The mechanical key inside the remote key can be used for all locks on your BUICK ENVISION 2022. To remove the mechanical key, press the button on the side of the remote key and pull the mechanical key out. Never pull the mechanical key out without pressing the button. If it becomes difficult to turn the key, inspect the key blade for debris.

The remote key for your BUICK ENVISION 2022 has several functions:

Q (Lock): Press to lock all doors. The turn signal indicators may flash and/or the horn may sound to indicate locking. If the driver door is open when pressed, all doors will lock, and the driver door will immediately unlock. Pressing this button may also arm the alarm system. If equipped with remote folding mirrors, press and hold for one second to remotely fold the mirrors.

K (Unlock): Press to unlock the driver’s door. Press again within five seconds to unlock all doors. This can be programmed to unlock all doors on the first press. Pressing this button will disarm the alarm system. If equipped with remote folding mirrors, press and hold for one second to remotely unfold the mirrors. Press and hold until the windows fully open (if enabled).

S (Remote Start): Double press to start the engine from outside the vehicle.

7 (Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm): Press and release once to flash the exterior lamps and chirp the horn three times. Press and hold for three seconds to sound the panic alarm.

b (Liftgate): If equipped, press twice quickly to open or close the power liftgate. Press once to stop the liftgate from moving.

With the Keyless Access system, you can lock and unlock the doors and access the liftgate without removing the remote key from your pocket or purse. The remote key must be within 1 m (3 ft) of the door or liftgate being opened.

Unlocking/Locking from the Driver Door:

When the doors are locked and the remote key is within 1 m (3 ft) of the driver door handle, pressing the lock/unlock button on the handle will unlock the driver door. If the button is pressed again within five seconds, all passenger doors will unlock.

Pressing the lock/unlock button will lock all doors if:

• It has been more than five seconds since the first unlock button press.

• Two button presses were used to unlock all doors.

• Any vehicle door has been opened and all doors are now closed.

Unlocking/Locking from Passenger Doors:

When the remote key is within 1 m (3 ft) of a passenger door handle, pressing the lock/unlock button on that handle will unlock all doors. Pressing the button again will lock all doors if either all doors were just unlocked, or any door has been opened and all are now closed.

Disabling/Enabling Keyless Unlocking:

• To disable, with the vehicle off, press and hold Q and K on the remote key at the same time for approximately three seconds. The turn signal lamps will flash four times quickly.

• To enable, with the vehicle off, press and hold Q and K on the remote key at the same time for approximately three seconds. The turn signal lamps will flash twice quickly.

Passive Locking:

This feature locks the vehicle several seconds after all doors are closed if the vehicle is off and at least one remote key has been removed. To customize this feature, see Vehicle Personalization.

Temporary Disable of Passive Locking:

Press and hold K on the interior door switch with a door open for at least four seconds, or until a chime is heard. Passive locking will remain disabled until Q on the interior door is pressed, or until the vehicle is turned on.

If the remote key battery is weak, the Driver Information Center (DIC) may display a message like NO REMOTE DETECTED or PLACE KEY IN TRANSMITTER POCKET. To start the vehicle:

1. Place the remote key in the center console bin transmitter pocket.

2. With the vehicle in P (Park) or N (Neutral), press the brake pedal and then press the ENGINE START/STOP button.

Replace the remote key battery as soon as possible.

To replace the battery in your BUICK ENVISION 2022 remote key:

1. Press the button on the side of the remote key and pull the mechanical key out.

2. Use a flat tool inserted into the bottom center of the remote key to separate the two halves. Do not use the key slot.

3. Remove the old battery. Do not use a metal object.

4. Insert the new CR2032 (or equivalent) battery in the back housing, with the positive side facing down.

5. Ensure the silicone mat is correctly positioned without gaps or wrinkles.

6. Place the transmitter button side down on a hard surface and press the other half straight down to force the halves together.

