Note: If stains cannot be removed easily, wipe them lightly with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a thin neutral detergent solution.

Follow the instructions on the touch screen to remove a jammed paper from the Transfer Unit.

1. Pull up the front handle of the cover and open the front cover until it stops.

2. Turn the handle [2] of the Transfer Unit to the right and pull the Transfer Unit out to the front until it stops.

3. Slowly pull out the jammed paper in the arrow direction and remove it.

4. Open the handle [2a] and remove any jammed paper.

5. Return the handle [2b] and handle [2c] to their original positions.

6. Open the handle [2d] down and remove any jammed paper. Return the handle [2d]. Push the Transfer Unit back to the rearmost position and turn the handle [2] to the left. Close the Front Cover.

To clear a jam in the lower section of the FUJIFILM APEOS C6580:

• Lower Left Cover: Open the Lower Left Cover. Remove the jammed paper. Close the lower left cover.

• Lower Right Cover: Open the Lower Right Cover. Remove the jammed paper. Close the lower right cover.

3. If the jam is further inside, pull out the tray 3 and tray 4 unit. Open the handle and remove the jammed paper. Close the handle and push back the paper tray unit until it closes.

If paper is jammed in the Bypass Tray:

1. Remove all the jammed paper from the bypass tray.

2. Reload the paper again, making sure it is properly aligned.

The machine will prompt you when it is time to order a new Toner Cartridge. Replace toner while the machine is powered ON.

Caution: Place a few sheets of paper on the floor before removing the cartridge to catch any excess toner.

1. Ensure the machine is not currently operating, then open the Front Cover.

2. Place your hand under the toner cartridge you are replacing and slowly pull it out. Gently shake the new cartridge before inserting.

3. Orient the new toner cartridge with the arrow facing up and insert it until it stops and clicks into place. Close the front cover.

Caution: Do not use warm water or cleaning solvents to remove Toner (Dry Ink) from skin or clothing, as this will set the toner. Use a brush or cold water and mild soap. Do not use a standard vacuum cleaner.

2. Hold the handle of the waste toner container and take it out of the machine.

3. Hold the handle of the new waste toner container and slowly push it in until you hear a ‘click’ sound.

4. Close the front cover.

1. Ensure the machine is idle before opening the Finisher Door.

2. Hold the stapler unit [R1] and move it to the front.

3. Hold the lever and remove the empty cartridge.

4. Pinch both sides of the empty staple case (1) and remove it from the cartridge holder (2).

5. Insert a new staple case into the cartridge holder (1) and push the back side (2) to secure it.

6. Insert the reloaded cartridge into the machine. Close the Finisher Front Door.

1. Open the Finisher Door, then hold and pull out the cartridge lever.

4. Insert a new staple case (1) and push the back side to set it in place (2).

5. Insert the cartridge into the original position, and insert the booklet maker all the way back in. Close the cover.

1. From the machine home screen, tap the [Jobs] icon.

2. The [All Jobs] screen displays current and pending jobs. Select a job to view its status, which can be Completed [successful] or Completed with error [unsuccessful].

3. Click on a job log to display the details of that job. If an error occurred, the error will be indicated in the message. You can tap [job history report] to print out the report.

4. Select [X] to close the screen.
