The indicator lights on your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS signify its status:

Breathing green light: The bottle is charging.

Steady green light: The bottle is fully charged.

Steady yellow light: The battery is low. The light will flash twice before and after a cleansing mode.

Red pulsing light: Something is wrong.

Breathing sky blue light: Normal Mode or Self-Cleaning Mode is active.

Pulsing blue light: Adventure Mode is active.

How do I purify water with my LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS?

Step 1: Fill the bottle with clear water up to the indicator line. Water should be clear with no sediments. Murky water should be filtered before purifying with the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS.

Step 2: Screw the cap on and press the Λ button to start the purification cycle. Press once for Normal Mode, and twice for Adventure Mode. Do not interrupt the cycle by removing the cap or pressing the button again.

Step 3: While the cycle is active, gently shake the bottle to spread the purifying UV light evenly. After the cycle completes, you can enjoy pure water from a clean bottle.


What are the different purification and operational modes on the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS?

Your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS has several modes for different situations:

Normal Mode: Use this for drinking water from a trusted, potable source. Press the button once to activate a 60-second cycle, indicated by a breathing sky blue light.

Adventure Mode: Use this when you need extra purification power. Press the button twice to activate a 3-minute cycle, indicated by a pulsing blue light.

Self-Cleaning Mode: This mode activates automatically every 2 hours to keep your bottle clean. It runs a 10-second cycle with a breathing sky blue light.

Travel Lock: Use this mode for travel or storage to prevent accidental activation. Hold the button down for 5 seconds to activate Travel Lock. This mode disables the Self-Cleaning Mode.

Please observe the following warnings and cautions:

• Use the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS and cap according to instructions only.

• This product is not for use by children. Keep the product and batteries out of the reach of small children.

• Caution: Ultraviolet radiation. Do not look directly at the light, as it can irritate eyes and skin.

• The cap should only be used with the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS. Do not operate the cap when it is not screwed onto the bottle.

• Never tamper with, open, or alter the bottle or cap. If it malfunctions, stop use immediately.

• The UV-C light is a high voltage device. Do not open, expose, or touch internal circuitry.

• Keep the product and charger away from rain or liquid.

• Clean the outside with a clean, moist cloth only.

• Do not remove the cap while a purifying cycle is in progress. To cancel a cycle, press the button on top of the cap first, then safely remove it.

• Do not use as a light source.

• Do not expose the product to temperatures below freezing or above 90°F.

• The UV-C light is not intended to disinfect the lip or exterior surfaces of the bottle.

• Always have a backup water treatment method available.

• Avoid impact to the UV-C light. If the cap or light assembly is cracked or damaged, do not operate.


How do I remove the rechargeable battery from my LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS cap for disposal?

To remove the battery for disposal, first ensure the battery is completely empty. Then, follow these steps while observing safety precautions:

1. Cut a cross on the silicone cover.

2. Remove the top plastic cover.

3. Pry the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) loose.

4. Cut the wires from the PCB.

5. Remove the battery. DO NOT puncture the battery.

6. Tape over the ends of the battery.