7. Reinsert the mechanical key.

To start the engine from outside your BUICK ENVISION 2022:

1. Press S twice on the remote key. The turn signal lamps will flash to confirm the request has been received. The parking lamps will remain on while the engine is running.

2. The engine will run for 15 minutes and then shut off automatically. The total remote start run time is limited to 30 minutes between manual starts.

3. After entering the vehicle during a remote start, press the brake pedal and the ENGINE START/STOP button with the remote key inside the vehicle to begin driving.

To cancel a remote start, do one of the following:

• Press S on the remote key.

• Turn on the hazard warning flashers.

• Turn the vehicle on and then back off.

The remote start will not work if:

• The ignition is not off.

• A remote key is in the vehicle.

• The hood is not closed.

• The hazard warning flashers are on.

• There is an emission control system malfunction.

• The engine coolant temperature is too high or the oil pressure is low.

• The 30 minutes of engine run time have been used.

• The vehicle is not in P (Park).

The key lock cylinder on the driver’s door is covered with a cap. To access it:

1. Insert the mechanical key into the slot at the bottom of the cap.

2. Lift the key upward to remove the cap.

3. Insert the key into the cylinder and turn to unlock.

To replace the cap:

1. Position the bottom edge of the cap under the lower edge of the metal piece.

2. Rotate the cap upward and install it into place.

3. Check that the cap is secure.

The rear door safety locks prevent passengers from opening the rear doors from inside the vehicle. The safety lock is on the inside edge of the rear door.

To use the safety lock:

1. Move the lever down to the lock position.

2. Close the door.

3. Repeat for the other rear door.

To open a rear door when the safety lock is on:

1. Unlock the door from the inside using the power door lock switch, or by using the remote key.

2. Open the door from the outside.

To cancel the safety lock, unlock the door, open it from the outside, and move the lever up to the unlock position.

The power liftgate switch is on the driver’s door and has three modes: MAX (opens to maximum height), 3/4 (opens to a reduced, programmable height), and OFF (manual operation only). The vehicle must be in P (Park).

To power open or close the liftgate, select MAX or 3/4 mode and do one of the following:

• Press b twice quickly on the remote key.

• Press 8 on the driver door.

• Press the touchpad on the underside of the liftgate handle.

• Press l on the bottom of the liftgate to close.

Pressing any liftgate button while it is moving will stop it. Pressing again will restart the operation in the reverse direction.

Setting the 3/4 Mode Height:

1. Select MAX or 3/4 mode and power open the liftgate.

2. Stop the liftgate at the desired height by pressing any liftgate button. Manually adjust if needed.

3. Press and hold l on the bottom of the liftgate until the turn signals flash and a beep sounds.

If equipped, and the remote key is within 1 m (3 ft) of the rear bumper, you can operate the liftgate with a kicking motion.

To operate, kick your foot straight up in one swift motion under the left corner of the rear bumper at the location of the projected logo, then pull it back.

• Do not sweep your foot side to side.

• Do not keep your foot under the bumper; the liftgate will not activate.

• When closing, there will be a short delay, and the taillamps will flash with a chime. Step away from the liftgate before it moves.

The hands-free feature will not work while the liftgate is already in motion.

This feature may be temporarily disabled under certain conditions, such as the vehicle being parked for over 72 hours. To re-enable, press a button on the remote key or open and close a vehicle door.

The indicator light near the windshield shows the alarm status:

• Off: Alarm system is disarmed.

• On Solid: Vehicle is secured during the 30-second delay to arm the system.

• Fast Flash: A door, the hood, or the liftgate is open.

• Slow Flash: Alarm system is armed.

Arming the Alarm System:

1. Close the liftgate and hood. Turn off the vehicle.

2. Lock the vehicle using the remote key, the Keyless Access system, or the interior power lock button with a door open.

3. After 30 seconds, the alarm will arm. Pressing Q on the remote a second time will arm it immediately.

Disarming the Alarm System:

• Press K on the remote key.

• Unlock the vehicle using the Keyless Access system.

