1. This appliance is operated by a rechargeable battery. ONLY recharge the battery with the charger supplied with the unit, battery charger for use only with model GQ36-120300-ABO power supply or with model AJJ3-1. A charger that may be suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.

2. DO NOT attempt to destroy, remove, or disassemble the battery pack from the machine. DO NOT incinerate battery cells.

3. To reduce the risk of an electric shock, connect only to an outlet provided with a Residual Current Device (RCD).

4. The fan should be used on a stable and level surface.

5. Never use this fan near pools, bathtubs, showers, basins, or other vessels containing water.

6. DO NOT operate any unit with a damaged power supply wire or battery charger. Discard the unit or return to an authorised service facility for examination and/or repair.

7. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover charge cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. DO NOT route charger cord under furniture or appliances. Keep charger cord away from high-traffic areas. Place charger in an area where the cord will not be tripped over.

8. If the charger cord is damaged, it should be replaced.

9. This appliance is not intended for use by anyone (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

10. Children should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with the appliance.

11. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

12. Prior to cleaning or other maintenance, the appliance must be unplugged from the electrical outlet.

13. Only use Shark branded accessories.

14. DO NOT use if appliance is not working as it should, has been damaged, or dropped into water.

15. Turn off all controls before plugging in or unplugging the appliance.

16. Unplug from electrical outlet when not in use and before any maintenance or cleaning.

17. Hand wash exterior/hard plastic/non-electronic parts with a damp cloth and water only. DO NOT immerse. Cleaning with chemicals could damage the unit.

18. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions of this appliance, as this may cause danger and void the warranty.

19. DO NOT force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 60°C (140°F), or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage, or explosion resulting in chemical burns.

20. The misting feature is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This product is NOT a humidifier.

21. Never attempt to mist substances other than filtered or clean tap water. DO NOT use warm or hot water. Only use cold or room temperature water.

22. DO NOT handle live electrical products while in range of the misting stream.

23. Keep non-waterproof electronic equipment and appliances out of the misting stream.

24. To avoid accidental damage or injury DO NOT touch the metal misting plate while the unit is on.

25. DO NOT attempt to operate the misting feature with an empty water tank. The metal misting plate may reach high temperatures if operated without water.

26. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Always keep nozzles and any other small parts out of the reach of children.

27. DO NOT use any scented products (fragrances, oils, etc.) in the water tank or on any part of the fan.

NOTE: Before every use, empty and rinse the water tank to prevent stagnant water from being misted.

Lithium batteries store a large amount of energy and will vent fire or explode if mistreated.

3. Charge battery pack only according to its charger’s instructions.

4. Inspect battery pack before every use: do not use or charge if damaged.

This product contains an integral lithium battery that is not replaceable. DO NOT incinerate or compost the product with its integral battery.

In some areas, it is illegal to place spent lithium batteries in the rubbish or in a municipal solid waste stream. Return the product with its spent battery to an authorised recycling center or to the retailer for recycling. Contact your local recycling center for information on where to drop off the spent product.

2. Before using this battery charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on the battery charger, battery, and product using battery.

3. CAUTION: To reduce risk of injury, charge only the provided rechargeable battery. Other types of batteries may burst, causing injury to persons and damage.

4. DO NOT expose charger to rain, moisture, or snow.

5. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

6. To reduce damage to car charger and cord, do not attempt to remove the charger from the outlet by pulling the cord. Pull the entire car charger connection from the outlet.

7. To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug charger before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this risk.

8. DO NOT operate the car charger if any components are damaged.

9. To clean the charger, first unplug it, then gently wipe it with a damp cloth. Allow the charger to air-dry completely before using it.

10. The charger uses a replaceable 5-amp fuse. To remove the fuse, unscrew the chrome knob at the tip of the charging plug. Use only 5-amp fuses for replacement.

CORDLESS: This is a 2-in-1 fan that can be used with or without the cord.

OUTDOORS: This fan can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors. DO NOT CHARGE OR USE IN THE RAIN.

VERTICAL TILT: Direct the airflow by manually adjusting the vertical tilt up to 45 degrees.

MISTING: Integrated misting suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage.

Power:

Press the power button on the fan head to turn the fan on. The battery LED will indicate the power level:

• 70%-100%: green light

• 30%-69%: amber light

• 6%-29%: red light steady

• 5% and below: red light blinking

Fan Speed:

Press the fan speed button on the fan head to cycle between fan settings: Fan speeds 1-5 and Natural Breeze modes. LED lights will indicate the selected fan setting.

Misting Modes:

Press the misting button on the fan head to cycle between mist settings: consistent, interval, or OFF. LED lights will indicate the selected mist setting. Tip: Try adjusting the fan speed while misting to customise your cooling experience.

Approximate Fan ONLY Runtime:

• MAXIMUM CORDLESS RUNTIME: 12 hours on fan speed 1.

• AVERAGE CORDLESS RUNTIME: 3.5 hours on fan speed 3.

• MAXIMUM CORDLESS PERFORMANCE: 1 hour on fan speed 5.

• PLUGGED IN: Indefinite runtime; fan will charge while operating.

Mist Runtime:

• MAXIMUM MISTING RUNTIME: Up to 60 minutes of Interval misting per tank at any fan speed.

• MAXIMUM MISTING PERFORMANCE: Up to 30 minutes of Consistent misting per tank at any fan speed.

Note: The mister will automatically turn off after 1 hour in Consistent mode or 2 hours in Interval mode. This prevents dry running and system damage.

Charge Time:

FROM 0% TO FULLY CHARGED BATTERY: Approximately 3 hours.

1. First, empty all the water out of the tank: Hold the fan over a drain, open the water tank cap, then turn the fan upside down and allow all water to drain out.

