To Arm The System:

7. With the door open, use a #T40 Torx head driver to remove the check bolt from the door check attachment.

8. With assistance, lift the door to clear the hinge pins and remove it.

To Install the Front Doors:

1. With assistance, lower the door so the upper and lower hinge pins go into the body hinges.

2. Align the door check bracket with the hole on the bodyside, insert the check screw, and tighten to 19.9 ft·lb (27.0 N·m).

3. Insert the upper and lower hinge pin screws and tighten to 3.8 ft·lb (5.2 N·m).

4. Reconnect the wiring harness, ensuring the lever is fully closed and the red locking tab is pushed down.

5. Reattach the cloth strap to the metal hook and replace the wiring access door.

You can manually adjust the front seats of your JEEP WRANGLER 2022 using the following controls:

Forward/Rearward Adjustment: While sitting in the seat, lift up on the bar located under the front of the seat cushion and move the seat forward or rearward. Release the bar once in the desired position and ensure the seat adjusters have latched.

Lowering The Soft Top Into Sunrider® Position:

3. From both sides, lift up on the #1 Bow of the soft top.

4. Fold the soft top rearward into the Sunrider® position. Secure with hook-and-loop fasteners if desired.

3. Allow the soft top to slide rearward into the stowed position.

4. Push downward on the folded top and slide the lock levers on the lift assist mechanisms to the “lock” position.

Raising The Soft Top:

1. Remove any securing straps.

2. Slide the lock levers to the “unlock” position.

3. Push up and forward from the #5 Bow until it locks into the Sunrider® position.

4. Using the side link, lift and push the soft top toward the front into the closed position.

5. Engage the header latches to secure the front of the top.

6. Reinstall the rear and quarter windows.

To Remove the Hard Top Front Panel(s):

1. Fold down the sun visors against the windshield.

2. Turn the three L-shaped locks on the left side panel (one at the front, one at the rear, one outside) to unlock it from the roof. The left side panel must be removed first.

3. Unlatch the left side header panel latch located at the top of the windshield.

4. Remove the left side panel.

5. Repeat the steps to remove the right side panel.

To Install the Hard Top Front Panel(s):

1. Open the header latch inside the vehicle and the three L-shaped locks on each panel.

2. Set the right side panel on the windshield frame with its locating pin, followed by the left side panel. Ensure there is no overhang and the panels are sitting flush with the body.

3. Reinstall the panels using the same steps for removal in reverse order, ensuring all latches and locks are secured.

Lowering The Windshield:

1. If equipped with a Soft Top, the top must be lowered. If equipped with a Hard Top, the Freedom Panels must be removed.

2. Manually remove the protective caps over the windshield wiper hex bolts.

3. Use the provided 15 mm socket to remove the two hex bolts and the wiper arms.

4. Inside the vehicle, lower both sun visors.

5. Use the provided #40 Torx head driver to remove the four Torx screws along the interior of the windshield.

6. Lower the windshield gently until it contacts the tie-down bumpers.

7. Secure the windshield with a cinch strap through the tie-down on the hood and windshield frame.

Raising The Windshield:

1. Release the securing strap.

2. Raise the windshield.

3. Reinstall the four Torx screws along the interior of the windshield and tighten until snug.

4. Reinstall the windshield wiper arms, aligning the blade tips to the “T” mark on the glass, and tighten the hex nuts.

5. Reinstall the protective caps over the hex bolts.

6. Reinstall the Soft Top Door Rails or Hard Top Freedom Panels.

The instrument cluster on your JEEP WRANGLER 2022 provides key vehicle information through its gauges and driver interactive display. The main components are:

• Tachometer: Indicates engine speed in revolutions per minute (RPM x 1000).

• Temperature Gauge: Shows the engine coolant temperature.

• 2H (Two-Wheel Drive High Range): For normal street and highway driving on dry, hard-surfaced roads. Provides the best fuel economy.

• 4H AUTO (Four-Wheel Drive Auto High Range – if equipped): For variable driving conditions. The front axle is engaged, but power is sent to the rear wheels. Four-wheel drive engages automatically when a loss of traction is sensed.

• 4H PART TIME (Four-Wheel Drive Part-Time High Range): Maximizes torque to the front driveshaft, forcing front and rear wheels to rotate at the same speed. This range is for use only on loose, slippery road surfaces like snow, ice, or sand.

• N (Neutral): Disengages both the front and rear driveshafts from the powertrain. This is used for flat towing the vehicle behind another vehicle.

• 4L (Four-Wheel Drive Low Range): Provides low-speed four-wheel drive with maximized torque for additional traction and maximum pulling power. Use only on loose, slippery surfaces and do not exceed 25 mph (40 km/h).

Your JEEP WRANGLER 2022 may be equipped with standard Cruise Control or Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

To activate either system:

• Push the On/Off button. The cruise indicator light will illuminate in the instrument cluster.

To set a speed:

• When traveling at the desired speed, push the SET (+) or SET (-) button and release. The set speed will be displayed.

To vary the speed:

9. Finish tightening the lug nuts in a star pattern until each is tightened twice. The specified torque is 130 Ft-Lb (176 N·m).

10. After 25 miles (40 km), check the lug nut torque with a torque wrench.

The JEEP WRANGLER 2022 with a gasoline engine is equipped with an automatic oil change indicator system. Service is required when the “Change Oil” or “Oil Change Required” message illuminates.

At Every Oil Change Interval:

• Change oil and filter.

• Rotate the tires.

These engines are designed to meet all emissions requirements and provide satisfactory performance when using high-quality unleaded regular gasoline with an octane rating of 87, as specified by the (R+M)/2 method. The use of 91 or higher octane premium gasoline may allow the 2.0L engine to operate to optimal performance, especially in hot weather or under heavy loads, but will not provide a benefit for the 3.6L engine.

Gasoline/Oxygenate Blends:

Do not use E-85, gasoline containing methanol, or gasoline containing more than 15% ethanol (E-15). Using these blends may cause starting and drivability problems, damage fuel system components, and may void your warranty.

MMT in Gasoline:

The manufacturer recommends using gasoline without MMT (Methylcyclopentadienyl Manganese Tricarbonyl), as it can reduce spark plug life and emissions system performance.
