Danger

• Do not use a damaged GODOX S60BI-CB. If the product shell is cracked from a fall, squeeze, or strong impact, stop using it immediately to avoid touching internal electronic components and receiving an electric shock.

• Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer. If an extension cord is needed, use one with a current rating greater than or equal to that of the equipment to prevent fire, electric shock, or injury.

• Do not disassemble the GODOX S60BI-CB. If it malfunctions, it must be repaired by authorized personnel. If the lamp bead is damaged or deformed by heat, stop using it and contact qualified personnel for replacement.

• Do not use or store this product in explosive atmospheres, such as near flammable solvents (alcohol, gasoline) or gases (methane, ethane).

• Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter between the light head and any person or heat-sensitive/flammable items during and after operation.

Warning

• The GODOX S60BI-CB is not waterproof. Keep it dry and do not immerse it in water. Install it in a dry, ventilated place and avoid using it in rainy, humid, dusty, or overheated environments. Do not place objects on the light or allow liquid to flow into it.

• Do not block or cover the heat dissipation port.

• Allow the product to cool completely before packaging.

• For battery-powered operation, only use batteries, power sources, and accessories specified in the instruction manual.

• Keep batteries and accessories out of the reach of children. Seek immediate medical attention if a child swallows a battery or accessory.

• If a battery leaks, changes color, deforms, or emits smoke or an unusual odor, remove it immediately. Be careful to avoid burns. Continued use can result in fire, electric shock, or skin burns.

• Do not use deformed or modified batteries.

• Do not disassemble, modify, heat, or solder the product or battery.

• Keep the battery away from fire and water and do not subject it to strong external impacts.

• Do not insert batteries with incorrect polarity, and do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

Before using the GODOX S60BI-CB, you must remove all transport protective materials and packages. When not in use, please turn off the product and stop the power supply promptly.

The GODOX S60BI-CB package contains the following items:

• Control Box ×1

• U-type Bracket ×1

• D-TAP to DC Cable ×1

Follow these steps to install the GODOX S60BI-CB:

1. Install the control box onto the light fixture and tighten the locking screws.

2. Connect the DC output port of the control box to the DC input port of the light fixture.

3. Install the U-type bracket on the other side of the light fixture. The fixture is sold separately.

To establish a wired DMX connection, you will need a separately purchased DMX adapter cable (DMX-C2) and a DMX cable.

1. Insert the DMX adapter cable DMX-C2 into the wired DMX port on the GODOX S60BI-CB control box. This equips the fixture with DMX output and input ports.

2. Connect the separately purchased DMX cable from the control box to the DMX console to realize a wired connection.

The GODOX S60BI-CB can be powered in two ways:

V-mount Battery (14.8V): Insert one end of the included D-TAP to DC cable into a separately purchased V-mount battery, and the other end into the DC input port of the control box.

Power Adapter (20V): Insert one end of a data cable into a separately purchased power adapter or power bank, and the other end into the USB-C input port of the control box.

After connecting the GODOX S60BI-CB to a power source, toggle the power switch button to the < | > position to turn it on. To turn it off, toggle the switch to the < O > position.

Short press the MODE button to enter CCT mode. In this mode, you can adjust the brightness (DIM) and color temperature (CCT).

• Rotate the select dial clockwise to increase the parameter values.

• Rotate the select dial anticlockwise to decrease the parameter values.

• DIM range: 0.0% ~ 100.0%

• CCT range: 2800K ~ 6500K

Short press the MODE button to enter FX mode. Rotate the select dial to choose from 11 effects. Short press the SET button to adjust the parameters for the selected effect. To adjust, rotate the select dial, then press the confirm button and rotate the dial to move to the next parameter. If you select “Manual” for the trigger, the effect can be triggered once by pressing the select dial. After setting an effect, press the MODE button to return to the effects selection interface.

Press the MENU button to enter the menu interface. Rotate the select dial to navigate through the setting options, and press the SET button to enter a specific setting. To return to the previous interface, press the MENU button.

