To unlock your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS for the first time, press and hold the Λ button on the cap down for 5 seconds. A white color light will flash, indicating that the bottle is unlocked and ready for PureVis™ action.

To charge your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS, take the cap off your bottle and insert the provided LARQ MicroUSB connector into the cap. Then, plug the USB end into any USB wall charger or laptop USB socket until the battery is fully charged. Do not charge with any other USB cable other than the one provided with your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS.

The light indicators on your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS signal the following battery statuses:

Breathing green light: The bottle is charging.

Steady green light: The bottle is fully charged.

Flashing green light: The battery is low. The light will flash twice before a cleansing mode starts.

Red pulsing light: Something is wrong with the device.

Follow these steps to get cleaner water from your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS:

Step 1: Fill the bottle with clear water up to the indicator line shown on the bottle illustration. Water should be clear with no sediments; filter murky water before using.

Step 2: Screw on the cap and press the Λ button for the PureVis™ function. Press once for Normal Mode or twice for Adventure Mode. Do not interrupt the cycle by removing the cap or pressing the button again.

Step 3: While you wait, give the bottle a gentle shake to spread the PureVis™ light evenly. After the cycle is complete, you can enjoy your water.

The operational light indicators on your LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS mean the following:

Breathing sky blue light: Normal Mode is active.

Pulsing blue light: Adventure Mode is active.

Steady orange light: This is a Safety Mode (Light Sensor). The light will turn on when the cap is activated while not on the bottle.

Pulsing orange light: This is a Safety Mode (Temperature). The light will flash when the liquid inside the bottle is too hot.

Normal Mode: For drinking water from a trusted, potable source. Press the button once to activate a 60-second cycle, indicated by a breathing sky blue light.

Adventure Mode: For an extra dose of PureVis™ power. Press the button twice to activate a 3-minute cycle, indicated by a pulsing blue light.

Self-Cleaning Mode: This mode activates automatically every 2 hours to keep the bottle clean. It runs a 10-second cycle with a breathing sky blue light.

Travel Lock: To disable the Self-Cleaning Mode for travel or storage, hold the button down for 5 seconds to activate the Travel Lock. Repeat this action to deactivate the lock.

To cancel a purifying cycle, first press the button on top of the cap, then you can safely remove the cap.

If the cap is removed during a purifying cycle without first canceling it, the LARQ BOTTLE PUREVIS’s automatic safety protocols will engage a Safety Mode. During Safety Mode, the UV LED light is switched to an operating condition that is not harmful to humans for the remainder of the cycle.

Clean the outside of the product with a clean, moist cloth. Never use any strong cleaning sprays or fluids, or similar chemicals on the product.

Before removing the battery for disposal, ensure it is completely empty. Observe safety precautions when following this procedure:

1. Cut a cross on the silicone cover of the cap.

2. Remove the top plastic cover.

3. Pry the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) loose.

4. Cut the wires from the PCB.

5. Remove the battery. DO NOT puncture the battery.

6. Tape over the ends of the battery.
