Quick Start Guide

The following chart shows the supported output capture resolutions based on the input pass-through resolution. An “O” indicates the combination can be captured in SDR.

The device has the following ports and indicators:

1. HDMI Output: For pass-through video to your display.

2. HDMI Input: To connect your console, camera, or other source device.

Follow these steps to connect your AVERMEDIA STREAMLINE MINI+ (MINIPLUS) GC311G2:

1. Connect your game console, camera, PC, or other source device to the HDMI-IN port on the capture card using an HDMI cable.

2. Connect your TV or monitor to the HDMI-OUT port on the capture card using another HDMI cable. This will allow you to see your source on your screen (pass-through).

To install, download Streaming Center from your AVerMedia product webpage and follow the step-by-step instructions.

1. Function Bar: Expand it by clicking the 3-line icon. This section includes essential functions like Live Streaming, Device Setting (Connect to Assist Central Pro), Save Folder, Profile, and Settings.

2. Scene Device Panel: This area lets users add devices for each scene. You can add cameras, capture cards to Video Source, and microphones to the Audio Mixer.

3. Screen and Mode Controls: This section includes functions to change screen orientation, switch between Director Mode and Easy Mode, and open the Image Detection Preview Window.

4. Recording and Streaming Controls: Enable/Disable HDR Recording mode, Record, and Start/Stop Streaming.

5. Edit and Live Screens: The left screen is the Edit screen, and the right is the Live screen. Click “Transition” to switch whatever is currently in the Edit screen to the Live screen.

6. Scene Panel: You can add/delete scenes here or select a scene to be edited in the Edit screen.

Upon first launch, Streaming Center will automatically detect your connected AVerMedia capture device and display the video feed with no manual setup required. This auto-detection occurs only during the initial setup. On future launches, the software will recall your last-used settings.

Make sure all hardware is properly connected:

– Your game console or camera is connected to the capture card via HDMI.

– The capture card is connected to your computer via USB-C.

To manually add a video source from a camera or capture card at any time, click the ‘+’ icon next to Video Source in the control panel.

Upon connecting a USB microphone, it should automatically be set as the default audio input. If it doesn’t appear, click the 3-dot icon next to the audio source, select “Edit Source,” and manually choose the microphone. To monitor its sound, enable “Monitor Sound.”

Audio Tuning (For microphones or webcams with built-in mic)

Click “Audio Setting” to access multiple audio tuning features including AI noise reduction, EQ adjustments, and output gain control. It also supports virtual microphone output for third-party software to use the adjusted audio.

5. You can customize your platform name. Resolutions, frame rate (FPS), and bitrate will be automatically optimized, but you can adjust them if needed.

To start streaming:

1. In the Stream Settings, select the platform(s) you want to stream to by toggling them on.

2. Return to the main screen and click the stream button to start streaming.

To stream to multiple platforms at the same time:

Connect multiple platforms using the steps to add a platform. Select all platforms you want to stream to in the Stream Settings, then click the stream button. The stream will start on all selected platforms simultaneously.

Assist Central Pro is a unified software that consolidates the functionalities of AVerMedia Assist Central and Gaming Utility into a single platform. It is designed for efficiency, usability, and scalability.

It allows you to manage your AVerMedia capture card configuration by:

– Showing device information.
