What are the initial setup and installation instructions for the PREMIUM PBCC1350XS bottle cooler?

Before installing your PREMIUM PBCC1350XS, please follow these important steps:

• If the unit has recently been transported, please let it stand still for a minimum of 24 hours before plugging it in.

• Make sure that the unit drops down to the desired temperature before loading it with product.

• Ensure there is proper ventilation around the unit in the area where it will operate.

• Make sure all accessories are installed (i.e. shelves, shelf clips, casters) before plugging the unit in.

• Please read through the entire Operation / Owner’s Manual before installation.

What are the location guidelines for installing the PREMIUM PBCC1350XS?

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PREMIUM PBCC1350XS, follow these location guidelines:

Install on a strong and leveled surface: An uneven surface may cause the unit to make noises or malfunction.

Install in an indoor, well-ventilated area: The unit performs more efficiently in a well-ventilated area. For best performance, maintain a clearance of 4 inches on the back of the unit. Outdoor use may cause decreased efficiency and damage to the unit.

Avoid high humidity and/or dusty areas: Humidity can cause the unit to rust and decrease its efficiency. Dust collected on the condenser coil will cause the unit to malfunction; clean the condenser at least once a month with a brush or a clean cloth.

Select a location away from heat and moisture-generating equipment: High environmental temperatures will cause the compressor to overwork, leading to higher electrical bills and a gradual breakdown of the unit.

What are the electrical requirements for the PREMIUM PBCC1350XS?

Please ensure that the required voltage of the compressor is being supplied at all times. Low or high voltage can detrimentally affect the refrigeration unit.

All units should be plugged into a grounded and properly-sized electrical outlet with appropriate surge protection. Please refer to the electrical requirements on the nameplate. Ensure that your unit has its own dedicated outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

How do I adjust the temperature settings on the PREMIUM PBCC1350XS?

The temperature controls on the PREMIUM PBCC1350XS are factory-set to maintain an average temperature of 38°F. To adjust the temperature, use the control knob located inside the unit.

• To decrease the temperature (make it colder), turn the knob clockwise.

• To increase the temperature (make it warmer), turn the knob counter-clockwise.

The temperature range is from 7 (coldest) to 1 (warmest).

CAUTION: Setting the temperature control to the coldest setting (7) may cause the evaporator coil to freeze and ice up. This will eventually result in a warmer cabinet temperature.

How do I properly load the PREMIUM PBCC1350XS and manage the bin dividers?

Loading Product:

Pay close attention to the load limit stickers located on the interior walls of the unit. Do not load product above the load limit stickers or above the top cross bar of the bin dividers. Loading product above these limits will harm the performance of the unit.

Bin Dividers:

The bin dividers are pre-installed. To reposition them, follow these steps:

To remove: Simply push the divider towards the back wall until the front of the divider is removed from the positioning holes.

To install: Position the divider into the desired holes, making sure that the pressure spring is installed properly.

What are the key safety precautions when operating the PREMIUM PBCC1350XS?

Please pay close attention to the following safety notices to avoid serious injury or damage to the unit:

• To minimize shock and fire hazards, do not overload the outlet. Please designate one outlet for your unit.

• Do not use extension cords.

• Do not put your hands under the unit when it is being moved.

• If the unit will not be in use for a long period, unplug it from the outlet.

• After unplugging the unit, wait at least 10 minutes before re-plugging it. Failure to do so could cause damage to the compressor.

How do I perform regular maintenance on my PREMIUM PBCC1350XS?

Cleaning the Condenser Coil:

• For efficient operation, keep the condenser surface free of dust, dirt, and lint. We recommend cleaning the coil and fins at least once per month.

• Clean with a commercial condenser coil cleaner. Brush the condenser fins from top to bottom, not side to side.

• After cleaning, straighten any bent condenser fins with a fine comb.

Cleaning the Fan Blade and Motor:

• If necessary, clean the fan blades and motor with a soft cloth. If you need to wash the fan blades, cover the fan motor to prevent moisture damage.

Cleaning the Interior of the Unit:

• Before cleaning any parts of the unit, disconnect the power cord.

• Use a solution of warm water and mild soap to clean the cabinet interior.

• Do not use steel wool, caustic soap, abrasive cleaners, or bleach that may damage the stainless steel surface.

• Wash door gaskets weekly. Remove the gasket, soak it in warm water and soap for 30 minutes, dry with a soft cloth, and replace. Check for a proper seal after replacement.

• Periodically remove shelves and pilasters and clean them with mild soap and warm water. To remove the pilasters, first remove the shelves and shelf brackets, then lift the pilaster up and out.
