123 to display the virtual remote control keyboard. You can then use the numeric buttons or the List button to operate accordingly.

Press the source button on the remote control to display the source list. Use the 〈/〉 buttons to select TV or other input sources and press OK to confirm.

To control the volume, press the VOL+/- buttons on the remote control to increase or decrease the volume. To temporarily mute the sound, press the mute button. Press this button again or the VOL+ button to restore the sound.

1. Press the home button on the remote control to display the Smart TV homepage.

2. Press ∧/∨/〈/〉 and OK to enter the desired Apps, functions, or settings.

3. Press the back button to return to the homepage.

Note: Since the connection with the Internet takes time, it’s recommended that you wait a few minutes to use the Smart TV feature after activating the TV from standby.

The Settings menu allows you to adjust TV settings like picture and sound.

1. Press the settings button on the remote control to display the dashboard menu.

2. Select (All settings) and press OK to enter the settings menu.

3. In submenus, press ∧/∨ to select menu options, then press OK/〉 to enter the option list or the corresponding submenu, press OK to toggle on or off, or press 〈/〉 to adjust the setting.

4. Press the back button to return to the previous menu.

This section describes how to search and store channels automatically. This may be done if you skipped the channel installation in the initial setup, if you are prompted that there are no channels in TV mode, or if you want to update your channels.

1. In TV mode, press the settings button on the remote control and select (All settings) > Channels and inputs > Channels > Channel scan. Press OK/〉 to enter.

2. The TV installs and arranges channels according to your country or region. Press ∧/∨ to select Country/Region, and press OK/〉 to enter. Enter the password you have set in the (All settings) > System > Lock menu. Press ∧/∨ to select your country or region and press OK to confirm.

3. Press ∧/∨ to select Automatic search and press OK to enter.

4. Press ∧/∨ to select Tuner mode and press 〈/〉 to select Cable, Antenna, or Satellite. (Note: The Satellite option is available only in selected models.)

5. Press ∧/∨ to select other options to configure.

6. After configuration is completed, press ∨ to select Search and press OK to start scanning channels.

7. The channel search may take a few minutes. After the automatic search, channels are arranged in a preset order. If you want to edit the channel list, press the settings button on the remote control, select (All settings) > Channels and inputs > Channels > Edit Channels, and press OK to enter.

Before using the hands-free TV voice control, connect the TV to the network and ensure it can access the Google website. Then follow these steps:

1. Turn the built-in MIC switch to ‘on’. (Please refer to the Quick Start Guide to find the MIC switch on your TV set).

2. In Google TV mode, press the Google Assistant button on the remote control.

3. Select “Yes, I’m in”.

4. Say “OK Google” or “Hey Google” to activate it.

Notes:

• This hands-free TV voice control is only available for selected models.

• A quiet surrounding is required for better function. The recommended distance is within 2 meters in front of the TV.

• Turn the built-in MIC switch to ‘off’ if you are not going to use it.

• The availability of hands-free TV voice control depends on your region/country/language.

• Standby power consumption will increase because the built-in MIC is always listening when enabled.

• This feature is only available in Google TV mode.

• Mute button: To switch the sound off and back on.

• Power button: Standby / quit standby.

• Numeric buttons: To enter channel numbers or a digit.

• Source button: To select input source.

• Settings button: To display the Quick Settings panel.

• Colour buttons: To select tasks or Teletext pages; to be used for HbbTV function.

• Circular D-Pad: Navigation direction buttons (∧/∨/〈/〉).

• OK: To confirm an entry or selection.

• Back button: To return to the previous menu or quit an App.

• Dashboard button: To display the dashboard menu.

• Google Assistant button: Press to talk to the Google Assistant. (Available only in Google TV mode and when the network connection is normal.)

• Home button: To access the Smart TV homepage.

• EPG button: To access the Electronic Programme Guide (only available for digital channels). Or access DTV EPG (Available only in Google TV mode.)

• VOL+/-: To control the volume.

• 123 button: To pop up the virtual remote control keyboard when available.

• Info button: To display programme information, if available.

• CH∧/∨: To change channels.

• NETFLIX: To access Netflix if available.

• prime video: To access Prime video if available.

• YouTube button: To access YouTube if available.

• Media Player button: To access Media Player.

• TCL CHANNEL: To access TCL Channel.

• Disney: To access Disney.

1. Push to open the back cover as illustrated.

2. Insert two AAA batteries according to the polarities marked on the battery case.

3. Replace the back cover as illustrated.

CAUTION: Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.

• Only use the battery types specified.

• Make sure you use the correct polarity.

• Do not mix new and used batteries.

• Do not use rechargeable batteries.

• Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, may result in an explosion.

• Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment, such as sunshine, fire, or hot surface may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

• A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

• Remove the batteries from the remote control if you are not using it for a long period of time.

• Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
