How do I clean the FUJIFILM APEOS C6580?
When wiping the main unit, use a soft, moistened and tightly-squeezed cloth. Do not use chemicals such as benzine or thinner.
Exterior
1. Wipe the exterior with a soft, moistened, and tightly-squeezed cloth. For stubborn stains, use a soft cloth slightly moistened with a thin neutral detergent solution.
2. Wipe the moisture off with a dry soft cloth.
Touch Panel Display
Wipe lightly with a dry soft cloth. If using a wet cloth, ensure it is tightly squeezed. Do not wipe strongly as it may damage the panel.
LED Printhead
Clean the LED printheads when you have replaced the Waste Toner Container or Drum Cartridge.
1. Confirm the machine is not operating, and open the Front Cover.
2. Turn the handle of the Toner Conveyance Box to the left.
3. Push the knobs on both sides inward, pull out the Conveyance Box, and place it on the floor.
4. Slide out the cleaning bar from the back side of the Front Cover. With the arrow on the bar facing down, insert the bar until it stops, then pull it out slowly. Repeat this two to three times for each LED printhead.
5. Place the cleaning bar back to its original position.
6. Return the Toner Conveyance Box to its original state and turn the handle to the right.
7. Close the Front Cover.
Scanner (Document cover, Document Glass, film, scanner glass)
Wipe off any dirt with the supplied cloth about once a month. For stubborn stains, wipe lightly with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a thin neutral detergent solution.
Document Feeder rollers
Clean the rollers about once a month.
1. Pull up the front handle of the Top Cover of the Document Feeder, and open the cover until it stops.
2. While turning the rollers, wipe them with a soft cloth slightly moistened with water.
3. Close the Top Cover of the Document Feeder and make sure that there is no gap on the front or rear of the cover.
How do I clear a paper jam on the FUJIFILM APEOS C6580?
If paper is jammed, the machine stops and an alarm sounds. Follow the instructions on the screen. Gently remove the paper, being careful not to tear it. If it tears, remove all pieces. Printing will resume after the jam is cleared.
General Notes:
• Check the paper jam position before pulling out a Paper Tray.
• Clear paper jams while the machine is on.
• Do not touch components inside the machine to avoid print defects.

1. Open the Lower Left Cover.
2. Remove the jammed paper.

1. Pull out the affected Paper Tray until it stops.
2. Remove the jammed paper.
3. Push in the Paper Tray.
Paper Trays 3, 4
1. Pull out the affected Paper Tray until it stops.
2. Remove the jammed paper.
3. Pull out Tray 3 and Tray 4.
4. Pull out unit [C], then open the handle and remove the jammed paper.
5. Close the handle and push in the Paper Tray.
Paper Tray 5 (Bypass)
1. Remove the jammed paper. If a message appears to cut the paper, do so without pulling it out, then tap [Confirm].
2. Open the Upper Cover of Paper Tray 5 (Bypass) to remove all paper pieces.
3. Close the Upper Cover.
Duplex Automatic Document Feeder
1. Remove all documents from the Document Tray.
2. Pull up the front handle of the Top Cover and open it until it stops.
3. Open the Left Cover until it stops.
4. Remove the document.
5. If the document is caught in the entry, remove it from the Left Cover.
6. If caught in the exit area, lift the Document Feeder Tray and pull the document toward the exit.
7. Put the Document Feeder Tray back into position.
8. Close the Upper Cover, then the Left Cover.
9. If needed, open the main Document Cover, pull down the handle to open the Side 2 scanner, and remove the document. Close the Side 2 scanner and then the Document Cover.
Transfer Unit
Warning: The Fusing Unit is hot and may cause burn injury. Do not touch this unit.
1. Open the Front Cover.
2. Turn the handle [2] of the Transfer Unit to the right until it is horizontal, then pull the unit out until it stops.
3. Slowly pull out the paper in the arrow direction and remove it. Ensure no paper pieces remain.
4. Perform the operation displayed on the screen (e.g., opening handle [2a], [2b], [2c], or [2d]) to remove the jammed paper.
5. Push the Transfer Unit to the rearmost position and turn the handle [2] to the left.
6. Close the Front Cover.
