Follow these steps to install the PYLE PLMRKT49WT receiver:

1. Lift the left or right top corner of the plastic outer trim ring, then pull it out to remove it.

2. Insert the two bracket keys into the left and right sides of the chassis to separate the chassis from the housing.

3. Install the mounting sleeve on the board. Check the opening size of the sliding panel. If the opening is not large enough, carefully cut it until it fits easily. Locate the series of mounting tabs on the sleeve, insert it into the opening, and bend the tabs outward to secure it.

4. Slide the stereo into the opening in the dash, ensuring the wires behind it are tucked in and not pinched.

5. Follow the wiring diagram carefully. Connect the unit to a 12-volt power source with adequate grounding.

6. Attach the front panel and turn on the unit (the vehicle must be switched on). If it doesn’t work, check the connections. Once working, plug the wiring harness back into the stereo.

7. Slide the stereo fully into the dash opening, tucking wires behind the unit.

8. Install the plastic outer trim ring.

9. Snap all pieces of trim back into place over the stereo. Double-check that all screws and trim pieces are securely in place.

To turn the PYLE PLMRKT49WT on, press the power/MODE button on the front panel. To turn it off, press and hold the same button.

Alternatively, you can press the power button on the remote control to turn the unit ON or OFF.

You can adjust the volume on the PYLE PLMRKT49WT in two ways:

• Rotate the VOL knob on the front panel.

• Press the VOL+ or VOL- buttons on the remote control.

Press the SEL button on the front panel or remote control repeatedly to navigate through the audio functions: BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, FADER, EQ OFF, CLASS, (volume), DX/LOC, STEREO/MONO, CLOCK 12/24, and button lighting color (BLUE/RED/CYAN/GREEN/PURPLE/YELLOW/WHITE/AUTO).

To adjust a selected item, turn the VOL knob on the front panel or press the VOL+ / VOL- buttons on the remote control.

To adjust the 10EQ control, press the SEL button, then press the BAND button to enter the 10EQ control mode. Press the BAND button again to select the EQ volume, then turn the volume knob to adjust the EQ level.

Follow these steps to set the clock:

1. To display the time, press the CLK button.

2. To set the time, press and hold the CLK button until the time starts flashing.

3. Press the ◄◄ or ►►I button on the front panel or remote control to set the hour.

4. Press the CLK button again, and the minutes will start flashing.

5. Press the ◄◄ or ►►I button on the front panel or remote control to set the minutes.

Press the MODE button to switch between RADIO, BT (Bluetooth), USB (with a USB device inserted), SD (with an SD card inserted), and AUX-IN mode.

• **Change Bands:** Press the BAND button to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, and AM2.

• **Manual Tuning:** Press and hold the ◄◄ or ►►I button to enter manual tuning mode. Then, press the ◄◄ or ►►I button to move the radio frequency up or down one step.

• **Auto Seek Tuning:** In standby mode, quickly press the ◄◄ or ►►I button to move to the next/previous available station automatically.

The radio can store 6 preset stations for each band (FM1, FM2, and FM3) for a total of 18 preset stations.

To Memorize a Station:

1. Turn the radio on and select the desired band and station.

2. Select a station using the ◄◄ or ►►I button.

3. Press and hold the desired preset button (numbered 1-6 on the face of the radio) for more than 2 seconds to save the station.

To Recall a Preset Station:

1. Select the desired band.

2. Briefly press a preset button (numbered 1-6) to recall the corresponding preset station.

Automatic Store Station (AMS):

Press and hold the AMS button for more than 2 seconds to select six strong stations and store them in the current band. The radio will automatically scan the current frequency. Briefly press the AMS button on the remote control to recall each preset station saved in the memories in each band.

To play files from a USB/SD device, open the USB/SD port cover and insert the USB/SD device into the port. The songs will begin to play automatically.

• **Play/Pause:** Press the ►II button to pause or resume playback.