• Start the vehicle.

Unlocking the driver door with the mechanical key will not disarm the system.

The Driver Information Center (DIC) may display a message if there’s an issue with the steering column lock:

• Service steering column lock: An issue has been detected. The vehicle should be serviced.

• Steering column is locked: This is normal during a remote start but should unlock after the brake pedal is pressed to start the vehicle fully.

• Turn steering wheel, START again: The column lock is bound. To fix this, immediately turn the steering wheel from side to side to unbind the lock. If this doesn’t work, turn the vehicle off, open the driver’s door to reset the system, then turn the vehicle on and immediately turn the steering wheel side to side for about 15 seconds. It may take significant force.

To help prevent the steering column from binding, straighten the front wheels before turning off the vehicle.

To adjust the power mirrors on your BUICK ENVISION 2022:

1. Press } or | to choose the driver or passenger side mirror. The indicator light will illuminate.

2. Press the arrows on the control pad to move the mirror in the desired direction.

3. Adjust each outside mirror so that a little of the vehicle and the area behind it can be seen.

4. Press } or | again to deselect the mirror.

If equipped, the Rear Camera Mirror (RCM) provides a wide-angle camera view of the area behind the vehicle. Pull the tab under the mirror to turn the display on. Push the tab to turn it off, which reverts it to a standard automatic dimming mirror.

To adjust the settings:

1. Press V to scroll through the adjustment options: Brightness, Zoom, and Tilt.

2. Press t and u to adjust the selected setting using the indicators on the mirror. The settings will be saved after five seconds of inactivity.

The RCM may not work properly if there is glare, the camera lens is blocked by dirt or snow, or the camera’s mounting has been damaged.

Programming may be necessary if the vehicle battery has been disconnected. If a window is unable to express-up, program each express-close window as follows:

1. Close all doors.

2. Turn the ignition on or to ACC/ACCESSORY.

3. Partially open the window to be programmed. Then close it and continue to pull the switch briefly after the window has fully closed.

4. Open the window and continue to press the switch briefly after the window has fully opened.

The sunroof controls are located on the overhead console. The ignition must be on, in ACC/ACCESSORY, or Retained Accessory Power (RAP) must be active.

Sunroof Operation:

• Press and release D (1) to express-open to a comfort stop position.

• Press and release D (1) again to express-open to the fully open position.

• Pull and release D (1) to express-close.

• Press or pull D (1) again at any time to stop at a desired location.

Sunshade Operation:

• Press and release C (2) to express-open.

• Pull and release C (2) to express-close.

• Press or pull C (2) again to stop at a desired location.

Sunroof Vent Operation:

• Press and release E (3) to vent the sunroof.

• Pull and release E (3) to close the sunroof vent.

The sunroof and sunshade have an automatic reversal system that will stop and slightly open if an object is detected in their path during express-closing.

Manual Seat Adjustment:

1. Lift the handle under the seat to unlock it.

2. Move the seat forward or rearward.

3. Release the handle to lock the seat in place.

Power Seat Adjustment (if equipped):

• Slide the horizontal control forward or rearward to move the seat.

• Move the front of the vertical control up or down to raise or lower the front part of the seat cushion.

• Move the rear of the vertical control up or down to raise or lower the entire seat.

Reclining Seatbacks:

• For manual seats, lift the lever on the side of the seat, move the seatback to the desired position, and release the lever.

• For power seats, tilt the top of the recline control rearward to recline or forward to raise.

Lumbar Adjustment (if equipped):

Use the four-way controller on the side of the seat:

• Press the top part (2) for upward adjustments.

• Press the back part (3) for rearward adjustments.

• Press the bottom part (4) for downward adjustments.

• Press the front part (5) for forward adjustments.

For vehicles also equipped with massage, move the Feature Select knob (1) to display lumbar adjustments on the infotainment display, then use the adjustment buttons.

