What are the installation requirements for the PREMIUM PCH796DR cooker hood?

Before installing your PREMIUM PCH796DR cooker hood, please adhere to the following requirements:

1. Do not install the cooker hood where there are many doors or windows, as this can affect the exhaust efficiency of the hood caused by air convection.

2. Install the cooker hood directly above the hob. The recommended distance between the hob and the lower edge of the cooker hood is a minimum of 650mm and a maximum of 700mm.

3. To achieve optimum performance, do not elongate the exhaust pipe too long. Try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe less pronounced and as large as possible, ensuring the connection is airproof.

4. After hanging the unit on the wall, ensure the hood is level and vertical.

5. The air outlet must not be connected to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts. Under no circumstances should the air outlet be connected to ventilation ducts for a room in which fuel-burning appliances are installed.


How do I install the PREMIUM PCH796DR cooker hood?

SAFETY WARNING: The hood may have very sharp edges. Please wear protective gloves if it is necessary to remove any parts for installing, cleaning, or servicing.

Step 1: Put the exhaust pipe to the air outlet and use one ST3.9 X10 screw to fix it.

Step 2: Match the bracket to the holes of the inner duct cover and fix it well with M4 screws. Then, match the bracket to the holes of the outer duct cover and fix it well with M4 screws.

Step 3: Insert the inner duct cover into the outer duct cover.

Step 4: Match the holes of the outer duct cover and blower box. Fix the outer duct cover to the blower box using 8pcs M4 x 10 screws provided.

Step 5: According to the size of the hook key holes, drill 3 holes in level in the wall with an 8mm diameter and 60-70mm in depth. Press the 3 expanding tubes provided into the holes. Fix the hook using the 5×60 wood screw provided. Then insert two M4X10 screws into holes A and B to fix the hook on the wall steadily.

Step 6: Hang the entire hood unit onto the hook, ensuring the hood is level and vertical.

Step 7:

1. Draw the inner duct cover up to the suitable height and mark on the wall the two keyholes of the outer duct cover bracket with a pen.

2. Gently put down the inner duct cover. Drill the keyholes to a 60-70 mm depth on the horizontal level using an 8mm drill.

3. Press the expanding tubes provided into the holes.

4. Match the inner duct cover with the holes and tighten the inner duct cover with two 5×60 wood screws provided.

Step 8: Extend the air outlet of the exhaust pipe out-of-door. Try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe more than 120 degrees.


How do I operate my PREMIUM PCH796DR cooker hood?

The control panel on your PREMIUM PCH796DR has the following functions:

A: Touch A, the fan runs at low speed. Press it again, the fan turns off.

B: Touch B, the fan runs at the mid speed. Press it again, the fan turns off.

C: Touch C, the fan runs at the high speed. Press it again, the fan turns off.

The A, B, and C buttons interact with each other.

D (Clock/Timer):

– When the hood is OFF, press and hold D for 3 seconds. Then touch C and E to adjust the hour and minute. Button G will function as a clock. In the screen, the left side is the hour, and the right is the minute.

– When the hood is operating, touch D to control the working time of the hood. Each touch adds 5 minutes, up to a maximum of 1 hour.

E (Light): Touch E to turn on the light. Press it again to turn off the light.

F (Delayed Off): When the hood is operating, touch F. The hood will not turn off at once; it will stay on for one minute and then turn off.


How should I maintain and clean my PREMIUM PCH796DR cooker hood?

CAUTION: Never put your hand into the area housing while the fan is operating.

For the optimal level of operation, clean the range hood surface, fan, and filter regularly.

1. Use only mild soap or detergent solutions to clean the cooker hood surface. Dry surfaces using a soft cloth.

2. Use a stainless steel cleaner to bring the glow back into a stainless steel finish.

3. Clean the aluminum filter once a week or according to use status. Press the buckle of the aluminum filter slightly, take off the aluminum filter and put it into warm soapy water using mild detergent. Wipe the filter with a soft brush. Replace the filter after it is dry.

4. Clean the motor fan and other inside parts once every half year or according to use by a qualified person.

5. DO NOT clean the motor with water or other liquid.


How do I replace the light bulb on the PREMIUM PCH796DR?

Caution: The lamp unit may be hot! Wait until the unit is cool. Use the same type of lamp or light bulb. Make sure all control switches are off and the cooker hood is unplugged.

To replace a halogen lamp unit:

1. Take out the filters and cut off the wire connection of the lamp.

2. Press the spring according to the arrow direction, then you can take off the lamp unit.

3. You can replace it with a new halogen lamp unit of no more than the specified rating.

4. Put the new lamp unit into the hood in the reverse direction. Connect the wire of the lamp.

5. Fit on the filters.

To replace a new light bulb within the halogen unit:

A. Loosen the four screws of the lamp unit and take off the bottom cover.

B. Take out the light bulb assembly.

C. Take out the old light bulb, then replace it with a new light bulb.

D. Put the light bulb assembly in the lamp cup.

E. Put the bottom cover back on the lamp.

F. Fix the lamp with four screws.

To replace an LED lamp unit:

Caution: An LED lamp cannot be replaced with a new bulb; you must replace the entire LED lamp unit.

1. Take out the filters and cut off the wire connection of the lamp.

2. Press the spring according to the arrow direction to take off the lamp unit.

3. You can replace it with a new LED lamp unit of no more than the specified rating.

4. Put the new lamp unit into the hood in the reverse direction and connect the wire of the lamp.

5. Fit on the filters.

To replace a normal lamp bulb:

1. Take out the filters.

2. Loosen the old light bulb.

3. Replace it with a new light bulb of the same type and no more than the specified rating.

4. Fit on the filters.