• **Next/Previous Track:** Press the ►►I button for the next track or the ◄◄ button for the previous track.

• **Fast Forward/Backward:** Press and hold the ►►I button to fast forward or the ◄◄ button to fast backward.

• **Introduction Scan (INT):** Press the INT button to play the first 10 seconds of each track. Press again to stop.

• **Repeat (RPT):** Press the RPT button to repeat the current track. Press again to stop.

• **Random (RDM):** Press the RDM button to play all tracks in random order. Press again to cancel.

• **Track Navigation:** Press the 5/-10 button to go backward 10 tracks. Press the 6/+10 button to jump forward 10 tracks.

• **Folder Navigation:** During MP3 playback from USB or SD card, press and hold the 5/-10 button to go to the previous folder. Press and hold the 6/+10 button to go to the next folder. This function does not work if the device has no folders.

• **Select a Specific Track:**

a. Press and hold the AMS button. “TRK0000” will appear on the display.

b. Turn the volume control to select the first digit. Then press the ◄◄ button to move to the next digit.

c. When the desired track number appears, press the SEL button to confirm.

1. Before pairing, the BT logo on the LCD indicates no device is connected. Enable BT mode on your mobile phone.

2. When your phone finds the car audio system, the name “PYLE” will be displayed.

3. Choose “PYLE” from the device list to pair and connect. Upon confirming, the BT logo will stop flashing.

4. When pairing is complete, your mobile phone’s audio will automatically transfer to the car audio system for calls or music playback.

Make a Call:

• Dial the number directly from your paired mobile phone.

• To use the system to dial: Press the phone button to access dial mode. Use the “0~9”, * and # buttons on the remote control to input the number. Press the phone button to make the call.

Answer a Call:

When you receive a call, the incoming number displays on the LCD. Press the phone button on the control panel to answer.

Reject or End a Call:

Press the end call button (phone icon with a downward arrow) on the control panel to reject or end a call.

Redial Last Number:

Press and hold the phone button on the control panel to redial the last dialed number.

Adjust Talk Volume:

During a call, use the VOL knob or VOL+/VOL- buttons to adjust the volume. Use the MUTE button to mute the sound.

The Push-To-Talk feature allows you to access SIRI or GOOGLE voice via Wireless BT.

• Your phone must support SIRI or GOOGLE voice.

• Once connected to BT, your phone will ask for access to your contact list.

• To use, press the PUSH-TO-TALK icon. You can then say, “Call (CONTACT NAME)” and the system will call without needing to use your phone. Note that Samsung “S” Voice and other associated apps are not compatible.

1. When the lithium cell battery becomes weak, it needs to be replaced.

2. Press and hold the movable block in the direction of arrow 1, and at the same time, pull the cell holder out of the remote control in the direction of arrow 2.

3. Replace the old cell with a new one, ensuring the (+) polarity is facing upward.

4. Reinsert the cell holder into the remote control.

If there is no power, check the following:

1. **Vehicle’s engine switch is not on:** Turn your vehicle’s key to ACC or ON.

2. **Cable is not correctly connected:** Check the wiring connections.

3. **Fuse is burnt:** Replace the fuse.

No Sound:

• Check if the volume is in mute or set to minimum. Check the volume or mute ON/OFF, and adjust the volume to the desired level.

Sound Skips:

• The installation angle is more than 30°. Adjust the installation angle to less than 30°.

The built-in micro-computer may not be operating properly due to noise. Press the RESET button to restore the program to zero. To access the RESET button, press the RELEASE button to remove the front panel, then use a thin object with a small tip to press the RESET button.

Much noise in broadcasts:

The station or signal is too weak. Select other stations with stronger signal levels.

The antenna cable is not connected:

Insert the antenna cable firmly into the antenna socket of the receiver.

Preset station is reset:

The battery cable is not correctly connected. Connect the battery cable to the terminal that is always live.