To access DMX settings, enter the MENU, rotate the select dial to “DMX”, and press SET. You can then adjust the following settings:

Enter the MENU, select “Bluetooth,” and press SET. Rotate the select dial and press SET to turn Bluetooth on or off.

To reset Bluetooth, rotate the select dial to highlight “Reset” and press the SET button. The MAC code is displayed for quick checking.

For a quick Bluetooth reset, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the control box until the progress bar is full.

To control your GODOX S60BI-CB with a smartphone, you need to download the “Godox Light” app, which is available for Android and iOS.

Notes:

1. The app can be used directly with the first device it’s connected to. If you change to a different smartphone or tablet, the light must be reset (Bluetooth reset) before a normal connection can be established.

2. The app should be version 3.0 or above.

1. Open the “Godox Light” app and enter a scene.

2. Click “+” to add a fixture.

3. After adding the device, click the “…” icon to display more settings.

4. Choose “firmware upgrade” to proceed.

In the MENU, navigate to “Dimming Curves” and press SET. Rotate the select dial to choose from the following curves, then press SET to confirm:

• Linear

• S-Curve

• Exponential (EXP)

• Logarithmic (LOG)

In the MENU, go to “Smoothing” and press SET. Rotate the select dial to choose an option, then press SET.

In the MENU, select “Control Mode” and press SET. Choose between “Normal” and “Low End” modes. After selecting a mode, rotate the select dial and press SET to adjust the frequency from 1 to 11.

Enter the MENU, select “Fan,” and press SET. Rotate the select dial and press SET to choose among the following fan modes:

• OFF

• Auto

• Medium

• High

Enter the MENU, select “Display,” and press SET. Rotate the select dial and press SET to adjust the display brightness from 10% to 100%.

Enter the MENU, select “Language,” and press SET. Rotate the select dial to choose between Simplified Chinese and English, then press SET to confirm your selection.

1. Insert a separately purchased DMX adapter cable (DMX-C2) into the wired DMX port.

2. Download the new firmware file from the official website to a U disk. Note: The new firmware must be downloaded from the official website, and only one BIN file should be in the root directory of the USB disk.

3. Turn off the device. Insert the U disk with the new firmware into the USB-A port on the adapter cable.

4. Press and hold the MODE button while turning the device on. It will automatically enter the upgrading interface.

5. The device will return to the main interface after the upgrade is complete.

Enter the MENU, select “Factory Reset,” and press SET. Choose “Yes” or “No”. If you choose “Yes,” the device will automatically reset and reboot. After rebooting, you will be prompted to choose between Simplified Chinese and English. Once a language is selected, the brightness will automatically be set to 100%.

Enter the MENU, select “Fixture Info,” and press SET. This screen will display basic product information such as Model, Version, Temperature, Certification, and UID.

1. Preconditions:

• The GODOX S60BI-CB must support NFC addition.

• The “Godox Light” app must be version V3.2.4 or above.

• Bluetooth and NFC functions must be turned on on your smartphone.

2. Operation Instructions:

• Open the “Godox Light” app and enter the desired scene.

• Tap the “+” icon and select the “NFC Addition” function.

• Bring the NFC sensing area of your smartphone near the NFC sensing area of the light fixture to add it. Bulk addition is also supported.

• Note: Android systems can complete the addition by directly touching the sensing areas. For iOS systems, you need to click the NFC icon in the top right of the app and wait for the pop-up window before bringing the phone near the fixture.

The GODOX S60BI-CB complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and

(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device. If interference occurs, you are encouraged to try one or more of the following measures:

– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

– Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

– Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

– Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements and can be used in portable exposure conditions without restriction.

The GODOX S60BI-CB complies with Industry Canada’s license-exempt RSS standards. Operation is subject to two conditions:

(1) This device may not cause interference, and

(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements and can be used in portable exposure conditions without restriction.