Massage Feature (if equipped):

The vehicle must be on to use the massage feature. To activate and adjust, turn the feature select knob on the side of the seat to view massage options on the infotainment display. Make a selection of massage type and intensity.

Saving Seating Positions:

1. Turn the vehicle on or to ACC/ACCESSORY.

2. Adjust the driver seat, outside mirrors, and other available memory features to the desired position.

3. Press and release SET; a beep will sound.

4. Immediately press and hold memory button 1 or 2 until two beeps sound. To save an exit position, use the B button.

Manually Recalling Seating Positions:

Press and hold button 1, 2, or B until the recall is complete. This can be done whether the vehicle is in or out of Park.

Automatic Recalls:

Auto Seat Entry Memory and Auto Seat Exit Memory can be enabled in the vehicle personalization settings. Seat Entry Memory recalls the driving position saved to button 1 or 2 when the vehicle is turned on with the corresponding remote key. Seat Exit Memory recalls the exit position saved to the B button when the vehicle is turned off and the driver door is opened.

If equipped, the buttons are located on the center stack and the engine must be running. Three indicator lights indicate the level: three for high, two for medium, one for low.

• Heated Seats: Lift x or y to turn on the highest setting. Press the button down to lower the heat level or turn it off. The indicator lights are red.

• Ventilated Seats: Press x or y for the highest setting. Lift the button to lower the vent level or turn it off. The indicator lights are blue. Ventilated seats have a fan that pulls or pushes air through the seat; the air is not cooled.

If the vehicle has auto heated/ventilated seats, this feature can be enabled in vehicle personalization to automatically activate at a level based on the interior temperature when the vehicle is started.

Always unbuckle the seat belts before folding a rear seat to prevent damage.

To fold the seatback:

1. Pull the handle on top of the seatback to unlock it. A tab near the lever will raise to indicate it is unlocked.

2. Fold the seatback forward.

To raise the seatback:

1. Lift the seatback up and push it rearward to lock it in place. The tab near the lever will retract when locked.

2. Push and pull on the top of the seatback to ensure it is securely locked.

Airbags are supplemental systems only. They work with seat belts, not instead of them. Whether or not an airbag is provided, all occupants still have to buckle up to get the most protection. In a crash, wearing a seat belt helps reduce your chance of hitting things inside the vehicle or being ejected. Airbags are designed to work with seat belts to provide the best protection.

If equipped and turned on in the infotainment system, the Buckle to Drive feature prevents the vehicle from shifting out of P (Park) when the driver seat belt is not buckled. When the engine is running, the driver’s seat belt is unbuckled, and the brake pedal is pressed, a message will appear in the Driver Information Center (DIC). You must buckle the driver’s seat belt to shift out of P (Park). This feature may also apply to the front passenger on some models.

For proper protection, follow these rules:

• Sit up straight and keep your feet on the floor in front of you.

• Wear the lap part of the belt low and snug on the hips, just touching the thighs. This applies force to the strong pelvic bones in a crash.

• Wear the shoulder belt over the shoulder and across the chest. Never wear it under your arm or behind your back.

• Ensure the belt is not loose or twisted.

• Use the shoulder belt height adjuster (if equipped) so the belt is on your shoulder and not falling off or contacting your neck.

If the ON indicator is lit for a child restraint:

1. Turn the vehicle off.

2. Remove the child restraint from the seat.

3. Remove any additional items from the seat (blankets, cushions, seat covers, etc.).

4. Reinstall the child restraint according to the manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the vehicle seat belt is locked.

5. If the ON indicator is still lit, turn the vehicle off, slightly recline the seatback, and adjust the seat cushion so it is not pushing the child restraint.

6. Restart the vehicle.

If the OFF indicator is lit for an adult-sized occupant:

1. Turn the vehicle off.

2. Remove any additional material from the seat.

3. Place the seatback in the fully upright position.

4. Have the person sit upright in the seat, centered on the cushion with legs comfortably extended.

5. Unbuckle and rebuckle the seat belt without pulling it all the way out to ensure the child restraint locking feature is not engaged.

