To use your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS for the first time, you must unlock it. Press and hold the ‘A’ button on the cap down for 5 seconds. A white color light will flash, indicating that the bottle is unlocked and ready for PureVis action.

To charge your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS, take the cap off your bottle and insert the LARQ MicroUSB connector into the port on the cap. Then, plug the USB end into any USB wall charger or laptop USB socket until the battery is fully charged. It is important to only use the USB cable provided with your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS.

The light on the cap of your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS indicates the battery and charging status:

Breathing green light: The cap is currently charging.

Steady green light: The cap is fully charged.

Flashing green light: The battery is low. The light will flash twice before starting a PureVis™ mode.

Red pulsing light: This indicates an error or that something is wrong with the cap.

Follow these steps to purify water with your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS:

Step 1: Fill the bottle with clear water up to the indicator line shown on the bottle illustration. Water should be clear with no sediments; filter murky water before using.

Step 2: Screw the cap on securely. Press the ‘A’ button on the cap once for Normal Mode or twice for Adventure Mode. Do not interrupt the PureVis cycle by removing the cap or pressing the ‘A’ button again while it is active.

Step 3: While the purification cycle is running, give the bottle a gentle shake to spread the PureVis light evenly. Once the cycle is complete, you can enjoy your water.

The light on the cap of your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS indicates the current operating mode:

Normal Mode: A breathing sky blue light indicates a 60-second purification cycle is active.

Adventure Mode: A pulsing blue light indicates a 3-minute purification cycle is active.

Safety Mode (Light Sensor): A steady orange light will turn on if the cap is activated while not on the bottle.

Safety Mode (Temperature): A pulsing orange light will flash if the liquid inside the bottle is too hot.

Your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS has several modes for different situations:

Normal Mode: Use this for drinking water from a trusted, potable source. Press the button once to activate a 60-second cycle, indicated by a breathing sky blue light.

Adventure Mode: Use this when you need an extra dose of purification power. Press the button twice to activate a 3-minute cycle, indicated by a pulsing blue light.

Self-Cleaning Mode: This mode activates automatically every 2 hours to keep your bottle clean. It runs a 10-second cycle, indicated by a breathing sky blue light.

Travel Lock: Use this to disable the Self-Cleaning Mode during travel or storage. Hold the button down for 5 seconds to activate Travel Lock.

To remove the rechargeable battery for disposal, first ensure the battery is completely empty. Then, observe safety precautions and follow this procedure:

1. Cut a cross on the silicone cover of the cap.

2. Remove the top plastic cover.

3. Pry the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) loose.

4. Cut the wires connecting to the PCB.

5. Remove the battery. DO NOT puncture the battery.

6. Tape over the ends of the battery before disposal.

Please read and understand all warnings and cautions prior to operating your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS:

UV Radiation: The product uses ultraviolet radiation. Do not look directly at the light, as it can irritate eyes and skin.

Proper Use: The cap should only be used with the LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS or LARQ Bottle Swig Top. Do not operate the cap unless it is securely screwed onto the bottle.

Tampering: Never tamper with, open, or alter the cap or its components. It is an electrical device and opening it can lead to high voltage shock.

Water and Cleaning: Keep the product away from rain or liquid. Do not use the charger near water. Clean the outside with a clean, moist cloth only.

Charging: Only use the USB cable provided with your LARQ BOTTLE MOVEMENT PUREVIS. Recharging should be performed by an adult.

Operation: Do not remove the cap while a purifying cycle is in progress. To cancel a cycle, press the button on top of the cap first, then safely remove it.

Temperature: Do not expose the product to temperatures below freezing or above 90°F.

Disinfection Limitations: The UV-C light is not intended to disinfect water on the lip or exterior surfaces of the bottle. Ensure the bottle and cap are properly cleaned before use.

Backup Method: As with any water treatment system, you should always have a backup method available.

Impact: Do not allow impact to the UV-C light. If the cap or UV-C light assembly is cracked, chipped, or damaged, do not operate it.

Children: This product is not intended for use by children and contains small parts. Keep the product and its components out of the reach of small children.