2. Place the fan upright on a level, stable surface. Open the misting cap on the front grille of the fan, then turn on the misting function for 5 seconds to clear any remaining water from the system.

3. Place the fan in a well-ventilated space and allow it to air-dry completely.

NOTE: Leave the water tank cap open for 24 hours before closing and storing the unit.

Before every use, fully flush the system for at least one minute and rinse out the tank, to prevent stagnant water being misted.

You can direct the airflow by manually adjusting the vertical tilt of the fan head. It can be tilted up or down, up to a maximum of 45 degrees.

To charge the fan, insert the charger into the charging port on the back of the fan head. DO NOT CHARGE OR USE IN THE RAIN.

The base is removable, so you can swap in different bases or add accessories that suit your needs.

1. To remove the base: Gently press the release button and pull the base downward off the fan head post.

2. To reinstall the base: Slide it onto the fan head post, over the button, until it clicks into place.

To turn the fan on or off, press the POWER button on the fan head.

ON: When turned on, the LED animation will play once (LEDs will turn on from left to right, then turn off from right to left).

OFF: When turned off, the LED animation will play once (LEDs will turn off from right to left).

Changing the FAN SPEED will increase or decrease the airflow of the fan. There are 5 fan speed settings. To change the speed, press the fan speed button on the fan head to cycle through the different speeds. The display will show the selected speed.

Turn on either of the NaturalBreeze modes to simulate natural wind conditions. Press the fan speed icon on the fan head until you reach the desired mode.

• STRONG NaturalBreeze: Simulates strong wind conditions. To activate, press the fan speed icon until the corresponding LEDs are displayed.

• GENTLE NaturalBreeze: Simulates gentle wind conditions. To activate, press the fan speed icon again after STRONG mode.

To deactivate NaturalBreeze, press the fan speed icon until you reach your desired regular fan speed setting.

NATURALBREEZE WIND PATTERNS

The misting feature is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. To enable misting, OPEN the misting cap in the centre of the fan grill. When done, CLOSE the cap to prevent dripping.

To change the misting settings, press the Misting icon on the fan head to cycle through the settings. To turn off misting, press the Misting icon until no LEDs are illuminated.

Note: Misting will automatically shutoff after 1 hour in Consistent and 2 hours in Interval mode to prevent dry running and damaging the system. If you refill the water tank during use, the timer may turn off misting. To reactivate mist, press the Misting icon on top of the fan head. Repeat as needed. DO NOT attempt to mist with an empty water tank.

First, make sure the fan has battery power by pressing the Power button. If the Battery LED indicator blinks red, then the fan needs to be charged. When the fan is charging, the battery LED will blink green.

If all the LEDs are flashing, the fan may be in Lock mode, which deactivates the fan to allow you to safely maintain or travel with it. To turn off Lock mode, press and hold the Power icon on the fan for 8 seconds. When Lock mode is successfully deactivated, the LEDs will display the Power On pattern.

If the battery level is low, the misting feature cannot be activated. Charge the fan battery to use misting.

Misting will automatically shutoff after 1 hour in Consistent mode and 2 hours in Interval mode to prevent dry running and damaging the system.

If you refill the water tank during use, misting may last longer than the automatic shutoff timers. To reactivate mist, press the Misting button on the top of the fan head. Repeat as needed. DO NOT attempt to mist with an empty water tank.

This fan is rain-resistant (IPX5 rated) and will not be damaged by light rain. However, it is not suitable to withstand heavy rain or water submersion. Do not charge or use your fan in the rain.

This error state indicates an issue with the voltage of the charger. Please be sure to only use the provided Shark charging cable and power supply intended for this product.

The fan must be in Lock mode when any maintenance is performed. Lock mode prevents the fan from accidentally powering on. It is also recommended to activate Lock mode when traveling with the fan.

We recommend using a damp cloth to wipe down the external surfaces of the fan every 6 months or as needed.

Clean the misting system every week or as needed. Using harder water will require more frequent cleaning.

Ensure the misting cap located in the centre of the fan grill is fully open. The misting system may also clog if not maintained properly. See the Maintenance section for details on cleaning instructions.

It is recommended to perform a clean soak every week or as needed. Ensure you empty and dry the water tank completely after every use.

To perform a clean soak:

1. Activate LOCK MODE by holding down the power button for 8 seconds until the lights flash. This will temporarily disable all fan functions to prevent the fan from accidentally turning on during maintenance.

2. Fill the water tank with 150ml of undiluted distilled white vinegar (5% acetic acid by volume) and let sit for 5-7 minutes. DO NOT let the vinegar sit for more than 15 minutes.

3. Carefully dump the vinegar out of the tank.

4. Refill the tank with clean tap or filtered water.

5. Ensure the water tank and misting cap are fully sealed, then shake the unit for 10 seconds.

6. Carefully dump the water out of the tank.

7. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 once more to thoroughly rinse the water tank.

8. Deactivate LOCK MODE by holding down the power button for 8 seconds until the lights show the startup pattern.

Please allow the water tank to dry completely before using the unit again.

Lock Mode temporarily blocks all fan functions for 24 hours to prevent the fan from accidentally powering on during fan head maintenance or travel.

1. Activate Lock Mode: Before traveling or performing maintenance, hold down the POWER icon on the fan head for 8 seconds until the LEDs begin to flash. Lights will blink to confirm Lock mode has been activated.

2. Automatic Deactivation: Lock Mode will automatically deactivate after 24 hours.

3. Manual Deactivation: If you wish to deactivate Lock mode before 24 hours, hold down the POWER icon on the fan head for 8 seconds until the LEDs show the Power On pattern.
