What are the installation requirements for the PREMIUM PCH794DR?
1. Do not install the cooker hood where there are many doors or windows in order to avoid affecting the exhaust efficiency of the hood caused by air convection.
2. Install the cooker hood right above the hob. The recommended distance between the hob and the lower edge of the cooker hood is a minimum of 650mm and a maximum of 700mm.
3. In order to get the optimum performance, do not elongate the exhaust pipe too long, and try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe less and biggest, ensure the connection is airproof.
4. After hanging the unit on the wall, ensure the hood is level and vertical.
5. The air outlet must not be connected to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts. The air outlet must under no circumstances be connected to ventilation ducts for a room in which fuel-burning appliances are installed.
How do I install the PREMIUM PCH794DR cooker hood?
SAFETY WARNING: THE HOOD MAY HAVE VERY SHARP EDGES; PLEASE WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES IF IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE ANY PARTS FOR INSTALLING, CLEANING OR SERVICING.
Step 1: Put the exhaust pipe to the air outlet as pictured in the manual. Use one ST3.9 X10 screw to fix the exhaust pipe.
Step 2: Match the bracket to the holes of the inner duct cover and fix it well with M4 screws. Match the bracket to the holes of the outer duct cover and fix it well with M4 screws.
Step 3: Insert the inner duct cover into the outer duct cover.
Step 4: Match the holes of the outer duct cover and blower box. Fix the outer duct cover to the blower box using 8pcs M4 x 10 screw provided.
Step 5: According to the size of the hook key holes, drill 3 holes in level in the wall with 8mm in diameter and 60-70mm in depth. Press the 3 expanding tubes provided into the holes. Fix the hook using the 5×60 wood screw provided. Then insert two M4X10 screws to A and B holes to fix the hook on the wall steadily.
Step 6: Hang the entire hood unit onto the hook, ensure the hood is level and vertical.
Step 7: Draw the inner duct cover up to a suitable height, and mark on the wall the two keyholes of the outer duct cover bracket with a pen. Put down the inner duct cover gently, and drill the keyholes 60-70mm in depth on the horizontal level using an 8mm drill. Press the expanding tube provided into the holes. Match the inner duct cover with the holes and tighten the inner duct cover with two 5×60 wood screws provided.
Step 8: Extend the air outlet of the exhaust pipe out-of-door. Try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe more than 120°.
How do I operate the PREMIUM PCH794DR touch control panel and remote?
The PREMIUM PCH794DR has a highly-sensitive touch control panel. Use your finger to touch the key-press slightly to operate it. It can also be operated with the included remote control.
A. Motor on/off: When the hood is working, touch once to continue working for one minute. Touch a second time to turn it off.
B. Lighting: Touch this button to turn the light on. Touch it again to extinguish the light.
C. Receiver: This is the sensor for the remote control. Direct the remote control at the receiver when using it.
D. High speed: Touch this speed, the motor will work in high speed.
E. Middle speed: Touch this speed, the motor will work in middle speed.
F. Low speed: Touch this speed, the motor will work in low speed.
G. Timer: Touch this button once when the hood is in working condition, and it will turn off in one minute. Touch one more time to increase the working time by one more minute.
How do I change the battery in the remote control for the PREMIUM PCH794DR?
1. Open the battery cover.
2. When opening, pay attention to the anode and cathode polarity.
3. Take out the old battery and fix the new one, making sure the anode is positioned correctly as shown in the manual.
How should I perform maintenance on my PREMIUM PCH794DR?
CAUTION: NEVER PUT YOUR HAND INTO THE AREA HOUSING WHILE THE FAN IS OPERATING.
1. Use only mild soap or detergent solutions to clean the cooker hood surface. Dry surfaces using a soft cloth.
2. Use a stainless steel cleaner to bring the glow back into a stainless steel finish.
3. Clean the aluminium filter once a week or according to use status. Press the buckle of the aluminium filter slightly, take off the aluminium filter and put it into warm soapy water using mild detergent, then wipe the filter with a soft brush. Replace the filter after it is dry.
4. Clean the motor fan and other inside parts once every half year or according to use by a QUALIFIED PERSON.
5. DO NOT clean the motor with water or other liquid.
How do I replace the LED lamp on the PREMIUM PCH794DR?
Caution: An LED lamp cannot be replaced with a new bulb; you must replace the entire new LED Lamp unit. Make sure all control switches are off and the cooker hood is unplugged! Please follow the below instructions:
1. Take out the filters, and cut off the wire connection of the lamp.
2. Press the spring according to the arrow direction, then you can take off the lamp unit.
3. You can replace a new LED lamp unit of no more than the original rating.
4. Then put the lamp unit to the hood in the reverse direction. Connect the wire of the lamp.
5. Fit on the filters.
