3. Prep your filter: If you are using a filter, prepare it by rinsing it for 10 seconds before inserting it into the straw attachment and connecting it to the cap.

The LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2 has three distinct PureVis™ modes:

Normal Mode: Press the button on the cap once to activate. This mode is indicated by a breathing sky blue light.

Adventure Mode: Double-click the button on the cap to activate. This mode is indicated by a pulsing blue light.

Self-cleaning Mode: This mode activates automatically every 2 hours to keep your bottle clean.

For accurate hydration tracking, place the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2 on a flat surface after you drink from it or fill it with water. The bottle will glow with a breathing white light (within 5 seconds) once it has successfully measured the water capacity.

Important: Do not put the PureVis™ 2 Cap in the dishwasher. To clean the outside of the product, use a clean, moist cloth. Never use any strong cleaning sprays or fluids, or similar chemicals on the Product.

How do I cancel a purifying cycle on my LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2?

To cancel a purifying cycle, first press the button on top of the cap, then you can safely remove the cap. Do not remove the cap while a purifying cycle is in progress without first canceling it. If you do, the bottle’s automatic safety protocols will enter a Safety Mode.


What are the important safety warnings and cautions for using the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2?

Please read and understand all warnings and cautions prior to operating your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2.

UV Radiation: Do not look directly at the light. Direct Ultraviolet light can irritate eyes and skin or may otherwise be potentially harmful.

Usage: The cap should only be used with the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2 or LARQ Bottle Swig Top. Do not operate the cap when it is not screwed onto the bottle.

Tampering: Never tamper with, open, or alter the cap. If it malfunctions, stop use immediately.

Electrical Safety: The UV-C light is an electrical device. To prevent shock hazard, keep and store this product away from rain or liquid. Do not use the charger near water.

Charging: Only use the USB cable provided with your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2. Battery recharging should be performed by an adult.

Temperature: Do not expose the Product to temperatures below freezing or above 90°F.

Disinfection Area: The cap’s UV-C light is not intended to disinfect water on the lip or exterior surfaces of the bottle. Ensure the bottle and cap have been properly cleaned prior to use.

Impact: Do not allow impact to the UV-C light. If the cap or UV-C light assembly is cracked, chipped, or damaged, do not operate.

Backup: As with any water treatment system, you should always have a backup method available.

Children: This Product is not suitable or intended for use by children and contains small parts.


How should I dispose of the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2 cap?

The LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS 2 Cap contains a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and must be disposed of properly.

For United States based customers:

Dispose of the product containing the battery in accordance with applicable law. Do not remove the battery. Do not dispose of the product or battery in fire or allow any contact with fire.

For EU based customers:

Removing the rechargeable battery is only for disposal where required by law in Europe. Do not remove the battery until you intend to discard the product. Ensure the battery is completely empty before removing it for disposal.

How to remove the rechargeable battery (for EU disposal):

Make sure the battery is completely empty and observe safety precautions when following this procedure:

1. Cut a cross on the silicone cover.

2. Remove the top plastic cover.

3. Pry the PCB loose.

4. Cut the wires from the PCB.

5. Remove the battery. DO NOT puncture the battery.

6. Tape over the ends of the battery.
