Installation should be performed by an installer who is skilled in the proper use of hand and power tools, knowledge of local building and fire codes, and who is familiar with the environment behind the wall or ceiling where the speaker is being installed. No attempt should be made to install these loudspeakers unless you are sure you will not be cutting through electric cables, water or gas pipes, or supporting joists. Ensure the loading on the wall or ceiling will support the weight of these assemblies.

Step 1. Cut the mounting hole in the ceiling or wall.

Step 2. Connect the speaker cables to the terminals on the back of the speaker.

Step 3. Insert the speaker into the cutout.

Step 4. Tighten the four screws on the front of the speaker baffle to engage the mounting dogs and secure the speaker in place.

Step 5. Attach the magnetic grille to the speaker.

Step 1. Carefully remove the magnetic grille from the speaker.

Step 2. Remove the cloth scrim from the inside of the grille.

Step 3. Spray paint the grille. Ensure the paint is applied in a thin layer to avoid blocking the holes.

Step 4. Once the paint is completely dry, re-attach the cloth scrim to the inside of the grille.

Step 5. Attach the grille back onto the speaker.