6. Restart the vehicle and have the person remain in this position for two to three minutes after the ON indicator is lit.

If your BUICK ENVISION 2022 is equipped with a cargo cover:

To install:

1. Slide the cargo cover into the two front corner clips and snap it into place.

2. Attach both cords to the hooks at the top of the liftgate.

To remove:

1. Remove both cords from the hooks at the top of the liftgate.

2. Pull the cargo cover out of the vehicle.

Use the lever on the right side of the steering column:

• HI: Fast wipes.

• LO: Slow wipes.

• INT/AUTO: For intermittent wipes or automatic Rainsense wipes (if equipped). Turn the band on the lever to adjust the frequency or sensitivity.

• OFF: Turns the wipers off.

• 1x: For a single wipe, move the lever down briefly.

• f (Washer): Pull the lever toward you to spray washer fluid on the windshield.

Rear Wiper/Washer:

Turn the end of the lever to operate the rear wiper:

• OFF: Turns the system off.

• INT: Intermittent wipes.

• ON: Slow wipes.

• 1 (Rear Washer): Push the lever forward to spray washer fluid on the rear window.

If equipped, the wireless charging pad is in the storage bin at the front of the floor console. The vehicle must be on, in ACC/ACCESSORY, or in Retained Accessory Power (RAP).

To charge a compatible smartphone:

1. Confirm the smartphone is capable of wireless charging.

2. Open the front storage compartment cover.

3. Remove all objects from the charging pad.

4. Place the smartphone face up against the rear of the charger, fully seated and centered.

A green ] icon will appear on the infotainment display when the phone is detected. If the icon turns yellow or off, or turns red, there may be an alignment issue or overheating. Reposition the phone or remove it to cool down.

Use the right steering wheel control to navigate the DIC:

• Press S or T to access the cluster applications (e.g., Home, Info, Audio, Navigation, Phone, Options).

• Use the thumbwheel to scroll through the list of available features within an application.

• Press the thumbwheel to select an item or enter a submenu.

The available applications and features may vary by vehicle.

If equipped, the HUD controls are to the left of the steering wheel.

• $: Press or lift to center the HUD image vertically (up and down).

• !: Press to select the display view (e.g., Speed View, Audio/Phone View, Navigation View).

• D: Lift and hold to brighten the display. Press and hold to dim the display. Continue holding to turn the display off.

You can also adjust the HUD rotation angle through the “Options” menu in the instrument cluster display. This feature is only available when the vehicle is in P (Park).

The Home Page is where you access vehicle application icons. You can swipe left or right to access multiple pages of icons.

To manage Home Page icons:

1. Touch and hold any of the Home Page icons to enter edit mode.

2. Continue holding the icon and drag it to the desired position on the page.

3. To move an icon to another page, drag it to the edge of the display toward the desired page.

4. Release your finger to drop the icon in the new position.

5. Continue dragging and dropping application icons as desired.

To program the Universal Remote buttons in the overhead console:

1. Hold the end of your original hand-held transmitter about 3 to 8 cm (1 to 3 in) away from the Universal Remote buttons.

2. Press and release one of the three Universal Remote buttons to be programmed. Then, press and hold the button on your hand-held transmitter. Do not release it until the indicator light on the Universal Remote system changes from a slow to a rapid flash or continuous light.

3. Press and hold the newly programmed Universal Remote button for five seconds. If the indicator light stays on continuously or the garage door moves, programming is complete.

4. If the indicator light flashes rapidly and the door does not move, you have a rolling code opener. Locate the “Learn” or “Smart” button on your garage door opener motor unit in the garage.

5. Press and release the “Learn” or “Smart” button. You will have 30 seconds to complete the next step.

6. Return to the vehicle and firmly press and hold the trained Universal Remote button for two seconds and release. Repeat this “press/hold/release” sequence up to three times to complete the process.

