The main controls on the dashboard include:

To program the HomeLink garage door opener, follow these steps:

1. With the car ON, hold the handheld garage door transmitter 1-3 inches from the HomeLink button you want to program in the vehicle.

2. Push and hold both the HomeLink button being programmed and the button on the garage door transmitter.

3. Observe the indicator light:

• For Non-Rolling Code garage door openers, watch for the indicator light to go constant.

• For Rolling Code garage door openers, watch for the indicator light to go from a slow blink to blinking rapidly.

4. For Rolling Code garage door openers only, firmly push and release the “LEARN” or “TRAIN” button on your garage door opener motor in your garage, then push the HomeLink button in your vehicle for two long presses.

5. If the programming was successful, your garage door should open and close with your chosen HomeLink button.

Check your garage door opener motor in your garage for a “LEARN” or “TRAIN” button by the hanging antenna. If you have one of these, you have a Rolling Code garage door opener.

To erase all set channels, push and hold the two outside HomeLink buttons for 20 seconds until the orange indicator flashes. An individual channel cannot be erased.

1. Make sure Bluetooth® is enabled on your mobile device.

2. With the vehicle in the ACC or ON/RUN position, press the Phone button on the vehicle’s touchscreen menu bar.

3. Press “Pairing”.

4. Press “Paired Phones and Audio Devices”.

5. Select “Add Device” then follow the prompts on your phone and on the touchscreen.

Connect your smartphone to the media USB port. The Android Auto™ or Apple CarPlay® icon will replace the phone icon on the touchscreen.

Keep in Mind:

• For Android™ Users, if the Android Auto™ app was not previously downloaded, it will download the first time you plug in your device.

• For Apple® Users, Apple CarPlay® is only compatible with iPhone® 5 or later and requires Siri being enabled in Settings.

1. Press the Pairing button on the touchscreen.

2. Press “Paired Phones and Audio Devices”.

3. Press “Settings” next to the phone or device you want to remove.

4. Press “Delete Device”.

5. Press “X” to exit the settings screen. The device should be removed.

With Connected Services you can:

• Lock Your Vehicle

• Unlock Your Vehicle

• Remote Start Your Vehicle

• Cancel Remote Start

• Activate Your Horn

1. Press “Apps” on the touchscreen.

2. Press “Activate Services”.

3. Press “Activate Now”.

4. There are two ways to activate: via email or via an agent. On the next page, you can either enter your name and email, or press “Call An Agent” to directly speak with a certified agent.

To manually turn off Stop/Start, push the Stop/Start OFF switch located on the switch bank below the climate controls.

To activate Autostop Mode:

• The system must be in STOP/START READY state.

• The vehicle must be completely stopped.

• The gear selector must be in a forward gear with the brake pedal pressed (automatic transmission).

• The gear selector must be in NEUTRAL with the clutch pedal fully released (manual transmission).

Keep in Mind: Prior to engine shut down, the system will check many safety and comfort conditions to determine if they are fulfilled. Certain conditions will prevent the engine from autostopping. See your Owner’s Manual for a detailed list of these conditions.

The Automatic Climate Controls include:

• Heated Steering Wheel: Warms the steering wheel.

• Front Defrost: Directs air to the windshield.

• Blower Control: Adjusts the fan speed.

• Air Conditioning (A/C): Activates the A/C system.

• Mode Control: Changes the direction of airflow (face, feet, etc.).

• Recirculation: Recirculates air inside the cabin.

• AUTO: Automatically controls fan speed, mode, and A/C to maintain a set temperature.

• Rear Defrost: Activates the rear window defroster.

• Driver/Passenger Heated Seat: Activates the seat heaters.

• Driver/Passenger Temperature: Sets the desired temperature for each zone.

TIP: Push the red arrow button to increase the temperature or push the blue arrow button to decrease the temperature for the driver and/or passenger.

• 2H (2WD High): Used for normal street and highway driving.

• 4H AUTO (4WD High Auto): Sends power to the front wheels.

• 4H PART TIME (4WD High Part Time): Forces the front and rear wheels to rotate at the same speed.

• N (Neutral): Used for flat towing behind another vehicle.

• 4L (4WD Low): Provides low-speed four-wheel drive. Forces the front and rear wheels to rotate at the same speed.

Axle Lock

To unlock the axles, push the axle lock OFF button.

Axle Lock Switch

• Push the switch up to lock the front axle & rear axle.

• Push the switch down to lock the rear axle only.

OFF ROAD+

When activated, the vehicle’s performance will improve depending on which 4WD mode is activated.

Shift to either 4WD High or 4WD Low and push the SWAY BAR button.

Keep in Mind: Sway Bar Disconnect should be off during normal driving conditions.

The soft top configurations are:

• Sunrider position with rear & quarter windows installed

• Sunrider position with rear & quarter panels removed

• Sunrider position with rear window installed & quarter panels removed

• Fully lowered position with rear & quarter windows removed

You will need to remove:

1. Hinge pin screws & nuts

2. Wiring connector

3. Door check screw
