This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or appropriate training concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service technician or other qualified professional in order to avoid a hazard.

Never disconnect by pulling on the cord.

Do not operate if the cord or plug is damaged or if you notice that the appliance is not working properly.

Do not handle the appliance with wet hands or immerse it in water or any other liquid.

Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged.

This appliance is for domestic use only.

This refrigeration appliance is not designed to be used as a built-in appliance.

This refrigerator is not suitable for freezing food.

Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

Before putting your appliance into operation:

1. Remove all components from the inner and outer packaging.

2. This appliance is designed to be installed on a table, never built-in.

3. Before connecting your device to a power source, leave it in an upright position for approximately 2 hours. This reduces the risk of malfunctioning of the cooling system due to handling during transport.

4. Clean the internal surfaces of the unit with a soft cloth and warm water.

5. Please allow at least 50mm of clearance between the back and 20mm between the sides and the wine cellar to allow ventilation of the cooling system. Failure to do so will result in poor cooling performance, dust build-up on components and drastically shorten the life of the product. It may also void your warranty.

For placement:

1. Position your cooler so that the plug is accessible.

2. Keep your cooler out of direct sunlight.

3. Do not place the cooler next to heat generating appliances.

4. Do not place it directly on the ground; place it on a suitable support.

Ventilation:

When installing a thermoelectric cooler, ventilation should be a key part of the installation. Please note the following:

1. At least 200 cm³ must be left for ventilation.

2. The distance between the wall and the side of the cooler must be at least 20 mm.

3. The rear should be left at least 50mm for airflow.

4. The air passing through must not be preheated.

5. The entire cooling system must be considered in ventilation.

Power (Feeding):

1. The wine cellar must be connected to a properly grounded socket in accordance with the country’s regulations before operating.

2. Check the rating label (located on the side of the appliance) to ensure that the voltage and frequency correspond to those in your area; if not, do not plug the cord into the socket.

1. Place the wine cellar on a flat, horizontal and stable surface, away from hot surfaces and moisture.

2. Plug the wine cellar into a power outlet and select the desired temperature (see “Temperature setting” section).

3. Leave the wine cellar empty and running for approximately one hour to reach the selected temperature.

4. When the wine cellar has reached the selected temperature, open the door and place the wine bottles at room temperature on the shelves. The bottles will reach the selected temperature in approximately one hour.

5. The wine cellar automatically sets an on and off cycle to constantly maintain the selected temperature. Press the light button to turn on the interior light and see what is inside the wine cellar. To turn off the light, press the same button again. Important: Close the door well and do not open it too frequently or for a long period of time, the wine will not reach the selected temperature.

6. It is recommended that the room temperature be 17°C.

The ORBEGOZO VT 840 wine cellar has an automatic locking system that is activated 20 seconds after the last touch of any button. Press the unlock button for two seconds to unlock the panel. You will hear a sound to indicate that it is now active.

Select the temperature inside the wine cellar by pressing the temperature increase/decrease buttons. Press the up arrow button to increase the temperature and press the down arrow button to decrease it. The selected temperature is shown on the temperature display.

NOTE: The wine cellar will operate correctly when the ambient temperature is 32°C or less. If the temperature is too high, it will not be able to cool at very low temperatures. The position of the bottles in the compartment, top, middle or bottom, can affect the internal temperature of the wine cellar.

Tips and recommendations:

• The recommended temperature for red wine is 14-16°C

• The recommended temperature for white wine is 11-12°C.

Press the °F/°C button for two seconds to switch between Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Press the light button once to turn the interior light on or off. After 10 minutes of being on, the light will automatically turn off. You will need to press the button again to turn it back on.

Cleaning your wine cellar:

• Unplug the wine cellar and remove the bottles.

• Clean the interior with a cloth and warm water. Dry thoroughly when finished.

• The exterior of the wine cellar should be cleaned with a mild detergent and warm water.

• Empty the bottom water drawer and wash it.

Replacing LED light:

The light is a long-lasting, energy-efficient LED. Therefore, it should not need to be replaced during the life of the product; however, if it does, it should be replaced by a qualified person.

• Remove all bottles.

• Secure all loose items inside the wine cellar with tape.

• Rotate the leveling legs toward the base to prevent damage.

• Tape the door.

• Make sure the wine cellar remains upright during transport.

• Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is hot and humid. Once you open the door, close it as soon as possible.

• Check from time to time whether the appliance is sufficiently ventilated (adequate air circulation around the appliance).

• Adjust the thermostat from highest to lowest setting (depending on the load on the appliance, ambient temperature, etc.).

• Before loading the device with fresh food packages, please make sure it is cooled to room temperature. For hot food, please cool it to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator.

• Setting it to a higher temperature can minimize the energy consumption of ordinary temperature refrigeration appliances.

Problem	Possible Causes and Solution
The wine cellar does not work	Make sure the wine cellar is plugged in and the power outlet is on. Check that the fuse is not blown. Check if the outlet is working by plugging in another electrical appliance.
The wine cellar does not reach the selected temperature	Check the temperature you select. If the ambient temperature is high, the appliance will need a lower temperature selected. Check that the door has not been opened continuously. Check if the door is completely closed. Keep the wine cellar away from sunlight and other heat sources. Place the wine cellar in a well-ventilated location and maintain the installation distance previously reported in this manual.
The wine cellar works continuously	The room temperature is higher than that supported for the correct use of the wine cellar. Check that the number of bottles stored does not exceed the maximum allowed. Check that the door has not been opened continuously. Check if the door is completely closed. The temperature controller is not calibrated correctly.
The light doesn’t work	Check that the appliance is connected to the power outlet. Press the light button. Check if the fuse is not blown. The LED light may have broken.
There are vibrations or a lot of noise	Check if the appliance is in a level position. Check that the legs are properly adjusted.
The door does not close	Check if the appliance is in a level position. Check that the grilles are properly positioned and do not block the door from closing.
There is water under the device	Check that the water tank is properly positioned. The tank may be full of water. If so, empty it.