To erase all programmed buttons:

Press and hold the two outside buttons until the indicator light begins to flash (about 10 seconds), then release both buttons.

The IntelliBeam system automatically turns the high-beam headlamps on and off according to traffic conditions. It activates when driving over 40 km/h (25 mph).

To enable the system, press b on the turn signal lever when it is dark outside and the exterior lamp control is in AUTO or 2. The blue high-beam on light will appear in the instrument cluster when the high beams are active.

The high beams will automatically turn off when the system detects:

• An approaching vehicle’s headlamps.

• A preceding vehicle’s taillamps.

• Bright enough outside light.

• Vehicle speed drops below 20 km/h (12 mph).

The system may not function correctly if the windshield sensor is blocked by dirt, snow, or other obstructions.

To activate voice recognition:

1. Press g on the steering wheel controls or touch the g icon on the infotainment display.

2. The audio system will mute and play a prompt.

3. Clearly speak one of the supported commands.

Helpful Hints:

• Listen for the prompt before speaking.

• You can interrupt a prompt by pressing g and speaking your command.

• Speak naturally, not too fast or too slow.

• Use direct commands like “Call [name] at work,” or “Tune to [station number].”

• For navigation, first say a command that explains the type of destination, such as “Navigate to an Address,” then follow the prompts.

To cancel a voice recognition session, press c or i on the steering wheel, or touch the voice icon on the screen.

If equipped, you can connect a compatible smartphone to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

For Wired Connection:

1. For Android Auto, download the app from the Google Play store. No app is required for Apple CarPlay.

2. Connect your phone using a high-quality, factory-provided USB cable to a USB data port.

3. When first connected, accept the terms and conditions on both the phone and the infotainment system.

4. The corresponding icon on the Home Page will illuminate. It may launch automatically, or you can touch the icon to launch it.

For Wireless Connection (if available):

1. Ensure wireless projection is turned on in your phone’s settings.

2. Connect your phone via Bluetooth to the vehicle’s infotainment system.

3. Follow the on-screen prompts on both the phone and the vehicle display to complete the setup.

To return to the vehicle’s home screen from Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, press the { (Home) button on the center stack.

Your BUICK ENVISION 2022 may have a manual or dual automatic climate control system.

For Dual Automatic Climate Control:

• AUTO: Press for automatic operation. The system will automatically control fan speed, air delivery, A/C, and recirculation to reach and maintain the set temperature.

• ON/OFF: Press to turn the system on or off.

• Temperature Controls (Q / R): Lift or press the driver and passenger side controls to adjust the temperature for each zone separately.

• SYNC: Press to link the passenger’s temperature setting to the driver’s setting.

• Fan Control (Q^ / R ^): Lift or press to manually increase or decrease the fan speed. This will override the automatic fan setting.

• Air Delivery Mode Controls (z, Y, [): Press to manually direct airflow to the windshield, instrument panel outlets, or floor outlets.

• A/C: Press to manually turn the air conditioning on or off.

• @ (Recirculation): Press to recirculate air inside the vehicle, which helps cool the vehicle more quickly.

• 0 MAX (Defrost): Press to direct maximum airflow to the windshield for faster clearing of fog or frost.

• K (Rear Defogger): Press to turn the rear window defogger on or off.

The passenger compartment air filter is located behind the glove box.

1. Open the glove box.

2. Squeeze both sides of the glove box bin inward to lower it beyond its normal stops.

3. Release the latches on either side of the service door.

4. Open the service door and remove the old filter.

5. Install the new air filter, ensuring the orientation is correct.

6. Close the service door completely.

7. Reverse the steps to reinstall the glove box.

If you see steam coming from the engine compartment:

1. Pull over and stop immediately.

2. Do not open the hood. Wait for the cooling system to cool down.

3. Get everyone out of the vehicle and away from it.

4. Have the vehicle serviced.

If there is no steam but the overheat warning is on:

1. Turn the air conditioning off.

2. Turn the heater on to the highest temperature and fan speed. Open the windows as necessary.

3. When it is safe, pull off the road and shift to P (Park) or N (Neutral) and let the engine idle.

If the temperature gauge returns to a normal range, you can continue driving slowly for about 10 minutes, keeping a safe distance from other vehicles. If the warning does not come back, drive normally and have the system checked. If the warning continues, park the vehicle, turn off the engine, and wait for it to cool down.

