What are the installation requirements for the PREMIUM PCH760R cooker hood?
For proper installation and performance of your PREMIUM PCH760R, please follow these requirements:
1. Do not install the cooker hood where there are many doors or windows, as this can affect the exhaust efficiency due to air convection.
2. Install the cooker hood directly above the hob. The recommended distance between the hob and the lower edge of the cooker hood is a minimum of 650mm and a maximum of 700mm.
3. To achieve optimum performance, avoid elongating the exhaust pipe excessively. Try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe as minimal and wide as possible, ensuring the connection is airproof.
4. After hanging the unit on the wall, ensure the hood is level and vertical.
5. The air outlet must not be connected to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts. Under no circumstances should the air outlet be connected to ventilation ducts for a room where fuel-burning appliances are installed.
How do I install the PREMIUM PCH760R cooker hood?
SAFETY WARNING: The hood may have very sharp edges. Please wear protective gloves if it is necessary to remove any parts for installing, cleaning, or servicing.
Step 1: Prepare the Air Outlet and Exhaust Pipe
Fix the air outlet to the bottom cover with four screws. Put the exhaust pipe to the air outlet and use one ST3.9X10 screw to fix the exhaust pipe.
Step 2: Mount the Hood
According to the space between holes A&B on the back of the hood, drill 2 holes level on the wall with an 8mm diameter and 60-70mm in depth. Press the 2 expanding tubes provided into the holes. Tighten the 2 wood screws (5x60mm) into the expanding tubes, ensuring they are fixed enough and cannot be moved. Hang the cooker hood on the 2 wood screws, making sure it is level and stable.
Step 3: Assemble the Duct Covers
Match the duct bracket to the holes of the inner duct cover and fix it well with M4 screws.
Step 4: Insert Duct Covers
Insert the inner duct cover into the outer duct cover. The inner duct cover must fix to the outer duct cover’s orientation slot.
Step 5: Attach the Duct Cover Assembly
Put the outer duct cover onto the unit body and use two M4x10 screws to fix the outer duct cover to the unit body.
Step 6: Secure the Inner Duct Cover
1. Extend the inner duct cover up to the desired height. Mark the two keyholes of the duct cover bracket on the wall with a pen.
2. Lower the inner duct cover gently. Drill the marked keyholes to a depth of 60-70 mm on the horizontal level using an 8mm drill.
3. Press the provided expanding tubes into the holes.
4. Match the inner duct cover with the holes and tighten it with two 5×60 wood screws.
Step 7: Extend the Exhaust Pipe
Extend the air outlet of the exhaust pipe out-of-door. Try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe more than 120°.

CAUTION: NEVER PUT YOUR HAND INTO THE AREA HOUSING WHILE THE FAN IS OPERATING.
For the optimal level of operation, clean the range hood surface, fan, and filter regularly.
1. Use only mild soap or detergent solutions to clean the cooker hood surface. Dry surfaces using a soft cloth.
2. Use a stainless steel cleaner to bring the glow back into a stainless steel finish.
3. Clean the aluminum filter once a week or according to use status. Press the buckle of the aluminum filter slightly, take off the aluminum filter, and put it into warm soapy water using mild detergent. Wipe the filter with a soft brush. Replace the filter after it is dry.

What should I do if my PREMIUM PCH760R has a damaged power supply?
If the power supply is damaged, please call the technicians to repair. You will need a “+” type screwdriver and sharp pincers for servicing.
What if the lamp works on my PREMIUM PCH760R but the motor does not run?
If the lamp works but the motor does not run, check the following possible causes using a “+” type screwdriver:
a) Remove the vane guard and rotate the vane by hand. If the vane cannot move smoothly, the core or bearings of the motor may be damaged. In this case, replace with a new motor.
b) If the motor stops running and has a bad odor after a moment of operation, the motor wires may be burnt out. Replace the motor.
c) If the starting wire (yellow) is disengaged from the condenser, it needs to be rewired.
d) If the condenser is damaged, replace it with a new one.
Also, check the following:
a) Take off the filter and check if the connection between the air inlet and wind chamber is sealed.
b) Check if the connection between the air exhaust pipe and wind chamber leaks oil. If it does, please fill it up with varnish or thinner.
How can I fix machine vibration on my PREMIUM PCH760R?
If you are experiencing machine vibration, use a “+” type screwdriver to check the following:
a) If the motors were not firmly screwed, tighten them up.
b) If the vane is damaged or unbalanced, replace it with a new one.
Why does my PREMIUM PCH760R have weak suction and how can I fix it?
Weak suction can be caused by several factors. Use a “+” type screwdriver to investigate and resolve:
a) The distance is too far between the Range Hood and the Gas Cooker. Adjust the height.
b) Too many open windows or doors are causing strong wind convection. Close some of them.
c) If the Range Hood is set upon a window, the best solution is to put a three-ply board on the back of the Range Hood to cover the hollow of the window.
What should I do if my PREMIUM PCH760R is installed with a tilt?
If the hood is tilted, use a “+” type screwdriver to make adjustments:
a) Adjust the height of the model where it hangs on the ceiling.
b) If the model tilts forward, lock it into the wall with the wood screw again (the screw should peep out around 0.5 – 1 cm from the wall), or check if the fixing screws for the model are loose.
What should I do if the bulb does not light on my PREMIUM PCH760R?
Using a “+” type screwdriver, just unscrew the lamp shade and replace it with a new bulb, then put the lamp shade back.
