1. Power Connection:
Connect your camera to a power supply and it will automatically start. Your camera is ready for app connection when the white indicator light under the lens starts flashing.
2. Download the Petlibro App:
Search for “Petlibro” in your smartphone’s app store to download and install the app. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version. The app named “Petlibro Lite” is not the correct app for your camera.
3. Wi-Fi Connection:
You can connect your camera to Wi-Fi using one of two options:
• Option A: Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth to find the camera you want to add.
• Option B: Use your camera to scan the QR code displayed in the app. Hold your phone within 19.7 inches (0.5m) of the camera lens.

The PETLIBRO SCOUT PLPC001 supports freestanding, wall-mounted, and tripod-mounted installations.
Freestanding:
Your camera can be flexibly placed on flat surfaces, such as cabinets, dining tables, or coffee tables. Position it wherever you like, as long as there’s an available power socket nearby. You can use the provided adhesive mount for added stability.
Wall Mount:
Step 1. Mark two holes on your chosen wall spot and drill holes using a 1/4 inch drill bit.
Step 2. Insert the provided screw anchors (6 x 25mm) into the holes. Position the L-shaped wall mount facing up and secure it with screws.
Step 3. Thread the power cord through the mount, connect it to the camera, then attach the camera to the mount until it clicks into place.
Tip: For wood or drywall, you can skip the drilling and screw anchors, and screw the wall mount directly into the wall. Use only the provided accessories.
Tripod Mount:
Step 1. Attach the mounting plate to the tripod using the 1/4″ tripod screw.
Step 2. Set your camera on the mounting plate and twist to lock.
How do I reset the PETLIBRO SCOUT PLPC001?
If you want to connect your camera to a new smartphone, you must unbind it from your old smartphone first, then reset the camera. Follow these steps:
1. Close the privacy cover manually.
2. Press the reset button for 5 seconds using a pin (not included) until you hear the “Reset Successful” prompt tone.
3. Open the privacy cover.
4. Wait for 5 seconds; a white light flashing slowly indicates a successful reset.
5. Connect the camera to your new smartphone.