Checking Engine Oil:

1. For the most accurate reading, park the vehicle on level ground and check the oil after the engine has been off for at least two hours.

2. If you cannot wait two hours, the engine must be off for at least 15 minutes if warm, or 30 minutes if not warm.

3. Pull out the dipstick (the handle is a loop), wipe it clean with a paper towel or cloth, and push it back in all the way.

4. Remove the dipstick again, keep the tip down, and check the level.

When to Add Engine Oil:

If the oil level is below the cross-hatched area at the tip of the dipstick, add 1 L (1 qt) of the recommended oil and recheck the level. The oil fill cap is in the engine compartment. Add enough oil to bring the level into the proper operating range on the dipstick. Do not overfill.

Reset the system only after an oil change.

1. Using the DIC controls on the right side of the steering wheel, display the remaining OIL LIFE percentage on the DIC.

2. Press the thumbwheel while the Oil Life display is active. A confirmation message will display.

3. Select YES. The oil life will change to 100%.

Be careful not to reset the display accidentally at any other time. It cannot be accurately reset until the next oil change.

Front Wiper Blade Replacement:

1. Pull the windshield wiper assembly away from the windshield.

2. Lift up on the latch in the middle of the wiper blade where the arm attaches.

3. With the latch open, pull the wiper blade down toward the windshield to release it from the J-hooked end of the wiper arm.

4. Remove the old blade.

5. To install the new blade, reverse the steps.

Rear Wiper Blade Replacement:

1. Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield.

2. While holding the arm, press down at the end of the wiper blade assembly (1) where it attaches to the wiper arm (2) to remove the blade assembly.

3. Align the new wiper blade assembly with the wiper arm and install by pushing up on it until it clicks into place.

To jump-start your BUICK ENVISION 2022, you will need a good battery in another vehicle and a set of jumper cables. Your vehicle has a positive (+) terminal under a cover and a negative (-) grounding point.

1. Position the two vehicles so they are not touching.

2. Turn off the ignition and all accessories on both vehicles.

3. Connect one end of the red positive (+) cable to the positive (+) terminal of the discharged battery.

4. Connect the other end of the red positive (+) cable to the positive (+) terminal of the good battery.

5. Connect one end of the black negative (–) cable to the negative (–) terminal of the good battery.

6. Connect the other end of the black negative (–) cable to the negative (–) grounding point on the vehicle with the discharged battery.

7. Start the engine in the vehicle with the good battery and let it run at idle speed for at least four minutes.

8. Try to start the vehicle that had the discharged battery.

To remove the cables, reverse the sequence exactly.

1. Find a level place to change the tire. Set the parking brake firmly and put the transmission in P (Park).

2. Place wheel blocks (if equipped) on both sides of the tire diagonally opposite the one being changed.

3. Access the spare tire and tools by opening the liftgate and lifting the load floor.

4. Use the wheel wrench to loosen the wheel nuts, but do not remove them yet.

5. Position the jack at the correct location under the vehicle frame, indicated by a notch in the body side sheet metal.

6. Raise the vehicle by turning the jack handle clockwise until the tire is clear of the ground.

7. Remove the wheel nuts and the flat tire.

8. Place the compact spare tire on the wheel-mounting surface.

9. Reinstall the wheel nuts and tighten them by hand until the wheel is held against the hub.

10. Lower the vehicle by turning the jack handle counterclockwise. Remove the jack.

11. Tighten the wheel nuts firmly with the wheel wrench in a crisscross sequence.

12. Have the wheel nuts tightened to the proper torque specification as soon as possible.
