CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX (01) PDF MANUAL

For the first use of your CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX, follow these steps:

1. Change the backrest from its packaging position to the use position by rotating it upwards until you hear the engagement click. It is not possible to return the backrest to the packaging position after this.

2. Insert the rear wheels (A6) into the specific slots, pushing them in as far as they will go.

3. To open the frame, simultaneously press the A5 opening/closing buttons, distancing the front legs (A1) from the rear legs (A2) until you hear a click indicating the frame is completely open.

4. Insert the footrest (B3) into one of the four slots on the legrest (B2) and turn it until it locks.

5. To put the cover on the seat, first unfasten the safety harness. Then, fit the cover (B12) from the top to the bottom until it fits correctly in the backrest part.

6. Insert the safety harness (B11) into the appropriate holes in the cover. Ensure the positions of the holes on the fabric cover correspond to those on the backrest.

Warning: Before use, check that pin B9 is always engaged correctly in the sliding hole B10 by pressing lightly on the back toward the rear part of the high chair.

The CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX has a 5-point safety harness. To use it:

1. Release the safety harness.

2. Place the child in the high chair and secure them with the harness.

3. Adjust the length of the harness so it suits the child.

The safety harness can be adjusted to two different height positions. To release the buckle, press the forks. The width of the waist belts can be adjusted using the relevant sliding rings.

Warning: The use of the safety harness with the fabric crotch strap is essential to guarantee your child’s safety. The tray alone does not guarantee safety; always use the safety harness.

The tray on the CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX can be adjusted to 4 different positions.

To fasten the tray:

1. Turn the armrests (B5) and make sure they are locked in a horizontal position.

2. Insert the armrests into the guides below the tray, keeping the central fastening button (C2) pressed.

3. Move the tray to the desired position and release the button. If it doesn’t lock automatically, move the tray until a click is heard, indicating it has locked.

To remove the tray:

Press the central button (C2). When not in use, the tray can be fastened to the rear of the structure in the relevant slots (A4).

The high chair also includes a tray cover (C1), which can be fastened to the tray sides with a pressure mechanism.

Warnings:

• Before use, always check that the tray is correctly fastened to the armrests.

• The tray may only be adjusted to the 4 indicated positions.

• Never leave the tray fitted in a position where the danger signs are visible on the armrests; this position is NOT safe.

• When the tray is fitted, avoid inadvertently pressing the armrest tilting buttons.

The CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX is equipped with swivel wheels with brakes (A6) on the rear legs and one-way wheels (A3) on the front legs to facilitate handling.

• To activate the high chair brakes, lower the wheel locking levers.

• To release the brakes, raise the levers again.

Warning: Always place the chair on a horizontal, stable surface. Never place the high chair near stairs or steps.

The CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX high chair can be adjusted to 8 height positions.

• To raise the seat: Hold the upper part of the backrest and pull it upwards until the desired height is reached.

• To lower the seat: Press the two B1 buttons at the same time and lower the seat until the desired height is reached.

Warning: Do not carry out this operation with the child sitting in the high chair.

To close the CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX, follow these steps:

1. Place the backrest in a vertical position.

2. Remove the tray and fit it to the rear legs.

3. Tilt the armrests by pressing the buttons (B6).

4. Completely lower the seat by pressing the two height adjustment buttons (B1) at the same time.

5. Press the opening/closing buttons (A5) located at the center of the lateral joints and at the same time, approach the legs of the high chair.

Warning: When performing this operation, ensure that your child, or other children, are at a safe distance. Make sure that the removable parts of the high chair do not come into contact with your child.

Legrest: The high chair is equipped with a legrest (B2) that can be adjusted to 3 positions of use. To adjust, press the two buttons (B4) and tilt the legrest until reaching the desired position. The legrest can also turn upward to non-usable positions.

Footrest: The high chair is equipped with a footrest (B3) that can be adjusted to 4 height positions. From the currently used position, turn it upwards until it unlocks. Remove the footrest and fit it at the desired height.

The CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX may be used as a reclined cradle for children aged 0 months or more and up to 9 kg. To use it in this mode:

1. Completely tilt the backrest (B7) of the seat by pressing the button (B8) on the rear part of the backrest.

2. Adjust the legrest (B2) to the completely horizontal position.

3. The footrest (B3) may be removed or adjusted according to the child’s height.

Whenever the seat height needs to be adjusted, this can be performed before the operations indicated above.

Fitting the Toy Bar:

1. Attach the structure of the toy bar (D1) to the high chair by placing the fixing hooks (D2) on the side joints of the high chair (D5).

2. To complete the assembly, close the fastening tabs (D3), pushing them until you hear a click confirming their correct engagement. If you fit it incorrectly, repeat the steps and check that the stop (D4) is correctly engaged.

Reclining the Toy Bar:

Using the joints (D6), the toy bar can be adjusted to 3 different reclining levels depending on the seat position.

Removing the Toy Bar:

To remove the toy bar, act on the safety stop (D4) and at the same time turn the tabs (D3) outwards.

Warnings:

• Never use the toy bar to lift the high chair.

• The toy must only be used under adult supervision.

• The toy bar must only be used together with the CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX high chair.

The CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX may be used as a first seat from an age at which the child can sit up unaided, up to 36 months. When used as a first seat, it is possible to:

• Adjust the height of the seat.

• Adjust the legrest in a vertical position.

• Fold the armrests.

• Put the high chair at the table, moving it using the wheels (A3).

Cleaning:

• Clean the fabric cover with a soft cloth soaked in water or a neutral detergent. To remove the fabric cover, repeat the assembly steps in reverse order.

• Clean the plastic parts with a soft cloth soaked in water. Never use abrasive detergents or solvents.

• If the high chair comes into contact with water, dry the metal parts to prevent the formation of rust.

Maintenance:

• Keep the high chair in a dry place.

• To avoid friction, ensure that all moving plastic parts along the metal frame are free from dust, dirt, or sand.

• If necessary, lubricate the moving parts with dry silicone lubricant.

To care for the fabric reducer cushion of your CHICCO POLLY MAGIC RELAX, follow these washing tips:

• Wash by hand in cold water (maximum 30°).

• Do not bleach.

• Do not tumble dry.

• Do not iron.

• Do not dry clean.

To use the reducer cushion correctly, pass the high chair belts through the corresponding holes.
